I like this xianxia Litrpg story. The MC is a very simple man with a great dream, to be an incredibly powerful cultivator. He is a man that cares for his friends and his village and wants them to prosper as well while he seeks to grow in this cultivation journey. I love the simplicity of his journey and he desires with the help of the system that he unlocked unto his world.

First and foremost, the main character is the reason for the five out of five star rating for me. I liked the lowly kind of feeling of the main character in comparison to the odds and the character’s reactions. They seem to be a very average person which really feels familiar and safe in a strange sort of way---like we already know them. The combination of their dialogue and description made them really relatable and helped the narrative and story flow very well (since I was already interested and invested in the character).
This is definitely a LitRPG world, so, if that is your thing, you are in good hands. The blue boxes are used really well, and I liked watching the progression of the main character in this different-feeling world than many other LitRPG worlds I’ve read. The gardening aspect was very interesting and gave it a different dynamic which worked for it.
There were no glaring grammatical errors that stopped my reading experience or anything and, as I mentioned, I really enjoyed the main character. This is a story that reads pleasantly along---I wasn’t falling off the edge of my seat or white-knuckling anything. I’m usually more for a faster pace, but, if you’re looking for a more meandering, enjoyable read, this is definitely it.

A wonderful story where our MC isn't suddenly thrust into the world of cultivation but treads softly into it. The MC is fitted with something special but it is camouflaged with the rest of the world. It feels rare that a story shows Qi deviation so early but it feels just right! It explains so much about why no one could normally just cultivate but rather needed a sect or a master. Here we have our MC being told not to rush and the early stages not being sped through rapidly.
I love a story with spirit beasts or beast companions. It gives the nostalgic Pokemon and Digimon enjoyers a fulfilled feeling.
If you are looking for a story to make you happy and can just brighten up your day- read this!
It's obviously just started but I can see so much potential.

A mortal hero in a system-cultivation hybrid world slowly grows in power on his quest to get to the top. I'm enjoying the premise so far, and it is an enjoyable, allbeit short read at the moment. Reviewing it at 5 starts because I believe in the potential! Come join the ride.

I'm a sucker for farming and progression novels, and this does both well. From the beginning, you're sucked into this world where everyone's on a mad dash race to become the most powerful after getting a system, and our relatable MC's no exception. You watch him go from a humble gardener to someone following the path of cultivation.
The novel strikes a balance between a slice-of-life fantasy and a progression novel, where everyday people can get cultivation skills in blacksmithing and carpentry, thus allowing a cozy novel where you can get that satisfying level-up vibe without it turning into a slaughter-fest. That's a nice vibe.
Want to know what encapsulates the spirit of this book? Consider the protagonist's spirit beast: a butterfly. Not a colossal, world-trekking leviathan, but a tiny, delicate butterfly. It might seem absurd, but the bonding between them transcends language barriers, blossoming into a wholesome, unique relationship that is bound to captivate you. It's not just 5-star worthy, it's priceless.
Let's delve into the aspects that make this novel:
The style is impeccable. The prose flows naturally, the protagonist's internal monologue feels familiar, and it's sprinkled with a brand of humor that is unobtrusive yet delightful. The grammar, crucial for maintaining immersion, is flawless. You won't be jolted out of the narrative by errors, ensuring an undisturbed reading experience.
The main character is likable and relatable, invoking an immediate connection that will have you cheering them on. The vibrant, distinctive dialogue guarantees you're engaging with fully realized characters, each with their unique personalities. Their dialogue isn't interchangable.
When it comes to the plot, this is an engaging progression novel. A man gains access to a system and dedicates himself to leveling up. Throw in a dash of action and an endearing spirit beast relationship, and you have a compelling narrative. If there's one aspect I'm eagerly anticipating more of,

I love it when cultivators go down the crafting route especially the alchemy one. Im beyond excited to see what else our dear MC is gonna experience down the road. Thank god that he has stayed humble and down to earth because after the first few overconfident cocky cultivator novels it sort of loses its appeal and splendor. I'm already looking forward to your next update

I really like this story for a number of reasons, the characters are fun, the jokes are landing surprisingly well and the LitRPG system is simple but very effective to the world, but the main reason I prefer it to almost all cultivation stories I've ever read is that people have morals in it. By this I mean that most, if not all important characters up to this point consider full mortals people as well and no one is willing to kill for basically nothing.
If you dislike the callous attitude of most cultivation novels but like the concept besides, I recommend this wholeheartedly.

I've enjoyed this story greatly, despite its rather slow pace, which isn't to its detriment by any means. It fits the name- blossoming path -and how that might be slow, but eventually unfolds into something great. This story is definitely that. While there is quite a lot of monologs, and that can be a little irritating at times, it does suit the story still.
As long as you don't expect this story to be super fast, I think it's worth a try.

I only have two issues with this story. First, the names are given Western style, with personal name first and family name last. This confused the crap out of me for several chapters, and still bugs me. Second, I really want to see more crazy potions and ointments.
But, overall, I love this story. It's fun, engaging, and there's a good array of well developed characters. The world is a little vague, but that's common in the genre.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this novel so far and highly recommend it. Its very different from your traditional xianxia novels and reminds me a lot of beware of chicken. Which btw, it a good thing.
It's a relaxing read so far and I hope it stays that way. The characters are quite well fleshed out already and I look forward to seeing them develop. Especially Tianyi
