Description

Unbeknownst to her, Zalia is brought to the snowy north of another world containing magic, classes and levels. A world where elementals are stirring, mysterious rituals are appearing and a war wages.

Read through as Zalia deals with beasts and myths on her path to survive and explore harsh environs, maybe even ranking up along the way. A hunter and herbalist, she has the tools needed to survive and thrive in a new world of magic and danger.

What to expect:

Some good old fantasy themes.

Plenty of hunting and plenty of herbalism but not in a way that's going to drag down or slow the story with specifics.

For the most part, lone hunter style character but others will obviously be a part of the story too.

DO NOT EXPECT:

Harem.

Heavily described sexual content.

Some times it run too fast, but great novel. Interesting system of leveling up, great charakters and companions, worlds tavels.  Main protagonist has unique chatisma and down to eart (dirt) thiking, want to be left alone by people (companions are animals). Maybe autor can add more of basic survivals techniques to begining this novel.

    Bravo! — I love it.
You've managed to brew up a delightfully entertaining softness to an often extermely hard-edged genre.
Your Herbal Magic system is a little bit hard to grasp — Follow? Of-course, magic is magic so to speak and in some sense is only contained by our intuitive imagination. However, you will find that the magical 'wisdom' traditions that we've half-joinety inherited from the ancients have a recipe, a coherent, interweaving  rhythm and rhyme to their embrace of the natural mysteries of magic.
For, example, the way the herbs jump in potency in response to the characters' progression kind of just hangs out-there. You could perhaps crystals the concept and add extra weight to the mechanic by adding an aging component to the herbs. Just like a aged bottle of brandy, a hundred year old ginseng root is much more potent then a year old babe. Your herbal rituals bring to mind the Native American medicine wheels, which admittedly I've got my own take on. In short, like with Feng Shui each herb in a medicine wheel correlates with the direction that it is paced and represents. In other words, it exhibits a particular range of correspond with the propertied characteristics of the direction in which it is place.
Just wanted to give you some hopefully inspiring food for thought.
May the Muse guide you pen towards ever greater mastery and mischief! I couldn't help it — those cats of yours forced my hand to add the last part.
Keep up the great work and own that you have brought some light joy and novelty to my heart. Thanks for that —

    Top-notch LitRPG!
For those of you looking for a new world to dive into, if you enjoy LitRPG / Isekai / Progression, you'll love this. Well-written, great MC, excellent wit, solid action scenes, and world-building that'll give you goosebumps.
The hunter/druid perspective is superbly well done. Definitely give this a read!
One comment: I almost gave this up within the first few chapters. The author was finding their tone and the early chapters read a bit dry (isekai / magic happens but lacking a bit of wonder). BUT if you get through those, the story quickly picks up pace and turns into a deeply engaging LitRPG with magic that feels like magic should.
I thoroughly recommend this and will reread it as soon as the books are released!

It's really well written. I like the MC and her companion and how they are growing. The system is detailed while being fairly light at the same time. It's a good combo that scratched my crunchy itch without going overboard. The story line is moving smoothly and the pacing is nice as well as the relationships. There are enough long term threads to keep the interest without feeling too much life a cliffhanger. Looking forward to seeing how she faces this new challenge.

    Super recomendo!

Honestly I have read many books and this is the second book that I feel like reviewing and giving a rating for...
certainly some parts of the story seems to digress a bit but overall there is a lot of hunting and herbalism as the title is about...
I'm not very good with reviewing stuff as I mostly stay in the background, so as much as I want to summarize what I have read it not possible (hehe)....

Hey, this book is definitely one of my favorites and therefore i have given it full 5 Stars! The main character is absolutely relatable and her animal companion is so cute (without wanting to spoil anything;) . It has a similar progression as HWFWM but different enough and with a unique world setting to make it absolutely fascinating!
It has my full recommendation. Enjoy reading it!

    Overall Score
It's a different brand of LitRPG that doesn't focus as much on large battles but on a more slow paced every day sort if action of someone who just wants to do their own thing and be left alone. It definitely gives it a flow that sets it apart in a good way.
    Style Score
The style us refreshingly simple as it follows a character who finds herself in a new world with fantastic abilities but aims to live a simple life. My biggest personal issue which is why it's only 4.5 is the sections where the skills and classes level multiple times at once. The way it's listed gets repetitive and feels excessive when it can probably be summarized.
    Story Score.
The story is fun and light hearted and easily makes you want to follow the protagonist as she continues to make a way for herself in the new world.
    Grammar Score
I personally didn't notice anything sticking out which speaks volumes. I was more interested in reading to pay attention to mistakes if there were any.
    Character Score.
This too I gave a 4.5 stars for so far. The protagonist is a bit of a lone wolf which can at times make them very hard to like, and they easily can become flat characters. While this has turned me away from other series in the past, the author handles Zalia's isolationist tendencies with more poise. While she can feel flat, she isn't unlikable. As she interacts with others she handles the situations well. The first other character she meets is also very... interesting.
All together it's a good read that I would recommend, and it has earned my follow.

    Overall Score
It's a fun setting, not overly complicated or with any extreme physics, easy to follow along and easy to like. The storyline is fairly typical for the genre, but done in a fresh way with fun and likeable characters and events.
While it took a little to find its legs and creativity (or better said, to decide where it wanted to go), from about mid-book 1 forward it has been smooth sailing.
    Enjoyable read with enjoyable characters.
    Style Score
Said in the best way possible, it's a simple style.
Not overly verbose, not filled with boring 50-page descriptions of the correct shape of a leaf, not overly esoteric, the good guys are good guys, the bad guys are bad guys, and frosty fluffy murder kittens are frosty fluffy murder kittens.
    Story Score
It carefully and gracefully skirts the issue most Isekais have with the elements that show up in it. The Intro arc is done in a believable manner where the MC is neither a complete idiot nor an instant genius, the School arc doesn't devolve into High School Drama TM, the Dungeon arc doesn't automatically come with instructions nor do the NPC's use readily predictable walking patterns.
The inicial OP'ness of the MC is believably explain in-universe and doesn't last forever.
In short, while it does feel like D&D, it does not feel like an MMO, in the best possible way.
    Grammar Score
Apart from the expected auto-correct mistakes, things seem to be fine. Nothing over-complicated or hard to follow, nothing fluffed up just for the word count, no weird pov changes or first person to third person shifts and no huge blocks of text where you lose track of who's where.
    Character Score
While the NPC's do feel extremely generic sometimes, the main characters are well built and (most importantly) believable as people / pets.
The MC is a loner without being cripplingly shy, rather by choice than any particular defect, good at her strengths but not overwhelmingly so, with weaknesses but not debilitating ones.
Also, and I count this as

It is refreshing to have a protagonist that is an introvert, doubly so when the introvert isn’t also arrogant selfish and/or villainous. Or that the introvert isn’t also meek and powerless. So yeah… nice change of pace to show the MC grow into their powers but not be OP nor need to be the charismatic leader of a group.
The plot took some turns I didn’t see coming - nice to be surprised even though I’d have preferred some other plot twists… fun to see where the author takes the story next.
