An awesome story that I’m loving! The unique spin on a Fae along with the personal interactions make this a joy to read. And those battles! The author does a great job of pulling you into the moment and making you want to just keep going page after page.  I look forward to where this story will go next!

    Love it!
    - Perfect speed: no rushing, but sub-plots are resolved within a few chapters, giving a sense of achievement
    - Funny / witty
    - Not using the usual stereotypes for races or plot resolution
    - A feeling of lightheartedness
    - Characters do undergo a personal development, e.g., the AI

This story is a fun one, though it's a slower cup of tea.
Containing a chunk of slice of like, you'll find there is no hurry.
Much like myself, a gamer, she takes her precious time.
An avatar must be perfect; poor appearance is a crime.
Still, she's left the starting zone and headed off for more,
I'm looking forward to the journey as she's heading for a door.
Now for all those wondering, the system reigns supreme
with items, quests, and classes, and everything between.
The style is what you wish of it. A clean litrpg.
There's really not much more to say. There's no problem I could see.
The grammar is quite readable. Mistakes are rarely seen.
I'm sure you'll have no problem, looking at the screen.
The story is more slice of life mixed with discovery.
The villains are all out of view at least they are to me.
Still, the framework is impressive. I'm sure it will go far
so long as you're in for the haul as so many of us are.
The protag and the system are sitting in the front.
The system's a bit snarky, but it's fun and not too much.
The characters are refreshing. We're finally adding more.
I'm curious to learn about them all and add a bit of lore.
So come and join the dear SJ on her quest for something new.
Gather round and listen in. I think this one's for you.

This is lovely! One of my favorites, I can’t wait for more.
There is action, leveling up, lovely daily life things, found family, and mystery about the future and about the basic logics of the world the MC found herself in that I can’t wait to read about!
The female MC isn’t oversimplified, isn’t oversexualised, is not "not like other girls", which is something I’m always worried about, as it happens so often. This is a must read for fantasy fans.
    - One thing I can say against this book, it feels like the cover is AI made (hah, not Dave unfortunately) and I hate that, AI "art" should choke. Also, the books the author recommends in chapter notes often had covers made by AI and it was more obvious than here (not this authors fault, but annoying anyway). If this is not an AI made cover but rather art made by a very talented human, then I apologize. It doesn’t seem so, though. I just think artists should have respect for other artists, that’s all.

Every chapter gives another detail to explore, another part of her life to experience with her and another mystery to be solved about this anomaly that seems to be expanding beyond her but is showing more and more to have existed before she ever arrived.
Very well written, grabs you from the first page and just makes you want more!
    Keep up the awesome work!

**Disclaimer - The reviewer is an author friend**
I took a good long look at this one, and I'm a sucker for odd-couple stories. This one hit all the checkboxes for me--a girl thrown into a world she didn't expect, and rejecting a system of control on herself, and being paired with a snarky, slightly eccentric AI.
While this is still early in its life, there are already indications that life is about to get pretty crazy for SJ and Dave, in ways they never thought possible. The strongest draw of this so far is their slightly dysfunctional, and hilarious relationship. I just love some of Dave's reactions when SJ kind of implodes his world, and he responds in turn by being slightly less than helpful at times, but also extremely helpful in critical moments. I can only imagine the rapport they've built so far will continue to grow. This is the heart of the story so far, and it's a very solid core.
The world of Amathera is still in the training zone, but there's already enough lore about the nature of the world itself that leave me intrigued and wanting more. Will SJ keep to her noble intentions of trying to bring good in the world, or will the inherent nature of her class win out?  I'll be tuning into this one for sure!

I think whomever suggested this to me undersold the premise by stating that this was a slow burn story. It reads more like a slice of life novel so far as I've read at this point. I'm rather enjoying the pleasant story with a fun perspective.
I recommend it as of this post. And here's a couple words because they require fifty.

It's been a while since I've found a fantasy that wasn't too dark, too slow-paced, or had poor character development.   This one is a keeper!   I especially love the humor.  Breaking up the drama with a chuckle or two makes it much easier to read without getting depressed by the story.  (Yes, I know some people like those, but I'll pass...thank you very much!)
It definitely doesn't hurt that there are interesting, small plot-twists that keep your attention.
I'm definitely looking forward to more of this story.

The writing is excellent, I love the storyline so far, but I gave this story 4/5 stars because things happen that are too game like, and they throw me out of the story, destroying my immersion.
Things like hitting [Yes] on a message box to loot an animals corpse and then poof, some coins and a magical item appear.  Or having a starting safe zone where it is safe to rest because the "game" prevents monsters from entering.  Or hitting [Yes] on a message box to have two pieces of leather magically poof into a higher quality piece of leather.
    Examples:
She bent down over the Hogling, looting the body.
1 copper, 1 apple, 2 x strips of light leather
Congratulations, you have killed your first rare monster in Amathera.
3 Silver, 4 strips of good leather, The Badger's Blades
Would you like to combine your light leather strips into regular leather? Yes/No
SJ selected Yes and was greeted with another message.
Congratulations, you have gained a regular leather strip.

Imagine eating a tasty chocolate croissant and discovering a rancid worm inside. That is a general story vibe at the beginning. A note suggests that trolling the readers with annoying character was the author's decision. Well, at the end I did not finish reading the story, but it has its own appeal for the right reader. Please try and see if it works for you or not. This review is applicable for chapters 1-35.
    First 3 chapters:
    + Interesting & intelligent MC
+ Past job and analytical approach
    + Rational choice of class
    + Analyzing T & C
    - Hostile, obnoxious, and rude AI
    - MC is initially a doormat when interacting with it
    - Sudden heel-to-face turn feels artificial
Past chapter 3 until chapter 35:
    + Challenging character build
+ Rational decisions based on her past life
+ MC's positive and negative character traits come into play
    + Likeable, good-aligned MC
    + Actions with consequences
    + Suspenseful fights
+ Descriptions of nature, environment, and creatures
    + Inventory handling
    + Interactions with natives
    + Writing style
+/- MC has somewhat a reckless style, defying her build
+/- Story genre (slice of life)
    - Names used in story
    - MC asks sidekick for validation of most obvious basics
    - AI remains arguably an irritating jerk
    - Abundant AI banter disrupts the story flow
    - Deus ex machina
    - Some quests are boring
