He only has their System, unemotional and precise, delivering missions and permissions like a blade laid across his palms. Sometimes it demands a monster be erased. Sometimes it points at a human who looks ordinary and says: this one must end. Here is the catch: Cael is not allowed to flood the world with unlimited magic. Spells are restricted. Power is earned. Upgrades come through survival, mastery, and the climb. The knowledge in his head makes him terrifying, but the rules keep him honest. This is LitRPG and progression fantasy where the numbers matter and the System is consistent. Expect assassin tactics, hard choices, and cinematic violence. Expect the climb. No harem. No sex scenes. Just missions, resistance, and a Servant who can die like anyone else. Launch schedule: 10 chapters day one, then daily for 16 days, then Monday to Friday, backed by a heavy backlog and reliably auto-scheduled. Judgment is waiting. Cael is just buying time… with blood.

I have been following this novel and so loving it. Admittedly, the first few chapters were like a manual like the other raters stated. However, as the story progresses, these preliminary info are really needed, otherwise the reader will expect the main protag to get OP quickly, which is NOT what this novel is. There is progression, but not fast.
If you like Assassins Creed, the vibe in later chapters will have the action and suspense.
Give this novel a chance. It will go from just ok to really good!

Review of first 20 chapters. The story has potential, situated in quite common scenario of transmigrated protagonist. The story, world and system is well thought and paced well. The only thing i would pin point would be authors over usage of negative description and definition such as he did it not because he wanted, but because he had to or the light was not sharp, not blinding but subtle. it worsened reading experience and flow of the story for me.

Interesting start, not sure why it got two stars right out of the gate. But we’ll give it a shot and see if its initial rating was warranted or not…
The writing style might come across a bit jarring wordy and overly descriptive… ok it’s got an uncomfortable amount of word vomit to say very little… recommend saying more with less. I think you’re losing people with the side tangents about inanimate objects experiencing anthropomorphic emotions. Are you telling us about your Mc or how inanimate objects experience the world. This work would benefit from a scalpel and cutting down to bare bones with enough description to see the world without drowning the readers perspective in side tangents.

Assuming this isn’t written by AI…
The narrative voice is hard. Sharp. Too sharp. It’s poetic and atmospheric to write with a stylized voice. Short, blunt sentences can be used as a literary device to convey the feeling and vibe of a particular situation, but it creates a sort of distance between the reader and the story preventing immersion when used consistently over multiple chapters. It creates a choppy, stilted overall tone that takes away, rather than adding to, the impact of the narrative. Too much of a good thing, and all that.
Pathetic fallacy and anthropomorphism are similarly overused, losing their power and impact, going from interesting and atmospheric to overly philosophical and ponderous, which, honestly, just kind of drags & makes for a boring read. There’s a saying in artistic creativity: kill your darlings. A little judicious editing to cut out the use of these devices except where you really want them to have impact will make them stand out and move the reader far more.
My suggestion would be to keep that tone & style in the void in chapter 1. It fits the context and creates a sense of unreality you want in that space. When you move on to the tutorial space in chapter 2, change it up. For example, since that space is
a trap of comfort
, you could go for the opposite writing style; something overly smooth with long, luxurious sentences, words that feel like cake in your mouth. The juxtaposition of the two chapters would strengthen the impact of both styles. But after that, maybe move into a more natural narrative flow, something readers can sink into and become immersed in your story. Again, just a suggestion, and you’re welcome to ignore it, take pieces of the advice, or do whatever you feel is right.
If it is written by AI… this is why that just doesn’t work. It lacks sensitivity to things like how prose & tone impact a reader.

This "book" is almost completely written by AI. At the very least put 'AI-assisted' as one of the genres ... .
The author uses short sentences everywhere, with the typical AI negations such "Not x. Not y. But something else entirely" all the time. The author doesn't even try to hide it.
The premise itself looked somewhat interesting but I just can't read anything like this anymore ...

I encourage prospective readers to not waste their time. This fiction is written by artificial intelligence. Unless you enjoy reading repeating word structure and verbiage chapter after chapter, structured to be read by 7 year old children, with robotic efforts at artificially building drama, then I would HARD pass on this fiction.

It’s an interesting idea. It reads like an AI is making a list of what is happening. It repeats and restates the same thing again and again. It would have been better if the author put a note about the AI involvement so people are prepared for the writing. There is a chapter saying there will be a rewrite and I hope it’s done without AI so it feels real and natural.
