Description

After years of fighting a terrible disease, Amelia finds herself transported into a mysterious world, right into the quarters of a demon captain! Free from her years of suffering, Amelia decides to face this new reality with optimism and cheerfulness! Strangely, she seems to have a new body, retaining all the abilities of her game character she spent years levelling in the hospital! However, wasn't that character a demonic combat mage? Who's this pretty blond woman she's become!? Well, never mind! Better not let the demons know of her titanic combat capabilities, instead maybe her modest healing abilities could be provided as a service? Hang on, I'm not a spy, or an assassin! The world building is excellent, well written and slowly expanded over every chapter. The character growth is more focused on emotional growth and how to find themselves.
The combination of magic and technology is not new but well done. I personally do like the flying ship and floating island aesthetic.
The only thing I could complain about is that the relationship between our two protagonist feels a bit rushed, a bit too fast. In later chapter it slows down significantly and they both learn more about each other. As of now I think it's at an alright pace.
If you don't like Yuri it's not for you, if you aren't interested in it but like a good world setting than I would recommend it.

She's got a disarming personality, a happy-go-lucky attitude, and a tendency to upset the status quo. Ameliadoesgive a damn but she'll do whatever she wants anyway.Colourful writing style, lots of human(and demon) interaction, dialogue that doesn't go stale after a dozen chapters. Best of all, we got an overpowered MC that's not there to save the world or kill the most monsters. She's there to be cute and mess with her girlfriend!

If you take the romance out of this story, it is a very interesting high-tech steampunk fantasy with a massive war going on, some politicking, cultivator-like assholes and kind grandpas. The main reason why I don't read romance stories is that besides the romance, there's nothing interesting going on. That is not the case here at all!
Video game MCs who already know everything bore the heck out of me, but thankfully in this story, even though we have an OP MC who played this game for years and reached max level, she doesn't know a LOT about the worldbuilding and cultures of the people, so we get to learn about the world along with her.
As for the romance, it is endlessly sweet, adorable, funny, and charming. I found myself smiling throughout most of the two main characters' interactions. The MC's interactions with other characters are also very endearing and lovely.
With an awesome plot, worldbuilding, and romance you can't go wrong with this story, give it a try! I think the only reason someone may not like it is if they don't like reading romance at all or they don't like OP MCs.

A wonderful tale of love on the high skies!
We join Amelia as she finds herself on the vengeance; but why is she in the body of her game character? And who is the woman staring down at her with those beautiful Horns? And more importantly, do you think she’d let her touch them?
A well-written and compelling story of Amelia, Serena the captain of the Vengeance, and their crew as they navigate love, power and the history of this interwar-inspired magipunk adventure.
The characters are compelling, with Amelia chanelling some of the best of Caterina Claes from My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom and Rosamyne from Ascendance of a bookworm, with Serena playing the straight man (ahem) to Amelia’s antics. Supporting characters fill out the roster exploring life in the Demon Realm, and provide various viewpoints on Amelia’s journey.
Yuri Romance occurs early and underpins the plot, although this quickly expands into exploring cultures, differences and navigating the social issues of the setting. There is no Harem here, and the protagonists’ relationship navigates the early stages well. Intimacy is explored but barely explicit, and reflects some of the stages and progression of an early relationship. Those coming from Ivil Antagonist will find similarities but this story focussed more on growing with your true love than finding it.
World-building is strong, with inspirations similar toTanya the Evil but strong threads of Howl’s moving castle, various Humans-Versus-Demon tropes, the intersections of faith and magic in a magical world, and emerging mysteries of Amelia’s connection to previous realm-travellers and of course the great Demon Empress, who just happens to look very much like Amelia’s new body…
There are certainly elements of common tropes; Amelia is a bit of a Mary-Sue at times although this is mostly grounded by Serena. Overpowered Isekai Protagonist and my computer game gave me L33T skills also applies, but power levels and litRPG tropes take a fo

