Description
All of my life, the rich and powerful have done whatever they wanted and have gotten away with barely a slap on the wrist.
Dictators murder people by the thousands and live in luxury.
Corporate polluters taint the land, sea and air.
Corrupt politicians make decisions that harm millions just to line their pockets with gold.
In my entire life, I could count on one hand the times when a powerful person has actually seen justice for their crimes. They think they can do whatever they want because for them, there are no consequences. And for the most part, that's true. There are very few repercussions for the rich.
But something wrong happened.
Something that will incinerate the status quo like a monk on fire.
A... 'Miracle' has occurred...
I - an apathetic nihilist have received an un-godly power.
And with it, I will give the people of the world & myself -(but mostly myself)- what we all secretly crave for.
Catharsis through violence.
I will drown the corrupt in their own blood.

- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This short story unfortunately has the MC being a spoiled and immature trying over and over to confront her past except she's entirely unable to control herself at all. Sarah is one of those protagonists that is unstable and unable to think and act rationally, despite having numerous 'redos'. The conclusion only furthers pushes the envelope. It is written fine, but the character development and the competency of Sarah stings while the technical consideration of the tech opens other holes in the plot. Despite having an immature and petty MC who squanders the sci-fi tech as a form of personal therapy it is not a bad read. I just found Sarah's lashing out to be mildly frustrating.
