The main point of this review is this: the story is good. The idea of a gun into a xianxia world is intriguing. At first, I expected the MC to develop a gun and use it to kill arrogant cultivators while unleashing techniques like "Heaven Crushing Fist" or something similar. But instead, the author went for a magic gun approach, which I don't mind at all. In fact, the weapon is incredibly overpowered, and I enjoy stories where the MC has a cheat item like that. No complaints here!
Also, you can also feel the author's passion for the story. There are already several plot threads that hint at a larger conflict brewing in the future, and I hope the payoff is worth the wait.
Now, let's break down the key elements of this story:
    Story:
No problems here. I was hooked from the beginning and I'm still hooked until the latest chapter. Several elements have really caught my attention, like Yan Yu, The Darkness, the origin of the weapon, and more. As of chapter 59, the MC is on what feels like a side quest, but I'm still invested and eager to see where it goes. I hope this side quest ends with a bang.
    Style:
To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of multiple POVs. For example, when I was reading Stormlight Archive, I got excited during Kaladin's POV, but skim through other characters' sections. So when this story switched POVs for the first time, I thought I might drop it. But surprisingly, I stuck with it and came to appreciate the way the author handled it. The POV changes are minimal and often tied to the MC, so they feel purposeful rather than distracting. It's almost like an extended way of giving the reader a "peanut gallery" experience, which is common in Chinese web novels. This works really well for me personally and doesn't disrupt the flow.
    Grammar:
There's nothing too distracting about the grammar, so I'd say it's fine overall.
    Characters:
Liu Xing, the main character, is a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, I love his enthusiasm for cool techniques, and his a

if you like fast paced stories xanxia stories then this is for you. Things move pretty quickly right from the get go and don't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. I like how the gun itself is incorporated into the story. I know some people might like just a straight up gun from modern earth that can just kill anything, but the gun here is more like an artifact that is blending well with the current power/cultivation system present in the world.
There seems to be distant battle or antagonist that the MC will eventually have to confront, and I'm looking forward to see how the MC not only uncovers the danger, but also fights against it.
I'm reviewing this story a bit early but I would like some more explanation regarding the all the cultivation realms that were mentioned early on. Perhaps this is taken care of later in the story?
Either way, I think this is a good read, and I can only imagine just how exciting the future fights will be when a mystical artifact-like gun is involved. I’m also curious to see how the gun itself changes or if it changes at all. Can It change it another type of gun eventually? That would be cool.
Give this exciting story a read and see how the MC becomes a legend with his gun!

The concept of the protagonist reincarnating with a gun is quite interesting, and from what I’ve read so far, it’s been well executed.
However, I personally didn’t like the magical aspect of it. I think I would have preferred if it were just a gun that he could reload somehow.
I started reading thinking I’d see a badass protagonist opening holes on Xianxia characters, but the weapon ended up becoming more of an artifact for skills/techniques. I feel that this made the concept of a firearm in a Xianxia world lose some of its uniqueness. Although I understand why it was done, since the martial artists in this world are so powerful that a regular weapon wouldn’t be very effective.
The story’s pace is fast, and the author has a talent for comedy.
The protagonist is cool, and the other characters are also interesting. The author has created a genuine Xianxia world: the characters, the setting, the plot, everything is reminiscent of Xianxia. So for fans of the genre, this book could be a good read.
One thing that bothered me was that sometimes the protagonist’s name was repeated several times unnecessarily in the same paragraph, which irritated me a bit.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and think it has a lot of potential. I had fun reading it.

