All the Elders in My Sect Are My Avatars!

Description
An avid Xianxia reader suddenly gets what he always wanted. He wakes up in a real cultivation world. The only problem? Maybe it was never really his dream after all. Now, faced with the harsh reality of what cultivation truly involves, with endless realms to climb, countless worlds to ascend, and an abundance of arrogant young masters to deal with, despair starts to creep in. Fortunately, his golden finger was not missing, and a mysterious system appears in his mind. Now, armed with elders, ancestors, and a sect leader, he no longer feels completely overwhelmed. "At least I do not have to do everything alone... well, technically, I do. After all, they are my avatars." ------------------------------------------------ Notes: - The avatars are directly controlled by the MC, like multiple bodies sharing the same mind. - Despite the MC’s multiple bodies, only his main body will be involved in any romance. - As for the update schedule: I try to release chapters daily except Fridays when there are no updates. The standard update time is around 4 AM GMT, but this can vary. - If you enjoy the story, please consider leaving a review! And for those interested, you can support me on Patreon and read ahead. This is an original story written by TIGR4, not a translation of a novel. Just adding this line to avoid misunderstandings since the title sounds very Chinese... which is intentional. Bye!

- karvaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really good so far!MC is reasonable and doesn’t start out too OP and doesn’t become a crazy cultivation maniac. Instead he maintains humanity and builds his relationship with his partner. While I love the growing relationship, my favourite part is the sect (of course). Very good premise, it’s not too overbearing and it’s got a lot of room to grow and expand. MC starts out on. completely different part of the world, meaning the sects influence over his life is minimal to begin with, but the author still finds an intriguing way for the sect to show their power, whilst also letting him grow on his own. I also like the fact that the sect isn’t just his avatars. Instead, he can hire elders and absorb sects, which makes it more interesting. Otherwise it could’ve gotten bland (it hasn’t).The fact that he explores the world through his avatars is great because it helps us understand the world from a bigger perspective.Overall, great Xianxia! Can’t wait for more.
- DukemRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Finally, a western writen xianxia story that is of appropriate length for a cultivation web novel.
I don't remember who said it, but they said it well: "I don't want to read a cereal box, I want to read a story."
This one delivers on that, and I appreciate a protagonist that is willing to actually go full cultivator actually do things with all his power without going full murder hobo. It strikes a reasonable ballance between being a good person and being decisive when working towards his goals. I love the absolutely comical scale this world works in, and how that scale is properly worked into the world building.
Kinda major plot point spoiler, read if u want but don't blame me.
Like how the next nearest continent being something like 3.5 or 7 sun diameters away being a reasonable trip of 15 days for a nascient soul cultivator is both an awesome way to give us a sense of scale and absolutely hilarious when you think about it.
You know, I did the math for that trip back to the sect, and they were traveling at over mach 10 (10.9 i think) to make that trip between the two continents. This is assuming that the range given to the ancestors search of a 3.5 sun radius for treasure was accurate for searching for the MC as a "disciple" and his speed was constant in a straight line back to the sect.
Wild stuff, but really cool.
Now, I'm not gonna argue that it is a perfect story, but I'm rating it 5/5 because despite the few issues it has this story actually has some real meat on its bones. - Vincent1875Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story is going strong so far. The MC acts cartoonish at times but he's at least aware of it. Honestly I wish all of the anime wannabe stories would study this one. This is how you write a character acting goofy without it being offputtingly annoying or cringe. Same thing with the romance. This is easily one of the best romances I’ve read on this site. Granted that’s not a genre I’m looking for but they show up in everything anyway. The female lead isn’t annoying, she wasn’t introduced in 2 seconds, and it’s development is quick but doesn’t feel forced. The story also plays in the xianxia genre without coming off as disrespecting it.
Will be keeping up with the story. - darkrikeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Updated review at chapter 236.
This is stil fine. The writing is still good and the story is enjoyable to watch develop.
unfortunately this as turned from a dedicated read to a casual bi weakly read.
There are som faults to point out. But there are mostly only two reasons
( the following in the spoilers is mostly rambling.
This is still good. I recommend it if you want something enjoyable and interesting. I really like the world. The unfortunate is that this could have been (still can be) more the just enjoyable.)
One is with other character
Other characters relevance is hard to keep. Especially since the story has written itself into a corner where interactions with other characters is hard to bring up. So it mostly just the MC doing things which is a little disappointing.
weirdly, and this is hard to write, this fiction would be helped by a ”harem.” Or at least leaving it open ended. Not a Pokémon harem. But a mature status quo where the MC desires to interact with other characters.
Just to make other characters more relevant. While making use of the existing world
but the world building and development is more then making up for it.
the other one is actually criticism
basically, At a relevant part this fiction started delivering less content per chapter. Maybe not less words, but definitely less content.
It is a clear and noticeable when it happens and is a detachment from the prior.
