Description

Azolo was the greatest wizard who ever lived. They called him the God of Magic reborn. He called that bull. When he died, he expected paradise. Instead, his own god tore out his soul, stole his name, and claimed the title of the one true God of Magic. Now, Azolo’s been given a second chance, by the one god everyone else ignores. The God of Strength. The God of Iron. The patron of sweat, scars, and stubborn bastards. Reborn in a body with no mana and no hope, Azolo must rebuild everything he once was, one aching muscle at a time. The world calls it heresy. He calls it payback. He once built miracles with his mind. Now, he’ll use his fist to break them. Because if mind over matter failed him in his first life… then this time, might makes right. WHAT TO EXPECT I Cast Fistis a cozy-chaotic, slow-burn progression fantasy with: a once-legendary wizard growing up again from infancy progression that is earned magical tattoos, ancient secrets, and handcrafted enchantments early fights that are funny, messy, and full of heart battles that grow more dramatic, powerful, and awe-inspiring as he matures broken magical items rebuilt into incredible tools blatant disregard for what some might consider safe enchanting scrolls, charms, and inventions used in clever, surprising ways warm friendships, a culture that accepts reincarnation as normal, and dungeon adventures and a main character who will one day punch his way into the heavens 1.5k+ word chapters releasing m/w/f.

This story is thoughtful and fun.  Main character is likable.  And for some reason I wanted to go do some proper form push-ups after reading a chapter.  The love for a reincarnated child seems a little far fetched, but the author gave about as a good a rationalization as possible.

This is a fun read. Well deserved of a place in the rising stars. The story is well written, with very few typos, and the grammar and language is solid.Good world building, most of the characters and their interactions are well thought out and well considered with their own motivations. My only criticism is some of the chapters meander a bit, both inter and intra chapter. Hopefully it will become a book and an editor can take a pass over and just tighten the story weaving.Good work, keep it up.

This story is a great slo burn story, about the greatest mage ever who gets betrayed by the god of magic but gets saved by the god of iron(aka working out), he then gets reincarnated into a manacles body and goes down the path of a martial artists. Note: that this is an extremely slow burn story so if you like quick development this might not be for you

First of all, I want to give props to the author on writing this plot. I absolutely ate it up, the pacing was good and I was (and am) loving the characters in this story.
Also, the main character is very likeable and his reasoning with most stuff makes a lot of sense. I like that he's a genuinely good guy too. Something I thought was exceptional was the way the author wrote the discrepancy between the mind versus the age of the body,
And how we see that his child-mind is effecting the clarity of his thoughts. It's subtle but once it's brought to the spotlight, you can see it. Like when he tattoos his eyes when could've waited
One other thing that I'm not sure on for the actual pros (not content itself, plot is amazing)
The author uses the word such as "quiet" a lot and it seems like there are some sections where AI, or something adjacent, has been blended with he authors actual sentences to make the writing for descriptions more colorful. That writing typically shows up at the end of larger paragraphs describing something. I'm not entirely sure if the authors doing this, might just be the authors style. Even with that, I'm enjoying the read and I'm typically the kind of person who would drop a book from ai stuff. So I hope that says a lot about the quality of the plot. Its very, very good. Please read it. And, if I'm wrong (about the writing not being 100% originally human) I'm sorry.

This story is a great read with a refreshing twist on familiar storylines. The author does an excellent job pulling you in and making the MC’s growth engaging to follow. One of the most interesting aspects is the MC’s transition from a mana-based build to a martial-focused path, enhanced through enchantments and even divine assistance. On top of that, the author has created a fun and well-rounded cast of characters whose interactions help keep the story entertaining and interesting.

I may have received some spoilers for this series, and I know there is some good stuff to look forwards to. I won't give anything away here though.
This one chapter gives you the premise of the story. Simple to understand in structure, but it can only hint at its scale; his mission is to take down a god. And he must do it without magic. How would you even begin such a Herculean task? Eating right and working out would only take you so far. I'll leave it to your imagination.
It's also interesting that it hints as to the dynamics of the gods; introducing two: the (false) god of magic, seemingly amongst the most powerful, poised to overthrow the whole Pantheon if left to his devices; and the god of Iron, unpopular, but hard-working and humble. The reliable workhorse, that doesn't bother himself with fancy titles, popularity, or pretension. On the lower rungs of godhood, and an interesting foil to the other, opposite in many ways; power, attitude, and work ethic.
I appreciate how it tells you what to expect out of the gate, setting the stage in one fell swoop. I'm looking forward to see how it develops, both in its characters and plots.

    I came from Yellow Jacket-phenomenal.
This story is the lighter? side I needed to balance that deepness. The characters and story are rich and fulfilling. Personable MC. Needed tropes but not too far. Great balance and flow. READ IT! Having to put more words is dumb. I quit. Still? Really?

This is a well written story, slow burn, but very pleasing. It knows precisely the journey it intends to take, and intends to truly enjoy taking it.
It's one of the better mature reincarnators I've seen, with a great deal of heart and wisdom to it. It's almost a refuge of sorts, much like Super Supportive, and has the developed secondary cast to show for it.
Highly recommended, I'm pleased to have this on my backlog.

If you're like me, and you love it when stories explore their power systems, then this is the one for you! Not only does our MC get to learn about the unfamiliar power system of melee fighters in his world, he also uses his knowledge as a former Archwizard to teach someone magic from the ground up. So you get two for one!
The core concept of this story is one that I haven't seen before, and the world, while taking some tropes from other stories, is unique enough to be interesting. The disconnect between what the MC knows and how the world has changed since his death adds another layer of intrigue.
The only "bad" thing about this story is that there are sections where you really realize the need for an editor. Sometimes words are misspelled or missing, or characters get mentioned by the MC's POV narration before they've been introduced to him (I assume that's because sections of the story got moved around?).
That being said, these things happen rarely enough to not take away any of my enjoyment of the story. The author is very good at setting a scene, and does it quite often, which can make the story feel a bit slow at times. But it also draws you in, which is a good trade-off in my opinion.
Lastly, the characters are great, and they have lots of, well, character. Especially the supporting cast. The current antagonists are a bit one-note at the moment, but that's fine for the point the story is at, and I'm sure it will change in the future.
All in all, lots of potential here.

This is a different take on a reincarnation arc than I’ve seen before, and leverages concepts from LitRPG and System-based fictions while still managing to be different and distinct.
There are definitely parts that feel like they should be implausible and break my suspension of disbelief, but the writing is solid enough that I just keep reading and enjoying and only later do I think “wait, that shouldn’t have worked!”
The characters are well-fleshed and developed, and there are no 2-dimensional cardboard cutouts. If a character seems to be one of those, just keep reading and your impression will grow and change as our viewpoint character grows and learns.
There are some minor grammar and punctuation issues occasionally, but nothing worth quitting the story for.
I am thoroughly enjoying reading this fiction and my only true gripe is that I found it as it’s being written so have a distinct lack of a backlog to binge.
