I know Repusor-Ardor's writing from his other fiction and decided to read this one. It's a very good story and has great character development in it's 8 chapters. He mentions he had abandoned it before but I wonder if perhaps he'll revisit it and add to the story in the future.
This story spans a great deal of time, and has different viewpoints in most chapters. Just a very enjoyable read.

If you like the author's way to write, or like the "They Answered The Call" book you will love this book as well.
Different point of view, and different time line, but all fit very well, you don't get lost, it's easy to recall and it's well written.
I like the action, the characters' stories, the difference of point of view between species.
In the beginning I thought it was related to the book from the same author "They Answered The Call" but 2 or 300 hundreds years in the future.
But no. Not at all, different species, very different governing entities, it's a different universe, but a nice one as well.
