Description

An avid MMORPG player suddenly finds herself trapped in the world of an otome game she’s barely touched—and only out of obligation. Now inhabiting the body of Bianca, the plain and overlooked friend of the villainess, she’s exhilarated by the chance to live in a world brimming with magic. Determined to make the most of her knowledge of the game’s opening events, she ventures into a beginner’s dungeon to gain strength. But when a seed of darkness disguised as an innocent puppy crosses her path, her plans spiral out of control. It pushes her to level up, seize an overwhelming power, and face the temptation of becoming the next dark overlord. What to expect: No harem. Posting schedule:Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Dungeons, academy, empire building, otome. A contract with the darkness. An isekai story where the MC has the potential to become the most powerful hero ever (or the villain, or the demon king...). A slow development of the MC's potential. An OP, devastating ability that the MC can only use once per day—and it's better if she avoids using it. A world where leveling up is difficult and the dungeons are controlled by the army. A system of magical affinities based on personality. Starting from chapter 19, chapters will be at least 1500 words, with an average of 2000.

I am enjoying reading and always look forward to new chapters. The lead and other close characters are well defined and I like them, the main antagonist is properly irritating. It feels like there's a good balance between fantasy youth doing things and adults still being at least somewhat relevant and involved.I like the contrast between Bianca's choices and her title, and the way the light and dark magic aren't just their stereotypes.I do sometimes find myself wanting the pacing to be a bit different, but I feel that probably has more to do with the serialized releases of royalroad rather than being an actual problem, as I didn't notice it at all until I'd caught up.

I binged this story over the course of a couple days, and I enjoyed the side characters as much as the protagonist.   There is a romantic element that takes a good long bit to progress.  The action is good, less of a MC being OP and more of an MC trying to keep up from being swept away.  I like the take on necromancer and the proactive approach MC takes to improving.
Good story so far.  Enjoyed it.

    Dear AngelNersus,
I noticed that you’re complaining about negative reviews—please don’t let them get you down. I think your story is wonderfully written and a pleasure to read.
Negative reviews are fine if the reviewer can back up their criticism with facts; if they can’t, then they’re just a troll driven by envy.
I really like the pacing and the main character’s development, and I have no complaints about the writing style either. I do have one small point of criticism, though—but it’s not negative criticism, just constructive feedback, and it’s no reason not to give it 5 stars.
I really liked the theme of your story, and I had it saved in my list unread for about 3 months; however, the title—which was a bit too long—put me off reading it for a long time... until I finally got over it about 5 days ago and haven’t been able to put it down since. I’ve read 150 chapters in 5 days, which is probably good proof that you’ve found a true fan in me!

What I've read so far is captivating. I really like the story, the way the plot is unfolding, and the character development. My favorite is Ronan, who I think has a lot of depth behind his actions. I’m not sure if he’ll end up being the Demon King instead of Bianca or a Paladin of Light. I believe he has great potential, and I’m eager to see how he develops. Between the puppy and Ronan, they’ve won me over. All that's missing are more slimes. And for the protagonist to stop being so naive sometimes.  (She seems a bit naive for her age, but knowing my coworkers, I can believe it.)
Regarding the style and how it’s written, I’m no expert, but I like it and find it addictive. As for the other characters, some are cliché, like the typical light magic protagonist from a commoner background, but it’s different because there are conditions tied to the magic that could make her lose it. That’s something that really caught my attention because the author mentions that those with light magic can turn to darkness, so I assume—and hope—that those with darkness can also turn to light.
I'm also really looking forward to seeing what happens with the goblins.

Great writing style, great (surprisingly!) use of present tense, detailed power system, enjoyable slow paced romance, characters have depth, MC sometimes acts weirdly, but otherwise fine. Definitely an enjoyable read, would recommend for those liking the genre.
Story is medium paced, nor fast nor slow, with characters being gradually introduced and developed. Plot is lighthearted, but easy to read. MC has sometimes strange though processes. Some chapters are from different point of view, it makes the story more fleshed out and interesting, I hope for more of such chapters in future. Magic system uses lot of numbers, but reader is not burdened by it and fighting scenes are smooth. Overall, I like this novel. It stays true to the genre and topic and is great to read.

This is a fun and engaging isekai story with strong characters and an exciting fantasy world. The mix of humor, strategy, and adventure keeps the story fresh. The game mechanics and magic system make the world feel real, while the main character, Bianca, is interesting and fun to follow.
Bianca is a great protagonist. Her personality is strong, and her mix of modern gamer instincts and noble life struggles makes her stand out. She adapts quickly and makes bold, clever choices. Her sarcastic inner thoughts add humor, making her an enjoyable character to read.
Supporting characters are memorable. Marco is an intriguing mix of skeptical and curious, while Caroline adds a fun contrast to Bianca. Even side characters, like the noble family and academy rivals, feel real and add depth to the story.
The world is well-built and immersive. The magic system, leveling mechanics, and noble hierarchy make the setting feel alive. Dungeons add excitement, and the concept of magic affinities changing based on personality is unique.
The pacing is strong overall. The action scenes, especially in dungeons, are fast and thrilling. The tutorial dungeon is a smart way to introduce game-like elements naturally. The mix of fights, noble life, and character interactions keeps the story balanced and engaging.
The humor adds charm. Bianca’s modern perspective clashing with noble traditions creates many funny moments. Her reaction to Marco and the Seed of Darkness puppy are particularly entertaining.
Bianca could show more emotion. Her humor is great, but a few vulnerable moments would help readers connect with her more.
Side characters could have more depth. Giving Marco, Caroline, and the nobles a bit more backstory and motivations would make them even stronger.
The villain could be introduced earlier. More foreshadowing of the main antagonist would add tension and make the stakes feel higher.
The exposition could be smoother. Some explanations, like magic rules and noble ranks, could be show

I wasn’t sure if I’d get into this story as much and during the early chapters I was a bit hesitant if I’d continue or not but I’m glad I did. The story has been pretty enjoyable to read through with both action sections in dungeons but also a nice bit of slice of life in the academy.
I was a bit iffy on the MC Bianca at first but she has grown on me a bit over time. Surprisingly it’s the side characters I’ve come to enjoy most, especially Ronan, Mary, Vincent and Darius. They have been fleshed out more than I expected and have helped shore up the story in parts where Bianca’s perspective can fall flat.
I wouldn’t consider it one of my favourite stories but it’s one I’ve quite enjoyed and will likely be keeping up with in the future. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try for anyone interested.

I'm enjoying myself with the story, and I think the author deserves to know that. It's a cute story and I enjoy the pacing. The little art that gets added also makes it fun. I don't really have any particular criticisms but I do think it's worth reading if you enjoy romance stories, lots of fun vibes there.

This book follows the adventures of a girl stuck between being the dark lord, or death. She attempts to fulfil the criteria imposed on her while trying to catch a prince, and hide the fact her dog is one of the most hated beings in the world. MC must navigate school life, politics, and her insane potential, all while keeping a traumatized, socially incompetent necromancer out of trouble.
Adventure, romance, and some humor all rolled into one. Highly recommend.
