I have honestly been looking for something like this story in here for a long time and this book so far has been so good at having balance between the story and action and fantasy, and also life, characters and the romance and I love it so much. It has been hard to find a good fantasy romance where the balance is just right, and I thinm that the author has done an amazing job with that so far. It is really fleshed out so far and I feel like the story line so far has been really clean. I also like how the characters have struggles that kinda feel relatable and it makes me excited to see how the characters overcome things. Ooh! I also really love the jokes and stuff made, but also how the two characters so far have interacted. It is really funny seeing the mc's inner thoughts and how he has those base emotions and stuff and its just so fun and refreshing to read the romance where its not just sex or something but slower bonding and things in common. I love it. I am also excited to see how the trust goes because it was funny reading the "don't go to guild headquarters" scene and I am interested to see what kinda things she has laying around. I think that my only problem with this book so far is the fact that I am all caught up and there is no more chapters to read. Keep up the amazing work author cause you are doing a great job!

First off I will say this is my first review on RR but I just had to write it. I've been reading litrpg since it's inception in the early 2010s and it's been very hard to find one recently in what I consider the old school style similar to the russian novels from back then, where the real life stuff matters as much as the in game and it isn't just a bunch of video game screens and stats added to a run of the mill fantasy story which seems to be most litrpg these days, this story reminds me of the old russian novels from back then which were excellent because they blended the in game life with real life and didn't solely focus on one or the other and the main characters were almost always flawed and broken and easy to sympathize with so if your searching for a read similar to those I'd highly recommend this one just based on the first few chapters, and I'm excited to see where it goes

Squee is indeed the sound that you shall make while reading this story.
The story is wonderful and you need to read it. Alright, review over, that is all that needs to be said.
... But I love it so much that I will say more anyways. Everything from the characters, game, reality work together very well. Each part is crafted with lots of attention to the smaller details.
This story is clearly a gamelit, and boy does it deliver. Often times the 'game' aspect might take a sideline to focus on the story. But nope, this story goes fully into the game mechanics, interactions and of course, exploits. Of course, this story is not just the game either.
The two lead characters are fantastic, wonderful, stellar, [insert a billion other compliments]. They feel real, and like actual people that would be playing video games with such dedication. They don't waste time fumbling around with mechanics like absolute newbies. Nope, its right into the OP game play. Each character uses the game in a different way, and it makes them feel so real. People's real lives are directly in effect, instead of ignored as so often occurs. It really makes the characters feel alive, real, and relatable as actual die-hard gamers that seek to do nothing but level up faster.
Combine this with the style, which maintains a fast pace, while also taking it slow at times. Then you've got a wonderful combination of deeply thought out video game, real life dynamics and of course, the romance.
Yes, if it wasn't enough already, this story has romance. A great romance. One that (if you are anything like me) will have you laying on your bed and kicking your feet while squealing at the sheer cuteness that the story gives off. Yes, it is simply that good.
Romance is a big part of it, but it simply that. A part. There is tons more to the story, real stakes that really make it feel real and possible to happen in the future. To avoid spoilers, you will simply have to believe me on that part.
In summary, if you are a pers

    It's 5 AM.
The best fight scenes I have ever read - prose that perfectly compliments it. Deeply strategical and convincing - these are plays better than in Minecraft Manhunt, Overlord, Kengan Asura... unbelievably good flow and use of a defined skillset to pull out victories that'll have you roaring. Lovely to keep any LitRPG elements buried where it belongs.
The story's base concept may sound generic, but the execution? Amazing. This is just a really, really well done example of an ESports, combat based story.
Someone might be better equipped than me to adjudicate the portrayal of disability here, but by all means it doesn't appear to hold back, and is very evocative.
Grammar is perfect, no notes. Love the switching between perspectives to keep the same character sets fresh and engaging.
Only criticism is that the characterization of Aiden has no major leaps throughout the story? His viewpoints have been continuously validated throughout, it would have been cool to see something change, but I'll be honest, it is still immensely easy to root for our two MCs. It's a speck of dust on David.
I think I would certainly rate this lower if I could find things to critique about the story, but there aren't, so I'll leave it like this.
P.S. oh yeah, the blurb is not great, it doesn't capture the raw peak of this story. definitely edit it if you can!

