Description

Hey, what would you do after you got isekai-ed? Me? Look! A cockroach villain has appeared. Let's kill him before he messes things up. Too cruel? That kind of character is always introduced to be killed by the protagonist anyway so I'm doing the world a favor here. Less CO2 emission. It's time to "Go Green" guys, even in another world. See over there, that's a trash young master type right there. What do I do? Endure the initial insults and provocation then dispose of him when no one sees of course. Why make things difficult? Hmm, a pretty girl in peril. Potential love interest there… but no, I have enough problems as it is. At the very least, I won't help her just 'cause she's a female. Same goes for males. What? I support gender equality. Hey, I know the clichés, what did you think I was going to do? Simply let it run its course? Wellduh,I'll twist it to my benefit. ************************************************ -This is a power fantasy story. Weak to strong, strong to stronger.-The MC is very genre savvy and a hardcore internet citizen.-English is not my first language, apologies for the imperfections. Grammar is ok never really got i the way of the story, the references I love I don't get why people hate on them, the only reason it's a 4/5 for me is recently the updates have not been as often.

The story's MC is awesome just the right mount of villain for me. Keep up the great work author your story is the best on RR so far that I've found.
(I need a few more words to post the review so I'm just gonna put some words down here until I reach 50 words)

Aurora scroll is unashamedly a power fantasy in all of the best ways. Like the MC itself the story is genuine in what it is and what it is not. Do not expect a grand work of literature or storytelling however this story will take you on a magical ride of sheer excitement and it doesn't let you go.
Stylistically this story started of in the middle of the action. I later learned that there is a prequel book that nicely introduces the initial backstory. Overall the pacing is fast with some occasional slice of life. However the action is where this story shines. When the pacing picks up prepare you butt because it goes and it doesn't stop. Finally I love how meta this story is. I just can't get enough of all those references. It's on par with vanquier the dragon in that aspect.
Grammer could be better, there are the occasional typos and tense issues but those are fiarly quickly fixed by the author. It's starts off rough but it gets a lot better later on. It never impairs the understanding of the story.
Story and characters are really intertwined in this story. Viers is the story and the story is about Viers. It's a hyper meta rendition of what a hardcore Royalroad reader would do is iskeaied into a cliche story. The whole premise is about Viers identifying tropes, killing off threats and enjoying his best life.
All in all give this story a try. It's genuine, enjoyable, and a hell of a ride.

I've been reading for 6 years, this story only gets better. Like a classic Reverend Insanity, with modern classic show or video game taste.
Never finished RD but this novella has only gotten better with age.
    Spoiler
You can practically pick up this story at any chapter and enjoy it

Loving the story, please keep it up. Sometimes I start disliking some small detail (like Sigma or interfering with fate) but you always turn it around (killing Sigma and the insignificant fate arte) so now I have faith in your writing which helps my reading to be more relaxed. The Book World arc has been quite unexpected but still fun.

I wanted to write a long rewiew in which I explained why this work is  absolutely a must-read of cultivation novels, I explained how I knew of most of the quoted novels and how fun Viers is while he more or less successfully imitates the great characters of his Fables, a long-winded explanation on why the style fits perfectly, on the mind-bogglingly detailed world-building, the grammar is just good, how good the storyline is turning out to be, I can't wait for the fight with Anne and the showdown with Freya, the alternate time line of Demon King Viers I adore, but my sister  eliminated the file from my pc because I ate her ice cream, (the fourth time was too much I admit) and I am too lazy to rewrite all of it, so author, be satisfied with this, to me your novel is capable of becoming on par with Birth Of The Demonic Sword in my heart, it already is more than a match for most cultivation novels, never lose the drive or creativity, good tidings in life to you Avery

Now this is a parody in a way. The main character was an avid reader of xianxias, isekai novels, etc. and has found himself in a world that is a mix of worlds from these novels. Main character takes getting used to since he loves throwing references all the time, but if you are fine with him in the beginning he and this story grow on you. Only thing that has a chance of ruining this story for me is this weird harem that is being built, I hope there is no romance and if there is that its with one girl.

I can't express how glad i am for this story. The main character is so efficient so good at letting down people's guards. Like seriously he made me believe he had a consience for a second or two. He also has cute familiars so that's a huge plus. Sure the weird references might be annoying at times and his actions are often just confusing but with that it also opens up the room for cool references.

A really amazing story. I love it through and through. Personal favorite.
It has an amazing Villain main character and it does a great job of presenting unique spins on cliche plots from the POV of a terrifyingly competent villain.
This story just does a fantastic job of balancing the main characters strength. Most generic stories just have an always over powered wins every fight beats people stages above themselves main character.
This story does a phenomenal job making the MC exceptionally powerful and yet still having other prodigies around his strength. It annoys me sometimes when the 20 year old cultivator defeats the 200 year old master who is 1 stage above the main character in power. This story does things right.
For critiques, there are a few times when the Main Character immediately figures out things that I personally believe he shouldn’t be able to deduce (this is a pet peeve of mine).
Also, the author stops doing it in the later chapters, but near the beginning the author will briefly depict an alternate timeline, where he goes over what would have happened if the MC didn’t do what he did. I really don’t like it when that happens.
