Shanties of the Sea, the Stars and Everything In Between

Description
This is a collection of most of my standalone short stories. While all of these stories are standalone, some might take place within the setting of one of my other stories. We'll see how it goes.
All short stories will be posted when they are complete, in separate volumes.
This is just a little side project for when I need a break from my main writing, or just want to experiment with styles, themes, characters etc. Therefore I won't have any schedule. Suddenly, a new story appears!
Also, any and all genres may apply.
Story 1-The Last Day of Millbrook[Horror, Fantasy, Graphic, Tragedy]: A short, violent story about surviving against all odds in the midst of tragedy.
Story 2-Adrift on Glass: The Logs of Captain Iora Welles[Psychological horror, Fantasy, Maritime]: The Captain's logs of an expedition into uncharted waters, showing the deteriorating psyche of the crew as they are stranded in unaturally still waters as clear as glass.
Story 3-The Long Meal[Sci-Fi]: The story of a father preparing to see his daughter again after many years for him, merely a year for her.

- MajidRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0High fantasy meets psychological horror.
How a short story should be, evocative, concise, building a world with few words and hitting hard.
Great pacing, use of tension, visual and other sensory cues.
We can intuit the unique personality of each character by their actions.
Makes you want to read more of the author. - Stoney TaterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm really enjoying this so far. Millbrook starts with an action sequence without bogging things down with exposition right out of the gate. It feels confusing and frightening. I don't know what these are and neither does the protagonist. The visuals are engaging as is the pacing. Excited to see where this leads!
