- MrEvilFriesRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5While it has the elements of litrpg, progression and cultivation I always like in these kinds of stories, the author brings their own unique parts that make it an entertaining story. I'm loving that despite his birthright Kal is still his own nuanced character, rather than some raging beserker, all the times we've seen this wrath have been quite justified in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing how he gets stronger and learning more about the world.
Thanks for the chapters! :) - ShadowKnight6992Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5The grammar is wonderful and easy to understand, but please chop up the blocks of words, it’s easy to understand what’s going on but really difficult to read it.
the Mc and side characters are wonderful, except at the beginning the Mc kept sharing what seems to be very personal data about his class (I know) and skills and seemed naive but you kind of forgot about it later on when the fighting started, the side characters are very good though and I like how they don’t have the standard classes and are very unique.
the plot so far is interesting, it’s not right out there and it’s still being built, but you can clearly see which direction it’s leaning towards,
Which is the side with the gods being dicks and manipulating everything, but 10/10 I would fight them.
But all together really good read and I’m sad I caught up 4.8/5 - _caffeine_man_Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5its a little hard to read (could also be a me problem idk) but otherwise a nice story that is almost like a fantasy doom litrpg. I really hope you flesh out the world and skill forging a little more. otherwise its pretty good, the status is not a giant blue box so thats a plus. keep it up author
- Discount_TacocatRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Starting this book I thought it was going to be a underdog to hero but as I kept reading I realized that was not going to be the case. Each sliver of information weaved the story in a way where you could feel the determination within the MC. Even though he may have been born with benefits that others would not even be able to dream of, he would have been a husk and dead within minutes if he did not deserve to have this power. The journey is not an easy one. He is tiptoeing between death and living every single time he fights. If you're interested in a weak to strong story this is an amazing one to read. There are some parts that can be written a little bit better as the start is really strong. The closer to the middle it starts to get more confusing and harder to understand. Plot points come out of nowhere information's thrown at you without you really being able to do anything about it. Closer to where I'm reading right now to started to pick up again in a lot of that information. We are now starting to understand in the story is progressing. I do believe it's a very good read as long as you can get through the more mediocre bits at the middle . The start and current spot within the story I find very enjoyable. Anyone that is wishing to read I recommend picking this up.
- MulBe039Royal Road★★ 2.0What can I say.
There is a story somewhere in there, and beyond the fact that the MC is a pretty unbelievable Murderhobo based on his origin story, it is probably even halfway decent.
However, someone needs to help the author with proofreading. There are CONSTANTLY words missing or replaced with something similar-sounding by a spellchecker.
At least three to four instances of this per chapter.
Beyond that, there are some very obvious mistakes and incorrect use of the english language. I'm not a native speaker myself, but I still find myself seriously annoyed by the obvious mistakes as they are extremely immersion-breaking.
Beyond that, about 80% of the story are just characters deliberating about which skills they could pick and where they could spend their points, and then proceeding to kill a bunch of things.
Yes, the MC is hurt in his fights, but there are never any real setbacks or failures or even any real stakes. It's just: and then I murdered everything standing in my way, because I am the ultimate Murderer and that is what I do. Always.
Oh and also, the story turned multi-POV at some point. Not some intermittend chapters showing the MC from different POVs to underscore stuff, but entirely separate plotlines. Just something I personally really don't care for, but perhaps something to keep in mind as well - S1qwemRoyal Road★★ 2.0I couldn’t get past the page long paragraph blocks, it’s completely unreadable for me. The early chapters desperately need an editing pass or rewrite. If you can get past that, there’s hope for growth, but unfortunately for such a long work the early chapters were a brick wall I could not get past.
