Follow the evolution of a Demon girl as she learns to survive in a fantasy world!
The life of an Infant Demon is a bloody grind to the top. For Salvos, a curious newborn Demon with a penchant for making friends, surviving the swarms of wild Demons in the Netherworld was always going to be a difficult task. She will adapt, gain experience, and evolve to survive this hellish landscape with the help of her sole companion.
But when her companion's life is threatened by a mysterious Demon King, she'll have to do what it takes to save him. Even if it means separating from him and being tossed into an unfamiliar world with Humans, monsters, and a bright blue sky where she is scorned for being born a Demon.
However, the law of evolution is survival of the fittest, and no matter where she is, Salvos will survive.
Do note that it's a slow-paced but action-packed litrpg!

And before someone downwote because there is spelling mistakes. I don't mean them. I mean the flow of the text, the character progression and world build.
This story is well thought out from even before the first chapter. Things that at first don't make sense or you think are just there for flare ends up to be explained and almost flawlessly wowen in to the world. Moving the story forward and giving it even more life and depth for every twist and turn.
I honestly didn't know what to think when i first picked up Salvos a monster evolution (lit rpg). Just like the setting it was a while blank world, flat and littered with pebbles. You get to experience the story from the perspective of a character that knows exactly as much as the reader. Exactly nothing. This make the start slow and werry happy go lucky. Just as the setting, it feels a bit bland. But that's the thing. After a couple of chapters you realise what an intensional masterstroke it is. The MC is naïve, she is new to the world and her world view doesn't have the depths of experience and knowledge. In short, she is happy go lucky.
And you get to learn how hard living actually is along with the MC! Every step she takes, every encounter she has her and the readers world view expands, becomes more complex and more and more alive.
And that's the masterstroke. You get to experience loss and hardship, joy and happiness alongside the main character. And it keeps true to her. Salvos is a complex and young person. She is unexpected and most importantly new to everything and the tone of the story stay true to to this.
This story is happy go lucky. This story is sad this story is simple and confusing and furious and complex. This story follows Salvos as she discover and experience a world she have no idea was there. And the tone of the story dose the same. It's happy, it's sad, it's confusing and it's alive!
Yes at first I didn't know what to think. As a small larvae explored a - Darath69Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0MelasD creates well crafted characters who are entertaining and witty. The world-building has been really interesting providing a great backdrop for the main character Salvos and Salvos' companions Daniel and Edithe. The author introduces other characters during the stop who are unique and interesting in their own right.
I love that though this is set in a fantasy world where the characters level up and earn skills, that there is far more to the story than that.
The author is very aggressive at removing older chapters. If you like reading the story on here, do not fall behind by even a few weeks! - Ranny22Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Not an extemely complicated story, character is fun, It is like a fresh breeze among tons of litrpg series on RR. It does not make always all about fighting, which can get boring. Character build up is really well. World-building is slow but you won't be confused with it. Overall, a really good series.
- ThundamooRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Salvos is not a groundbreaking masterpiece. It's not an exciting adventure the likes of which you've never seen before. You will not be bowled over with awe at its unrelenting magesty. But that's not what a story has to be in order to shine. Sometimes I just want to read something that gives me a goofy smile. Salvos is that story.
A lighthearted adventure about a demon trying to go home to see her friend, Salvos starts off a little dark but quickly progresses into an almost sitcom-style journey about a silly, dorky demon girl who likes to fight making friends with humans and repeatedly baffling them. The plot progresses smoothly and sensibly, the character motivations are simplistic but consistent, and Salvos's slow character progression, while occationally heavy-handed, is satisfying and enjoyable to read.
MelasD is a fantastic author with an excellent sense of grammar and flow. Chapters are snappy and I never found myself getting bored with the pacing or uninterested in the current objective. Past the beginning section, the story just feels fun. Tropes from similar stories are introduced with amusing twists, combat is snappy and interesting but never feels grim, and the constantly upbeat attitude of the main character is a joy to read.
To anyone looking for a simple fantasy romp to make you grin, I can't recommend this enough. - DarthPotatoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this series. The story is somewhat chaotic which perfectly matches the personality of Salvos. It's always following Salvos' whims, but while still keeping consistency and tying everything together.
It's a great exercise in viewing from a different mentality: I've read several monster mc stories and they mostly all still hold human values and become less "monstrous" as the story progresses. Salvos however keeps a firm grasp on her identity, and though she has fun with humans she doesn't think like humans, and since the story is from her perspective it makes for a very entertaining read. - Edward RavenbearRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0When you enjoy a book, you just do, at least that is how I see it. And I have really enjoyed this read. I will buy Vol 1 just to support the author. A fine job, keep at it. It is a very unique take on the group, and Salvos reminds me of another on RR called " Misadventures of a Rampageinng Demon" and the loli Elder God in "" which you can find on Amazon and Scribble Hub. These book(s) have been well worth the read.
- shubertRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0To keep this simple but sweet the reasons I enjoy the story are the same as when I first began reading it. Author seeks to add depth to the story but keeps the core of the story intact and in doing so brings a fresh stream of ideas into a steadily building world that is their story.
- EnperadoreaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like daniel and edithe but i dont like chapters when it just them, i need that dose of salvos, No noticable grammar mistakes, salvos is adorable as hell, characters are likeable especialy salvos, have you noticed how much i like salvos? over all a fun read, def in my top 10 novels,i think ive only read about 20-40 novels since i started 1.5 years ago so that might not mean much
- Gunny14Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Read it, loved it, will keep loving it for a long time. The characters are lovable and have their own complications, it's incredibly rare to find one that is two dimensional. This story is so much fun the whole way through. Even when not actively working towards the major goals in each arc, they're kept in mind and progress never stops. I'm dreading the ending I know has to come eventually.
- Someone_elseRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I'm having a great time with this one. Not perfect. There are a fair number of weaker chapters sprinkled throughout but the journey is mostly very entertaining with the dungeon crawling and leveling up being my favorite parts. Quite enjoyable characters too. The main character provides some fun comic relief but also isn't completely absent character growth either.
