Annie's backstory

The old world was destroyed in the event known as the Extinction, an event that was responsible for killing countless people, ruining cities, poisoning land, and forever reshaping the world. However, life did not disappear from the world, and, from the ruins of the old world, new regions appeared. The Wastes are one such region under the control of the Reclamation Army, a force sworn to restore the world, by force if necessary.Some weapons of the Old World forced a change upon humanity, resulting in the appearance of new breeds, humans who no longer look like humans.The Wolf Tribe, a large group of the new breeds of the new world, are sworn to serve the Dynast, the man responsible for the creation of the Reclamation Army. Following the creed of their progentitor, they live aside from the other people, serving as the front lines soldiers for the state. But with the dissapearence of their progenitor, change is slowly coming to the Tribe, the cruel times of the old are stepping aside, forcing the Tribe to change slowly, but surely.After losing her family, Annie, a young member of the Tribe, tries to live up her life according to the example of old and become a loyal soldier of the state, willing to lay down her life for the ideals of the Reclamation Army. Fate, however, has its own share of surprises in store for her and, willingly or not, Annie has her own small role to play in the change that comes to her Tribe.
