Chu Xuan traversed the Mystic Azure Realm and became a demonic cultivator in the Infinite Sect. To cultivate as a demonic cultivator means to plunder the essence of the heavens and earth and seize the quintessence of all things. One has to slaughter countless beings to rise as a supreme demon lord.

However, such killing was intolerable under the heavenly Dao of the human race. Consequently, the Infinite Sect was annihilated by the orthodox sects. In desperation, Chu Xuan stumbled upon a Blood Mirror, which allowed him to travel to a post-apocalyptic planet overrun with zombies!

He realized that this place was a perfect sanctuary exclusively for demonic cultivators! If he dared to sacrifice a million humans, the heavenly laws would strike him with thunder and burn him to ashes. But if he sacrificed a million zombies, not only would he face no disasters, but he would also be showered with golden blossoms, enveloped in glorious light, and blessed with merits!

I personally enjoyed the MC and how as he aged the mortals that he knew all passed away. This gave a depth to the story that many lacked.
Thanks to the author for this great novel.

I really like the story, the writing style of the author is a bit plain but way better than in his first series.
The world building is pretty interesting, has a lot of layers and is relatively complex. There are multiple storylines and worlds and the character switches between those from time to time, which keeps the story interesting. The protagonist is of the villainous type, which I fond very refreshing, but let's say that people's life's aren't privatized much in the book.
Character development isn't done much by the author, which I feel like suites the story, but when you're reading interesting interpersonal exchange the story might not be for you. The story does have reoccurring characters, but they arent really build up as emotional persons, they do have goals/motivations tho. So im still giving 3.5 stars, just because I dont think there story needs much of those.
If you're up for a fun read without having to think much and just enjoy to see the story development give it a try.
In the current chapters (especially the ones on patreon the story feels a bit lacking in orientation, since there is pretty much just survival/growth as an motivation)

Binge-read up the most recent chapters and this is a great novel that I can't wait to read more of.
I'm definitely going to share this with the Discord group I'm in. I also recommend it to anyone who enjoys an evil MC with no romance/harem. Romance/harem can really mess with a story so I'm glad we are able to just focus on the plot as well as our MC.
My hope in the later books is that MC gets to use an odd weapon like a fan or hell even an umbrella.
Also, I hope he gets to use the psionic energy for something interesting. Since it's less quality than Qi I could have more variety in use as well as be cheaper to spam.

Very good novel. Reminds me a lot of Warlock of the Magus World but more dao focused - i.e zero interest in the opposite sex and everything is cultivation focused. Basically no life but still enjoyable to read.
This is not an original novel. It is translated. Raw name is 重生魔修,开局捡到一颗丧尸星球. There are over 1400 chapters in raws.

The mc is a villain indeed. He is smart and doesn’t matter if he needs to be shameless. The only reason I am not into this book anymore is its slow pace. It would be nice if this was noted. Yea, that is all I have to say about this book.

This story is really good; it's got pretty good grammar and English despite you claiming that it's not your first language. But there are a few things I would like to tell you about.
First, I've noticed that the main character has a personality issue. I don't know if this was intended or if you made a mistake. All I know is that it goes like this.
You don't mess with me, and I won't mess with you, kinda a thing. You tend to go back to this quite often, which confuses me a bit. As the story progresses, he switches to the kind that will find an opportunity to mess with others who haven't even done him any real harm or mess with him.
Like he once said he repays his enemies with evil and those who treat him well with good. But this seemed to have disappeared as time went on. (Side note: I think he might be going a bit insane. This might be a side effect of having a worm in his brain. Please let me know... Am dying to find out.)
The world-building in this story is excellent; the whole thing just fits in perfectly without me having to have studied the story's geography. So don't ever feel there is a need to change it because it might seem a bit lacking, it's not. So keep it up I'm rooting for

It's an alright story with an okay plot that follows mostly to what is said in the summary. Is it amazing? No. Is it something you might want to read to pass the time sure. The only real complaints I could give are three things. One the world building needs a lot of work. Two the lack of explanation for the Cultivator stuff as it is not obvious to the reader due to there being different systems with no explanation on what this one is. Three the main character doesn't seem to have too much development, you just see him go "oh this is great for my cultivation" or "let me do this for my gain to cultivate better". I guess what I'm saying is it's hard to relate or really form a connection to the character as he seems kinda shallow.
Now with the critics out of the way I will say I enjoy the story well enough and will continue to read. I also know that I tend to be harsh with my reviews. I think if you are interested give the story a chance and you might really like it. It's an okay story that keeps the attention to pass the time.

This reads like a Chinese xianxia LN with good translation quality, not a Western xianxia.  Evil-ish MC who mostly wants to be left alone and doesn't need much resources due to his cheat, but there's always something going on.  His cheat gives him some opportunities to explore other settings seeking insight, but he still spends much of his attention on his home setting.

Horrendous and a literary sin. This isn't even a story, there is no thought or effort put in it. Even AI assisted stories were leading to something at least, flawed as they are. Ever read something and thought the author slaps random words and chains events together that are completely unrelated but the plot armor must go strong and continue? There are no characters, there is no character development, there is no world building, no overarching story or something to build up to, nothing at all. No idea how this even was rated so high. Bots perhaps.
The story also is laden with plot holes and contradicts itself on an every 10 chapters basis. No, I'm not talking about the character's sarcasm. I'm talking about the fact that demonic cultivation is supposedly used because of resource scarcity and competing with other cultivators. His enemies are his resources, but he has barely been able to keep up with the others, despite having infinite resources and having farmed at least 400k confirmed zombies (the off-screen numbers could easily be in millions). The  only help he actually had is the good karma/merit that he harvested by killing "evil beings", the zombies being considered such. He is a living saint by the Heaven's/Dao's standard. How is even Demonic cultivation considered to be the efficient choice, when he is requiring so much to barely be on par or slightly stronger with the geniuses that are 10 years younger than him. He is 30, but chronologically is around 40 due to time dilation. This guy is a fraud and a blatant waste of cultivation resources.
I didn't invent this from my headcanon, it's from the story and what happened.
Detailed TLDR: Main character's cultivation gets stuck because his talent is "average", kills and loots someone, find exactly the recipe for what he needed to breakthrough his blockage. Next chapter he finds the exceedingly rare and random required items for what he just looted immediately served on a silver platter, the world instantly cooks a
