Description

Book 1is now available on Amazon!

So... you want to know how to become a god?

Well, I'll be honest. This ain't that type of guide. So why the name you ask? Well, it sounded good.

My story is an odd one, full of magic, drama and a whole lot of Bob.

Who's Bob you ask? Read and find out.

I never really expected to go from full-time Neet to a God, but you know how life hits, right? Well it doesn't really matter in the end. What matters is how I got there. You know how I said this ain't that type of guide? Well maybe it can be. Maybe you'll figure somethings out along the way, who knows? Actually, I do, and you probably won't, but who cares right? So take a seat in your mother basement or whatever hole you live in, and read the story of how I, a full-time Neet, became a God.

I am loving this series I am enjoying this every step of the way.  Yes, it’s a Harem but it’s not focusing on the sexual parts more innuendo which I like so more on the story and what's happening so much more for him to do just starting to get into it all. Wish a Book like that would fall into my lap!!  Bob has his own unique attitude a sassy sidekick that understands when to be serious. an awesome pocket dimension also jealous of that would love one of those too. he must have a great luck stat that's for sure!! but all great MC must have a great luck stat; or great survivability. Love that he is well rounded and in the second book ending I think he chose well. I don’t want to spoil anything but This is why I am excited the most to see if his abilities can grow more cause his form was said to hold him back.
I have listened on audible and the narrator does a great job as well with the voices. I cannot wait to see where the author brings him next or what troubles he gets into or even what worlds he goes to and why earth is called prime.

The things I feel most guilty for having a hard time with are small tasks that most people find easy. Think sending an email, calling your relatives, being on time, making your bed. Despite seeming insignificant, failing to be proficient at these chores is debilitating as the effects compound.
This story focuses on progressing past those supposedly trivial obstacles to achieve one's goals. If you identify with that or struggle to sympathize with people who experience it, then you will LOVE this story! It is a must read!
I think that the majority of progression fantasy fictions focus on the MC overcoming huge and uncontrollable difficulties in their lives. They are amazing stories, but I often struggle to relate without exaggerating my own circumstances. If you also experience that then, again, I cannot recommend this fiction enough.
Before the sub-categories, one more important thing. The author addresses all that seriousness while still making the reader laugh! I think that is important, because it preserves the uplifting and inspiring feel that I'm here for.
Character: The MC is likable, not overpowered, relatable, vibrant, and realistic. Things are not easy for him, and his struggles feel very real. Further, the supporting characters all add something to the story, are distinct from the MC, vibrant, and realistic as well. I do not think the characters could be any better. The only thing I could see someone disliking is that there are a relatively small number of characters present.
Story: I cover the important bits above. Additionally, there is no plot armor present, things follow a logical flow, the plot is not cookie cutter, etc. None of the typical trappings or deficiencies one typically finds are present.
Style: The author leverages short, choppy sentences plus verbosity to add drama and heighten the immersion while also including lots of jokes and humor through dialogue. It is distinct from most other more jovial comedic styles. I think most readers will lov

For those who are tired of the same old OP fantasy isekai, this is a must read.
The story is set in modern day earth where magic exists but is hidden by the Magic government and various other races. the MC is your regular neet who appears to have given up on life who the turns it all around when an unassuming package arrives at his doorstep, and with it magic.
This a magic progressive story there are no stat pages and systems that lord over everything. The characters arent one dimensional and as more are introduced into the story, everyone seems to have their own depth and stories.
The author has a really good writing style which makes the story easy to read yet not be boring or tedious to read. There are little to non grammar ans spelling mistakes and if there are it doesnt hinder anyone from enjoying reading this work.
I say give it a go and leave a review so we can get this story into the Rising stars so we can give the author more readers.
Also for those wondering yes there is a bit of Romance in this story but it isnt forced or with female characters just popping out of nowhere. And lastly there isnt some over the top plot armor or Deus Ex-machina that just magically solves everything.

This story is touching me on a deep level. The main character starts off several time worse off than me, but if I had the same resources and no family I could very well be where he starts. The struggles to get out of that pit I know too well, though the voice always win in the end, for me. Outside of that I rather enjoy the story, the lessons tought through struggle, the humanity found. I believe a form of relationship is misrepresented and either using a faulty definition or going for a version that doesn't quite make sense, considering the explanation for it. That said, it does seem fairly presented thus far, but the author might consider doing some research concerning definitions of different relationships.
Also some weird uses of commas, but nothing too bad. All in all, it is a great story. I'm gonna get back to reading now.