There is a clear reason for this. This fiction's update rate for one plus the author's other fiction with a similar update rate.
But when fictions have less content or minimal content Per chapter, to the point that most chapters title perfectly, completely, and wholly summarize the chapter since only one relevant thing happens.. It just stops being enjoyable.
It also comes with other problems. Quality lowering and a need to fill in the space To drag the chapter
Returning to the prior fault. Interactions would have helped fill in the space and justify the minimal value of the chapter - GlobeGlotterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I highly recommend this novel to you!
Here's why I loved binging it and am looking forward to reading much, much more;
1. The sect-building aspect is consistent, thorough, fun, unique and extremely well-paced. Often, kingdom/sect-building stories go too fast, too slow, get stuck solving frustrating side-quests, or explode in scale to keep up with increasingly scarier enemies.
This novel's sect's growth, though, is perfectly paced to stay fun, interesting, exciting and believable.
The gimmick of the MC's avatars works great, is far less distracting than I feared, and perfectly executed!
2. The romance is cute and receives quite a lot of limelight considering the genre. In a good way! Don't worry, it's not distracting from the xianxia, the sect, or the MC's growth. It doesn't fill entire chapters at a time either. It's just, present, important, always a part of the MC's journey. Y'know, like it should be in real life? I love it.
The two make for a lovely couple. (No harem indeed btw, and there's really no need for it as the author wisely realized.)
3. The cultivation aspect is surprisingly thoroughly delved into. Author has put in a LOT of effort digging deeper into why certain xianxia tropes could and should make sense in-world. And they have done so successfully. It's a bit silly to say, but I feel like I've learned more about cultivation and the logic behind it thanks to this novel.
Completely unexpected merit!
Finally, it's just a well-written, entertaining, consistent, promising xianxia story with a wonderful balance of topics, perspectives and pacing. Cheers to more! - Murilo MarcelinoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I started this story this week and I'm already here, it's very good. I started out finding the protagonists' relationship very poorly written, but apart from that, everything is pretty cool, it's in my current top 10. I was just a little annoyed that it didn't have as many chapters as I thought it did. It was a very light read, you read it and you don't even notice the time passing
- SciroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really enjoyed the story so far.
The story is about a young hive mind making it's life in world of cultivation.
There are no blatanly stupid young master's here, but yet enough face slapping to keep mood up.
But the best part is interaction between MC & his fiance. Even through sometimes it's border line stupid if you can look thru it, you will enjoy the story greatly. - TollertypieeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An entertaining twist on the xianxia genre. The premise—one guy secretly running an entire sect by pretending to be all the powerful elders—is amusing and interesting.
I really like the pacing and power scale (hope it doesn't get too crazy in the future like some stories). The MC himself is steadily getting stronger, but still struggling. I also like how he adapts to the world and although he is righteous, he won't compromise the safety of his sect members (and won't hesitate to kill).
I especially enjoy the chemistry between the MC and the love interest. Their scenes are fun, a bit chaotic, and surprisingly sweet—it makes you root for them.
There was a time where frequency of erotic moments was a bit much for me, but it wasn't that bad and got better.
Until now (Chapter 90) there is no harem in sight and I hope that doesn't change (although I would kinda understand if some avatars get into relationships).
I can't really rate the grammar (because I am not a native speaker), but there wasn't any mistake that interrupted my flow of reading.
So overall I'm excited to see where the story goes and can only recommend giving it a read. - Wo7fRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A great read with some interesting ideas and a great execution. I have to admit I binged this novel and almost cried when I got to the latest chapter.
Detailed world building and character development that elevates the whole story. The inclusion of some explicit romance and M18 content in my mind doesn’t hurt the novel and is on par with best selling novels today.
Join our young Arrogant Dragon as he grows stronger and works to shape an apparently dying world in to that of an ideal society that only seeks to elevate the human condition. - kelkel1133Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Absolute best xianxia in the site!
Tired of all pansy weakass isekai MCs who frown at blood and gore and get all vomity2x when it comes to murder? Tired of all the morally upright can-do-no-bad but is fucked by his own circumstances protags who gets slapped around like a babe throughout the plot? Tired of OP MCs who still can't do anything right because "morals" and their readerbase would want to bash them?
FRET NOT, THIS RIGHT HERE IS A GENUINE XIANXIA STORY WRITTEN WITH SLIGHT WESTERN SENSIBILITIES
Bowing feels natural, grandiose speeches feel natural, even overbearingness and arrogance feels natural. this is no John is mimicking eastern culture type of cultivation stories. This is actual dog eat dog, mortal looking down on beggars, cultivators looking down on mortals type of slop.
It even comes with a very authentic Blue/Azure inconsistent naming. Now I have to look for inconsistent pronouns but I so far found none.
-This novel is certified by a cultivator from the Poison Tester Sect
