Description

Humans Must Adapt is a First Person's POV story from the eyes of a slightly crazy and totally not masochistic MC. The setting takes place on a copy of Earth with a different name. A cataclysmic event causes native humans to be usurped from their natural place at the top of the food chain. Time has now passed, and Humans have managed to settle themselves into mediocrity. But this is not enough.Note: I don't plan on including sexual content. The MC won't have an end-game goal right from the start. Feedback is welcomed.  The MC is an "unconventional" Tamer. You'll start reading and enjoy the same things everyone else did. Humours situations, with deadpan expressions. Interesting pets and characters. There are plots, lots of action, and while the MC gets dragged in here and there, the world does not revolve around him.
Here's something else though. He's not evil or a murderhobo, or a cold blooded psychopath. No ... he's actually insane, as in thinking very differently from the norm.
It's hard to notice because the hilarious effects often distract from it, but the author manages to keep him consistent across the many chapters.
Could it be better? Sure. More spotlight time for the other characters, maybe adding a permanent sidekick/partner, but I feel it still deserves 5/5 because that MC is so well done.

our mc is technically insane, it is described through the series time and time again and is one of the main points of the series. it's not all bad, as he still appears somewhat normal. but you do notice it when mc takes casually to situations that would appear somewhat abnormal. that combined with his inherit naivity makes mc shrug dangerous situations through sheer indifference and lack of common sense, which makes it hilarious. he makes stupid impulsive decisions that end up being genius, and he sounds ridiculously naive and clueless. like, when people DO go after him, the only reason he does survive is DUE to his insanity, and not despite of it. it reminds me of the pyro from tf2.

So imagine you are a functional crazy person. Single-minded. Zero social skills. And hyper-focused on the only thing that matters. Your pet rock.
But that's all fine. The world is almost as weird.
Well. That's what this story is. A story in a crazy world from the first-person perspective of a crazy person.
Grammer. Style, world-building, characters. Humor. Everything is excellent.
At least through the perspective of the MC
And that is what the author has done the absolute best work ever on. Also where you can complain about some things in. Since after all. A single perspective does not see all. Who would have thought Right?
All faults (areas to complain at) are factors in the authors writing from first person perspective of a mad man.
We truly are seeing the world through. And only through. The perspective of our crazy MC. So what say you happens In a room full of the strongest people on the world? Hey is that a rock!!!!
Either way. The style/perspective thing is a little jarring and takes time to smooth out.
My advice. Start reading and let yourself have fun. Because fun is something this novel can give in spades.
A flawless piece of work. And excellent use of first-person perspective.

To be honest, I was expecting something different when I read the title of the novel. To be honest, I was expecting an edgy MC trapped in a place where a rock was his only companion, not a crazy yet functional psychopath. Even though he knows he is crazy, since he works, no one seems to care much, not even his family. The novels follow him mainly, and it is from his perspective most of the time. He starts weak but gains strength fairly quickly, and since he has plot armor, he survives encounters that would leave a sane person scarred, and yet he seems to try to make up for it. Don't expect romance in this novel; it's mostly about survival and the MC's dissatisfaction with what's going on.We dont get too many characters since the story is centered around the MC, and the spotlight only seems to shine with his tamed beast and some recurring side characters when necessary; however, they get depth later on.There is not a lot of world-building or information dumps; at least there is not a lot—a little bit of lore here and there—but otherwise, the world is just what the MC sees most of the time. There might be a few grammatical errors here and there, but the author is quick to fix them, so there is no problem.Overall, I like this novel a lot, and I would recommend it.

I don't think I can express how fun this is to read. The main character is a little unhinged, in some of the best ways. The writing consistently shows the world from the MC's perspective, makes you appreciate things from new angles.
I just think it's neat, and that you should try it. At least a couple dozen chapters.

Wow, this is one of the best tamer novels I read, the mc is very unique, very tough and very insane. I like the humor, nice power system and interesting pets. I recommend it even to those who don't read much tamer novels. It also made me realize that lighthearted brutality is a thing.

Just plain fun silliness in a very well written Litrpg setting.  MC's insanity makes it's mark felt all around him.  Reminds me of Calvin and Hobbs comics, where reality and fantasy strongly interact.  Hope this one keeps going for a LONG time, and I highly reccomend it for people that enjoy the general insanity of life.

Combining many tropes from traditional xania and web novel system-based novels, this story creates a nostalgic yet exciting atmosphere surrounding its protagonist. Embracing odd tropes, insanity, and mixing and matching everything that makes the system web novel genre amazing, I'm quite a big fan of this story.
The Powerleveling systems are multifaced and there are a few of them running at once.
The main character is deliciously insane, but like in the best of ways. Even better, this is portrayed in a very effective show not tell atmosphere.
    Rock.

I'll be honest, I did not expect much, I just wanted to read something before going to bed.
    I loved it.
It was great. I love the main character, who is definitely completely insane.... But more of a True Neutral rather than Chaotic. He kind of get the social conventions....But not really.
I love the spin on the usual Tamer stories.
Great work, hope you continue that story!
