Description

The Planar Lords took everything from him. He intends to return the favor. Leo had been looking forward to the day he finally became old enough to leave his home world since picking up his first sword. With years of rigorous survival and combat training at his back, he was going to follow in his parents’ footsteps, get the girl, and become the most famous Cartographer the planarverse had ever seen. Right up until the Planar Lords decided to collapse his home plane and kill everyone in it. Left with nothing more than some nonsensical dying words and a mysterious box hiding a never-before-seen power, Leo’s journey across the infinite planes of existence starts off a little differently than how he’d always imagined. Because the Planar Lords aren’t planning to stop at the death of only one world in order to stay in power. Leo’s world might not have been the first to fall at their hands. But he plans to make it the last. Release Schedule: 5 Chapters a week Monday-Friday, potentially with a few bonus chapters here and there. What to Expect: [+] Weak to Strongest (slow burn). This book has captured my attention as only a few have. The author always does amazing work, and I hope they always continue writing. I love every single story they write, but I think this one is going to be my favorite. The magic system is really interestingIt’s not far enough for me to say about the character development yet, so I won’t make any guesses as to that.I love the worldbuilding concept, and I wish there were more stories that went this in-depth with their world. The many different “biomes / regions” is a very interesting concept, and I’m looking forward to see where it goes.

Very good story so far. I like the ability to travel planes, our young MC should find lots of interesting places to visit. He has a long term goal and a plan to get stronger so the story has a planned direction, and this author has several other good stories, so I have faith in a good, long story to read.

Well written prose with a realistic MC. I'm enjoying the power system and can't wait to see himuse the gem in the box.The fight scenes have been well described so far. No instances or plot armor or anything like that. So far, its just a really solid novel.

So far enjoying the story, i like the methods used to backfill the details im ways that so far havent felt contrived. Conversations and memories doing the work setting up the MC to move forward in a purposeful way. Looking forward to the first growth milestone, which was presented early, so we the readers know what the current target is. The only 'gripe' would be the level of trauma the story started with, but it made for a good launchpad, the mc has had moments brushing against the repercussions, so it should develope well as the tale continues. Having read another work by this author im confident in saying the tone will remain consistent as the story grows, so if you dont vibe with it im the first 10 chapters, sorry, its not gonna change, if you are good with it, then happy news, its not gonna change. Hopefully enough positives will provide a buffer before the rank tankers realize that a star is rising from the depths and cast spells of disparagement and ridicule into the ether. The dark forces seem to hold to much power and can alter the whims of algorythm beyond mortal ken. It is up to you, kind reader,as it is up to me, and those others to raise the barriers against such foul arts.

It's still a bit early on in the plot to give a full judgement, but I like where the story is heading.
I also like the worldbuilding, it allows for a lot of unique locations, powers, and circumstances.
Cultivation has taken a bit of a backseat so far, which is honestly more of my preference. It's yet to be the focus of the story, as it's more about experiences so far.
Definitely a lot of action and changes in scenery, to the point that the world and magic system explanations are trickle fed to us along the way. Still a lot of mysteries to uncover.
Will see where the story goes!

I'm already hooked on this story and can't wait to see where it goes. The reader is instantly immersed in unique worldbuilding and a story that you can't help but become invested in. I'm a sucker for the idea of countless fantastical planes for our MC to discover. There are so many things I'm dying to know about the world and the abilities that exist!I really enjoy the writing style and the humor that's woven in (the chapter titles never fail to make me laugh). The pacing is excellent and keeps the reader eager to see what situation our MC will find himself in next. I also have a love/hate relationship with the author's perfectly timed cliffhangers. The author excels at writing relatable main characters and character dynamics that feel natural. (I particularly love the MC's relationship with his father in the beginning). I'm excited to see how Leo grows throughout the series (both in power and as a person) as he takes on a seemingly impossible task.Grammar/language is strong and the author uses a wide yet accessible vocabulary. The few small mistakes I saw were quickly addressed by the author.Overall, I highly recommend this story and will definitely be sharing it with others!

Excellent story so far.   The main character, Leo, is very interesting and has so many changes to deal with quickly while trying to just stay alive.   The book gets very interesting and exciting very quickly and each chapter leaves you wanting for more information.   What is in the box?   Who left the gem?   Where are the missing people?   Why is level 20 so import ?    Who really is a friend or foe?    What is really happening and why?  The author writes well and the story line is very interesting to the point that I look forward to reading the next chapter when available.   I am hooked and would definitely purchase if published.   I am also really looking forward to see Leo’s progression as time goes on and see how his strengths and “powers” evolve.    One would believe he will be very powerful based upon his parents and training.  I do not wants to say too much and give away too much information  other than if you have time, give this a try as it is very good, starts quickly, and keeps moving.   Two thumbs up or in this case, I give the book a full five star rating.   Can’t wait for the next chapter!

As the title says, this story is unique in a number of ways. The worldbuilding and the power progression in particular are both intuitive and easy to picture but also quite different from anything I've seen before. And both are well-implemented as well.
This is also one of the only stories I've seen where the MC is the one following the normal progression path while his companion/sidekick is the one with the crazy mutated soul and OP potential. It looks like something that the MC could eventually learn to do as well, but currently it's blowing his mind and it's so fun to watch!
    Definitely give it a try!

So far this book has been insanely good and one of my favorites. I love the concept of this book and I am excited for what it'll bring in the future. Wizardly Dude is a wonderful author, and I believe this is gonna be another one of his many great books.

I saw a few authors plugging this book before I realized that it was from the same author as The Eternal Assasin. I have loved that story and I am loving this one so far as well. WD has a nice balance of action to exposition. The author also does a great job of keeping things appropriately difficult for the MC, which I appreciate. I have already seen a number of differences between this and The Eternal Assasin, but I am especially looking forward to seeing more of this world as the story unfolds. I think the author has set the stage for some great world building and unique skills. Thanks for the great work, and I am looking forward to many more stories(I will probably start explorers of Edregon next.)