To be honest the concept to this story is as simple as it is funny. Transmigrated to another world but with a gun, that’s it. Granted the gun dose show a more expanded ability toolset then a normal gun would, but that is something I will let you discover for yourself.
Now does this story deserve five stars? Don’t know. It’s to early to say, but I will be giving it a full score because anything lower would kill it performance, and I genuinely liked what I have read so far. I read all the chapters that where out in one sitting.
The story: The speed of progression is always something I have held to importance in cultivation stories. Not so fast to make the realms feel meaningless and not to slow to be boring. So far the story has done this pacing quite nicely. The world building is more sparse but I believe this is only because we are in the beginning. The story takes use of cultivation tropes that I together with many xianxia novel readers will recognize. This is not a bad thing as long as they are used correctly and I feel there has been no misuse as of chapter 25. The fighting scenes must be what have impressed me the most. Though the combat power of our mc shots up very fast after he discover more of the gun’s capabilities, it is not by entire cultivation realms which I think is good. He also faces interesting monsters that I hope to see continue.
Grammar: Nothing that has ruined immersion which is good enough for me 👍
Characters: This story has multi POV. Something I have always found enjoyable, and that has stories vise led to side characters which feel more impactful. It is always fun to se the reaction to the mc’s nonsense. Now it’s to early to comment on the main character so the only thing I will say is that he is very murderhoboish towards beasts but not so against humans.
Lastly all this simple reader want is more chapters, let’s go all American on these cultivators!

Do you like Cultivation Novels?  Do you like well written action? Do you like an OP MC who's down to earth but keeps getting thrown into crazy situations and who's not afraid to get crazy right back.  The MC happens to have a magical gun and isn't afraid to use it when the crazy starts.
The author does the Battles very well, the gun fits in well.  Very good writing, good plot and very good flow all round.  I very much enjoy this series and recomend it for the characters, world building and the action.

It's a good read, the battles are beautiful and the mysteries engaging especially when it comes to where the character is or who the MC will have to face and the darkness's involvement in the story.
As for the MC I like how the story portrays Liu Xing and his struggles adjusting in a Xianxia setting and how much he'll allow his morals to bend when he originally comes from a modern setting, he's also more kinder then I would expect compared to other novels that have a similar MC that I've read before, although he's definitely willing to face slap the next arrogant master/monster/heavens chosen?/grandpa.
Also this review is short but I do want to give it a more advanced review when I get the opportunity, so as of now I'll have to be satisfied writing this without giving too much away thoughtlessly.

This story is quite interesting. It follows your typical cultivation characters, but I’ve reached a point where we might see a change or gain new perspectives, which I hope happens. Its appeal comes from the adventures of the main character (MC), who unlocks the abilities of a gun and powers up. His adventures are enjoyable to read—not mind-numbing, but simple adventures that take you to unexpected places. It’s quite fun, and with the incredibly fast updates from the author, you won’t be left hanging.
However, there is an aspect of this novel that I hope the author will flesh out, though most cultivation novels don't. I think it should be the MC's motivation and his connection with his friends. Flashbacks involving him and his friends would be a nice addition. I believe that with all his adventures, this would ground his character and make his journey more relatable.

I really like this one. It’s got a nice fast pace and it’s a lot of fun to read. I’m really liking where this is going and hope to see more form this author in the future. I’m not sure how the author manages to keep up such a fast pace on publishing while still maintaining such high quality but keep up the good work!

Honestly haven't seen the concept of having a Gun in a Xianxia before. This is a really interesting idea. Seeing how someone with an Earth mentality adapting to a Xianxia World and being a cultivator is really interesting. I'm interested in seeing where this goes as a story and watching how the protagonist develops as a person and cultivator.

The premise is good. The setting's good. The MC, though I don't like some parts of him, is alright.
It's just the first part of this webnovel that made me take off points for it. You can clearly see the author improve and start to stretch out his writing skills past 40,50 chapters, but for the first like 20 or so, there's grammer (especially tense issues), character, and setting flaws.
I really wish the author could have slowed it down a bit and expanded on the backstory for the MC's previous friends, as that was thrown at us super suddenly, maybe a mini-arc, or an introduction chapter to build on that idea. It's also what makes the main character a bit shallow, we see that he's really affected by his friends, but it seems a bit forced to me as a reader that he is obliged to do whatever his friends say, so maybe add a scene from before he was isikaied, and a short scene where he lost all his comforts and was bullied (that's another thing, it was mentioned that he was bullied and then they all went to the inner sect, but it's presented in such a matter of fact way it seems like the MC just tacked it on)..
Just a few suggestions tho, all in all, it's a really good story. It really improves past that point, as the grammer seems to straighten out and the details seem less thrown out and more intertwined with the setting. The only other thing I'd probably want is a clearer explanation of the cultivation realms, because it's a bit different from the classic foundation-core-nascent soul setul, but other than that really good.
