As a huge fan of Terry Pratchett, it makes me so happy finding writers who are also inspired by him and carrying on his legacy. This is a warm and laugh-out-loud read, with a host (heavenly and infernal) of excellent characters to hop between. The wry observations, humor, and characters have me eager to see where this goes, whether it’s an apocalypse or finding homes for the used books in Granny’s bookstore (or both!)

Essentially it’s a cozy family slice of life story with a fun demonic twist
Incredible writing, you will have to read through to appreciate it :)
Don’t dismiss this book and ignore the 1 star reviews by people who have barely read this masterpiece
It’s an amazing story that is funny, realistic, and downright interesting in its storytelling. A page turner and definitely a book I’d recommend that doesn’t have any major cliches.

I can’t stop laughing at this book.  From the opening scenes to shopping at the mall, it is non-stop laughs as these two demons get hopelessly enmeshed in mortal life.
Dont know how to drive?   Let the SUV do it.  Haunted house on the market for cheap?  We’ll take it.
Even the forces of heaven won’t keep these demons from being great parents.

Well, this story is just an absolute delight! I found it through an ad and couldn’t be happier that I decided to give it a read.
STYLE: The flow, pacing, word choice for characters, and all the little nuances that make up a great writing style are here. Each character has their unique speaking habits and the author shows that. While reading I couldn’t help but look at how our two guardian demons would speak- because, when making deals with devils, what is said is quite important! It was a joyful experience reading as each character is given their distinctive voice through the writing. It is definitely among some of the best I’ve read here on RR.
STORY: The story takes an interesting take with angels and demons their war and the resulting life that came after. It builds a world that has breathing room for the author to construct, play, and expand on.  It introduces interesting characters and locations that provide for a pleasurable read. It truly does match the Devilishly Funny Romantic Comedy while grounding the characters with aspects that readers can connect to.
GRAMMAR: There was very little to be seen as I would not know had I not read the comments and author notes in a chapter. The newest chapter I read (Chapter 26) had a minor one that another reader pointed out. These were truly small ones too barely noticeable so far; as the author seems to be on top of making edits when any errors are pointed out.
CHARACTERS: Now this I'm finding hard to write about without spoiling as I think it's well worth discovering the characters as you read yourself. The characters are each unique as people tend to be. Their mannerisms, speaking habits, and how they interact with different characters are well-written. The characters have their histories, histories seeing as two of our main characters are demons, that define who they are and who they used to be. It isn't dumped on readers like a bucket of water but rather given us in nice tea cups to enjoy sipping from. Keeping in min

The story promises Delightful and it delivers it perfectly. From quirky characters to misunderstandings and good character development.
My only wish is that it would publish faster. But good things take their time.
Everything else is mentioned in other reviews and the description. So I didn't want to spoiler anything.

Loving it! Very Pratchet, very Douglas Adams. Well fleshed out characters, some very familiar tropes that fit together neatly. Exactly what I was in the mood for when I was looking around! Why the hell do reviews have to be 50 words long? I get it, it’s some form of demonic torture developed to break up the other torture!

This reads like Neil Gaiman, and I’m very happy about it. The characters are lovely, and I want to be friends with all of them. The world-building is wonderful, and the narration is always funny. I really love all the insights into how heaven and hell work, it’s super cool! Keep up the good work!