I found this a fascinating blend of progression and urban fantasy. It's one people will either love or hate, depending on whether they can relate to the MC, who rapidly evolves over time. Like the MC, the writer has been evolving with multiple arcs weaving their way towards a critical mass. Tension is slowly in the second book and I've found it to increasingly draw me in and become a page turner. Enough so that I went back to purchase the first novel in order to add it to my personal collection. I think this author has some serious talent and I look forward to seeing where their writing takes them next.

I did not think I'd like this.
I've only ever read a handful of novel on this site, and I ain't ever made an account because the novels I read usually have ebook or audiobooks out, but occasionaly I check rising stars and most times I find something then read through and forget, but this time it was different. I've read a ton of urban fantasy novels, harem and non-harem, and most of the time it's the same old same old basic crap with not much depth or thought into the world buidling and charecters.
I think that's what I like most about this novel. Is the world building. It's got a chaotic and messy feel to it, but I sort of like that. And I really want to find out more about this world and magic and other stuff. I would prefer a more hard magic system, but the one the author has crafted has my interest peaked.
The mc is different than most. As a former neet myself, he's a bit exagerrated as is a lot of stuff, and he's kinda of a Gary Stu, but not in a bad way. He does get his far share of luck and I saw another review complaining about it and how he's not a neet and how things are swept aside. But neets ain't all the same, and some got different reasons for being how they are. I don't see a problem with the way things turn out. He literally finds a magic book, and it's clear the author is going for a balance of things. Also, it's a world full of magic. Yes, the mc gets chances that most won't, but it's a fantasy novel, and like most harem stories has wish fulfilment, but unlike most harem novels, the mc truly works for things and the charecters feel real.
It's got its problems, but honestly I'm glad it's not too realistic, because as a former neet, there are just certain things that wouldn't mesh well, and would get old fast. I can picture a more gritty version of this novel, but I don't think it'd be for me. I like this balance of wish fufiliment, and progression that's going on with the story
I also like that the Author is trying to help people through his work. I

    (TL;DR at the bottom)
Now, the reason I'm writing this review at all is because of how different the novel is compared to what the Title seems to promise.
The main issue being the portrayal of what actually constitutes a neet.
What we see in this novel is, for all intents and purposes, an MC with a silver spoon and a great dose of luck. Sure, he's a depressed person who stopped caring for himself, but his negatives are few and easily swept aside.
Only his depression, lack of personal care and being fat are the problems at hand. And by the time a month in-story passes, those problems are essentially gone and we get a near perfect Gary Stu in its place.
The MC was never a loser, was never awkward, and never had any problems socializing and asociating with people, used to be sporty, charming, handsome, had a girlfriend, and has loads of money.
This story does not show any of the realities of anybody actually in a bad place, of how a neet conqueers his own failures one by one and struggles moving forward, because doing so IS damn hard.
And whatever IS there is far too easily swept aside. It sends all the wrong messages and implies all the wrong things about such issues and how *easy* they are to fix, and despite the rest being competently written, I just can't stand by a lie of a portrayal this story presents.
Instead, it's a feel good wish fulfillment where the MC has everything handed to him on a silver platter. He gets not one, but THREE people to coach him into becoming the best he ever could be.
His personal life coach that's always with him at home, a gym hottie always pushing him to try his darnest, and a mental health beauty to help him go past his depression.
And in reality, this is a story about them, not the MC. They each push him along, manage his time, and support him the entire way. It's to the point where MC is not even thinking about anything much, he's just strutting along the perfect tutoring set up for him to go through.
This is the level of luck and

Self-help books exist, but did not think I would see one in this context.  Up to the point I have read he just started to try and change, and that is a good thing for sure.  HOWEVER, I am looking for an exciting story and so far there is a lot of magic world bureaucracy and him trying to fight with himself to take care of himself.  I don't really care about describing going to the magic dmv, to the gym, or a chapter where he cleans up his house.  For a self-help book, which kind of seems like what the author is going for, maybe it would be more impactful if magic was not going to be used to solve life problems.  Maybe it takes off later on, but I am really bored with it right now.
