Description

Earth gets hit by demons and a System apocalypse, and the man his colleagues knew as Mike gets killed.

Instead of staying dead, he is reborn as Perun, a newborn godling participating in the mysterious Game of the Gods.

In the savage world of Glenhalla, where civilization begins at a stone-age tech level and every advantage has to be clawed out of mud, blood, and chaos.

His task sounds simple enough: find his chosen people, the Hipponians, keep them alive, build a civilization, crush his enemies, ally with other gods and be part of the last pantheon standing.

The Hipponians are stubborn, militaristic hippo-folk with a talent for excessive force and an alarming ability to break fragile things with their mitten-like fingers.

To survive the Game of Gods, Perun must tame beasts, fight monsters, outbuild rival tribes, navigate divine politics, and help forge the last pantheon standing.

A progression fantasy about civilization-building, war logistics, excessive force, and the thin red line between comedy and catastrophe.

Characters like Kurinov really carry the story with how intense and funny they are at the same time.
Sometimes the tone shifts a bit wildly between serious and comedic, but honestly it mostly adds to the charm.
Overall, a super unique and entertaining progression fantasy with great worldbuilding and constant action 🚀🔥