First of all, I was really glad to find a novel that didn't have an Almighty System. Ya know - that THING which counts your XP whenever you kill a squirrel...Sure, "Amelia Thornheart" has some game-ish elements; they're mentioned in the beginning, and I'm kinda curious how the author will explain them without blowing up the hole in the world-building.Because the world-building is the second thing I really like about this one. It's good. Not your usual isekai land with a demon lord you're supposed to kill (or else). Nope. Those guys have actualflying shipsand are interested in astronomy! They're doing actual scientific progress, refusing to stay in your usual medieval setting, with puny magical swords and just horses! Go, scientific progress!..And the third ingredient I found very tasteful - the romance. An old, good romance between two women, flowers and stuff included. Not too heavy on details, just like a proper flavouring. I hope the author won't follow the steps of George R. R. Martin and kill one of them... that would beveryrude.Don't do that, please. Do something else. And good luck doing it.

It's hard to say much more than, this is a flat out 5 out of 5 series. The characters wre rich and interesting, the story is just subblime, the world feels lived in and gets you asking questions and the humor? On point, always kept me laughing, flat out great work from the author.
Amelia and Serena are an amazing pair of protagonist, smart, mature (to a degree of course) and pair together like peanut butter and chocolate. They bounce off each other amazingly and their relationship feels organic.
About my only gripe so far is there is no true main villain, yet, at least, time may render this obsolete, as of current time of writing it feels like the journey's truly just begun.
I do love the villains of the week so to speak, major and minor all of them with a degree of believability to why they act the way they do, possibily even sympathy.
Now I just hope the author can keep this up for the future no matter how long it takes, I plan to be here till the end!
And for those on the fence about, go for it. Amelia is a total cinnamon roll and Serena is the best anchor a tactical nuclear cinnamon roll needs.

Just an excellent read, I lost sleep reading this after I found it. And now that I'm cought up on chapters I'm the big sad...but I can't wait to see where the story goes.
Excellent world building/pacing/character development/setting, just 10/10 for me. Id give it more stars if I could. I will probably join the patreon once Dragoneye Moons wraps up, multiple patreons at once is a little much, but I will deff be getting the books once this inevitably gets serialized.

The story is an excellent mix with bits of war, politics, surprisingly nice demons, fanatics, high tech steampunk, a good bit of humor, a bit of life, the usual integrative bastards and a surprisingly well-done portion of romance.
    And I normally hate romances.
    That alone says something.
The world in this story is also unique, with some very successful allusions to some fantasy novels, allusions to the real world and video games.
Also important to the story is the strong OP MC.
However, this is so well integrated into the story, including the logical consequences that such an OP brings with it, that this is more of an incentive than a minus point.
Definitely worth reading. At least give it a honest try.
In any case, it convinced me very quickly and, as a good story should do, it quickly got me excited.

    Okay a quick snopsus/checklist.
Do you like any of the following.
    _ Strong Female Leads
    _ Military Fantasy
    _ GL Romance
    _ OP MC
    _ Isekai
    _ Cookies, Tea, Coffee
If you said yes to the above, then I think you just found your new jam.
In depth world build that starts when a sick girl is isekai to a world where all of society has moved above the clouds, and the races of demons and man are currently at war. Amelia use to play full emersion games, and the stats and magic from her previous game experiance have followed her to a new body aboard the flying ship the Vengence, a demon vessel, which is captained by the serious Serena. Will the beautiful cinnimon bun bundle of energy that is Amelia be able to break though Serena's tough outer shell? And can she make friends with all demonkin.
I love this stories deep history, different cultures, religions, and peoples, and the world seems to get deep with each new chapter. The language, style, and point of view markers make it easy to read for even struggling readers and makes the series very approachable. I love the cozy down time moments as much as the action. The switching point of view, which is common in saphic romance novels is expertly ulitized in this story to really flush out the indivual characters, and provide info and foreshadowing. If your looking for a community, this story has a mass readership, discord, and patreon that can share in theory crafting and adorkable moments. I just finished the most recent chapter, and will definately keep comming back for more.
P.s. I was sent to this story by RavensDaggers Ivil Antigonist, so if you liked that...

It's a very well done story with good character development and world building. Lots of mystery and intrigue, but things end up making sense as they're revealed.
The main character is nice and energetic but gets serious when she needs to and greatly enjoys teasing the love interest.
9/9, yes, very gay, definitely recommend.
