Description

There is a dungeon deep in the Appalachian mountains. It is a place of danger and death, but also of opportunities.

Michael stumbled upon it by chance, but survived and came out alive. Alive and changed.

Magic is real. Magic is returning.

The world will not be the same.

Elemental energy, Mana, Qi, Intent...the magic system is vast and its potential is limitless. Michael wields [Skills], while others have outlandish powers brought from Tomes, Cards or Faith itself.

Danger is everywhere. Earth will be overrun by monsters, and anomalies will spread death and destruction.

Enemies are everywhere. Other dungeons, other delvers. People who don't care about the damage they will cause, bringing the world to the brink of annihilation.

To counter that, Unity Corporation will rise to dominate the whole world under Michael's guidance, ushering a new era of prosperity.

Watch Michael struggle to make his dream a reality, gathering allies and friends, studying magic and containing anomalies, striving to maintain peace in a changing world.

still, I really liked it, the progression and power system is interesting, with the lit rpg mechanics not being overly excessive. Theres mentions of a hidden worldbuilding within the worldbuilding which is also nice.
overall a very good story that you should read if you like dungeons or progression

I love the creativeness that has gone into this story.  The MC is trying his best not to let power go to his head, and has'nt let all his morals fall to the wayside dispite being overwelmed with all sorts of threats, distractions and even the occasional backstabbing. His over-arching goal of helping the world survive what is coming, while still making sure over-all his company is still trying to create a net good for the average person around them, and how difficult that is, is inspiring. Ignore the haters, they will always find a reason to hate. Broken and brainwashed people cant be won over with logic. So don't take it to heart when they spew that hate your way. Keep up the amazig work Author.

I really like the idea and the "probably" infinit possible of magic systems becouse i am to 90% sure we havent seen all of it yet
The only thing i dont really like is the time frame because if i remember correctly only 2 weeks passed since the beginning and everything they are doing seems to be to fast and such but else perfect

i think this is a good story by my standards .
the few bad reviews i saw were upset the story wasnt making sense at the start.
but like many or all books they take time to become more clear once the story has developed.
    simply hold in there .

Style score:  It is a unique take on dungeon development on Earth.
3rd person point of view in a world mostly oblivious to magic.  It leaves several hints that Earth appeared to be far different in the past with magic being established more deeply before.
Story score:  I really admire the interplay between side characters.  You love, hate, and are uncertain about ones that I believe the author intended to be such.  I look forward to seeing how things continue to develop.
Grammar score: I saw no real concerns.  My readthrough hit no snags that disrupted the reading immersion.
Character score:  The character is justifiable with their decisions.  He is calculated and thoughtful in his preparations and personal growth.  As the author admits, he is a bit naive.
He has proven lucky so far regarding who he has trusted.  I'm betting it will come to a head soon where he may have to choose between delving deeper into the Criminal side or come to the lawful side.  It would be nice if he could somehow toe the line for the most part.
Overall:  I hope to see much more of this story and look forward to the development.
Side note:  Ignore those low rated reviews.  They likely can't create something of this quality and instead take out their disgruntlement on a hard working and talented writer.
I hope this author and many more like them continue regardless of the trolls that exist.

Great overall story, characters, and setting. The most compelling part being the dynamic story threads that are not only the MC, but that weave and sometimes clash with his. All of the characters introduced so far have done their part, especially the annoying ones. 12/10, am excited for more blue boxes.

A very enjoyable modern take on end-of-the-world magic incursion. Since modern, we understand the world. Characters’ flaws and motivations reveal today’s pursuits. The non-uniqueness of the MC’s family (though more extreme) is well understood.
The magic-world, we’re getting to know. I enjoy the seemingly sentient ‘monsters’ - don’t call them that. We don’t currently know any dungeon breaks but with the decision to bring the MC’s General, that could change. I’m very interested in what happens when the governments get concerned with foreign travelers arriving.
This story is worth reading. This author is worth supporting any way you can.

There is a steady amount of fighting but, in my opinion, with a realistic amount of caution used. The MC is able to return to our “normal” world with a reasonable amount of opportunity, as opposed to being locked in the new magical world with the only option being to forge forward into constantly increasing and unknown danger.
His is able to use his newly gained abilities in our world-with limitations-and allows the reader to return to their youthful dreams of what it would be like to live in our mundane world with a superpower or two.
There is a bit of problematic assumptions as to how many people are given access to the knowledge about the magical skills the MC has gained with the idea that this information will be kept secret with little more than a verbal agreement but that’s a learning curve for characters (as well as authors).
The author is consistent in his writing of his characters and their growth and his story premise is good LitRPG without becoming stale. I’m quite enjoying the ride, so far.

A really solid story focused on how the world would be affected by some people secretly gaining access to magic, a lot of fraction/organization building in the later chapters and character growth in the early ones, characters are convincing and consider what kind of person would land in certain position or be capable of certain things, the only part that doesn't fit that super well is the protagonist. The author is not particularly experienced but still solid in his form and looking at the Patreon chapters - improves his pacing with time.
Not for everyone but overall a really solid story, cool stuff about making and functioning of secret organizations is the main selling point in my opinion.

This story is one of the few story’s on RR that I’ll drop most anything in doing to read, which is saying a lot considering I (currently at time of writing) read about 10 different story’s and only drop anything to read 2 of them, counting this one. Love your work author, keep it up and I can’t wait to see what Mike is going to do next.
