Description

A lost and terrified Buneary stumbles into the Ruins of Alph, and in his desperation, calls upon forces beyond his understanding for help. What appears is a girl that he suspects might be human, though he isn't too sure, because Broccoli Bunch has strange powers and the ears and heart of a gentle lopunny. They join forces, determined to become stronger in a world of strange pokemon and stranger friends, where old mysteries need uncovering and new enemies need to be pounded into the dirt.Chaos Cuddles Cauliflower (Choco to his friends) isn't going to end as just some ordinary buneary. He's determined to get to the top, one hop, skip, and bounce at a time!

This is a side story to my Original fiction storyCinnamon Bun! No knowledge of Cinnamon Bun is necessary to enjoy this one. The story never follows Broccoli's POV, and is instead written from the perspective of the people and pokemon she meets and befriends along her journey!Expect:- Lots of cute moments- Some silliness- A few nail-biting fights for love and friendship!

Characters (6/5) - Everyone's favorite bun, plus new bun friends! And even a few humans too! Broccoli alone could carry a story, but of course she will naturally hug, befriend, and be kind to anything that moves, unless it is a bad guy (bad guys get spades to the face).
Style (6/5) - Warm fuzzies guaranteed! If you've read Cinnamon Bun, this has a similar fun, adventurous, and exciting atmosphere.  And of course the sentences ooze with personality and everything feels alive and sucks you right into the story.
Story (5/5) - There's always a subplotline or objective and it's always interesting. Having a wonderful personality like Broccoli lets her easily sort out potentially-annoying misunderstandings, connecting with both person and bun alike! Which leaves more screentime for fun adventures and bonding moments.
Grammar (5/5) - sentence structures are pristine. It is apparent that the author fixes any reported edits, because at this point it is pretty much immaculate.
    Series Sequence info:
Knowledge of Cinnamon Bun is 100% NOT necessary to enjoy this story. This story is excellent in its own right!
You could read this first and then be intrigued enough to check out Cinnamon Bun, or you could read Cinnamon Bun firsr and enjoy this as a side story
Nothing spoiler-y happens, just very occasional small moments that you might enjoy even more if you knew Broccoli's history.  Broccoli does most of her personal growth in Cinnamon Bun, whereas this story focuses more on her interaction with pokemon and the pokemon world.
However, if you already read and loved Cinnamon Bun, then you absolutely NEED to read this!

I binged all of the initial release chapters, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
As a lover of Pokémon stories, I generally pick up anything that I see has a Pokémon/ball on its cover.
Rare is the story with an Isekai theme put together with an MC who has no clue what Pokémon are.
I look forward to readying more of how RavensDagger meshes their own original Magic system with the Pokémon Type energy system.
The one small critique I have is in that Buneary never seems to so much as think of his family again after he leaves with Broccoli.

You really don't need to be into pokemon to enjoy this story.  This is a story for people who enjoy wholesome character dynamics between endearing characters.  It's a story about cute characters working hard to achieve their dreams.  It's about characters who want to be acknowledged and accepted.  It's about friendship and found family.  So if any of that appeals to you, do yourself a favor and give it a try, whether or not pokemon is your cup of tea.  The pokemon setting is just the medium for a wholesome, adorable story (and it's honestly a fantastic medium for it).

I don’t… I don’t understand. I’m not a friendly, fluffy sort of person. But no matter what story of RavensDagger’s I start reading, I’m inevitably sucked in by the fuzzy-wuzziness. This story, much like Cinnamon Bun - the story our heroine is originally from - is impossible to put down. It’s engagingly written, hilarious, and chock-full of so much wholesome cuteness that you’ll want to invest in an insulin pump after a chapter or two. Every time I read something involving Broccoli, I feel a huge dumb grin start spreading by the end of the chapter and I love it. If there were more people like RD’s protagonists in the world, it would be a much better place.
Wholeheartedly recommended, and remember - friendship is magic.

This is my first pokemon story/experience. What a delightful intro to the genre!
As a Broccoli Bunch lover, this story is just more gooey yumminess with a hug on top. I LOVE the start of her relationships best, so this is a wonderful new set of stories. The addition of pokemon level thinking offers a great context for RavensDagger make their magic.
    Pure happiness.

I will preface this critique by saying that I truly enjoy reading this project, and I do not intend for this to be anything but productive. I write from the perspective from an Aro/Ace man who enjoys reading romance stories whenever I can get my hands on them. I'll cut to the chase, I dislike how men are written in this book.
In a story very uninterested in exploring romance with it's female cast of main characters, of the three male (not counting sage) POV's that we've seen, two of them (Bugsy and Choco) are extremely interested in romance, and are (as of me writing this) the only characters who are. That isn't necessarily a bad thing on it's own, but it becomes an issue for me when it's implied that they are interested in romance solely because they're boys (consider lines like 'boy sickness'), and thus that by being a boy, you must care more about romance as a consequence. This is something that is deeply antithetical to my existence as someone who identifies as both Male and Aromantic. I would've just passed it by, but the Whitney POV really annoyed me. I know that she is *supposed* to be petulant, but her utter dismissiveness on gender alone is a character flaw, and I get a horrible feeling that it will not be treated as such.
I guess what I want to say is, In this story, being a man feels like a problem to overcome, when it should just be a fact about who you are. I really don't think that's what you're going for, but I hope this helps people feel included anyway.