This is a story for all those NEETs. Just kidding. I love the main characters and their backstories. The male MC is a "pro" gamer except for the standard professional part. He has bills to pay but he doesn't want a regular 9 to 5 so he makes money by looting players in a VR game. The setting of the story is the fantasy VR game, Wonderwind. The male MC runs into another "pro" gamer who is our female MC who has her own interesting backstory and needs money. The both work together to make money and slowly develops feelings for each other.I like the story's focus on the main characters lives and challenges outside of the VR game. As well as their feelings for one another. For a romance story these are imperative.Yet the author has skillfully woven the world of Wonderwind so we can be immersed in the same VR world that the MCs are in. I like the manual skill aspect of the VR game and the AI NPCs all these add to the realism of the story which pairs well with the real issues the MCs battle in the real world. The pacing is good as well. 25 chapters in and the stakes have been raised, and we know a fair bit about both main characters. I hope the author can keep the pace while added more wonder and interesting developments which keep the story fresh and alive.I'm also hoping the author adds more supporting characters for the main cast soon so we can have a multifaceted story, not just about the male and female MC.Grammer and style on the overall is good. I hardly notice any errors, if any. But I tend to focus on the story more than the language. On that point, I think the author has delivered a good one thus far. It kept me devouring the pages like a hungry dragon and I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

Im kind of sad I found this so early, lol. This is the kind of book I could gleefully binge 500 chapters of, and then remember im supposed to have a life. Anyway, its phenomenal, and im probably gonna recommend it to some friends. But, im dreading the grey next button :\ Im tempted to give it a 1 star meme review about lack of chapters, but that would be mean... and it deserves as many fives as it can get. That said, I could praise the individual content of the story endlessly, but I think the other reviews have already said everything. So im just gonna leave it here, go back to reading, and pray the next 11 chapters are somehow 10 times longer than they are supposed be or something.

I'm never usually motivated to review, but this story is simply captivating. I also came here because of Seersucker's recommendation in the last chapter. I'm eager to continue reading this story. It's... one of those stories that shows truly human characters, not like those with an unbreakable will or impeccable character. It shows the pain of real life, its difficulties, how we often escape to alternate realities. It's a fiction that shows the depth of its characters without saying it directly; it just shows it. It's a fiction that should be on Rising Stars.

MC is OP as the description suggests, but the author has built it up properly so that it feels earned.
Romance is very cute and integral to the plot in case that is important to you. Romance progression is slow enough to not feel forced but fast enough to not feel stagnant (again feels earned).
    Absolutely wonderful series so far.
    Note specifically for the author:
I just finished the latest chapter as of 2025-12-19 17:01 EST and have to say that if Aden doesn't pull something out and win his next tournament match, regardless of his gear, (or find another way to get a ticket to world) I'm going to cry. 😆
Probably cry if he wins too, just different type of tears. 😆
You've done an amazing job of this series so far and I hope you have had as much fun writing it as I have had reading it.

Probably one of the best novels on RR. The Characters are well written dialogue is about as perfect as you get the fact that the author got someone to do the artwork should tell you how much thought an execution went into this novel. Even if you don't like romance or virtual reality novels, I definitely think you should give this one a shot.

The story follows a young man who wants to be a pro gamer in a deep dive fantasy game. He's amazing but just starting out. his family, on the other hand thinks he's a bum. Follow along as he fights for his dream and maybe finds love along the way.
This is a great story with strong fight sense and a compelling story, that is easy to relate to. The writing is crisp and pulls you along well. If you like VR books this is a must read and if you don't like them then this is the exception. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
