As thus far the only problem is that the story sort of hasn't really established something. One, who our MC really was( as I see it he was second tier but lucky). Two the new system in the new world.
Beyond that.
The way I would describe the novel is amusing. Not funny, but it has humor.
Very good novel whose review probably needs updating.

I do very much like that she is just explicitly not a good person in the story and she herself did not pretend that she is as evil as she thinks he is either which is nice she may not care for people outside her circle of friends and loved ones but when it's in regards to her friends and loved ones she's fiercely protective which made for some great character dynamics.
the characters decide her main group of friends and the only female hero are not the most well-developed site characters but not particularly bad either in the antagonists with the mast outperform ability is just phenomenal Written comes off as absolutely someone who could and would exist within this world while being suitably awful to make you enjoy watching him get his face beat in by the MC's almost as a good story and I would recommend you read it.

I've always liked comparing the differences to Chinese cultivation stories to the standard adventure story that dominates Japanese stories. This story is the result of a one night stand between them.
It's interesting seeing the whole new powers of Chinese cultivation stories introduced to a more European medieval world. I also am just a fan of stories where the MC uses Poison a fair amount.
Really, If I had to say one thing I didn't like. It would be a plot development about one of the character's body changing. It really only bugs me to cause things like that has always gotten on my nerves. Other then this one thing, The story is pretty fun.
I do kind of like the MC, At times it seems the story forgot he is an old man (That is probably Hundreds or thousands of years old) I think the story is pretty good with keeping the MC's personality the same throughout the story.
Kind of disappointed we haven't seen more of the magic of the medieval world setting and the MC's first encounters and interactions with a strange new form of force.
I do like seeing the relationship between the MC and the girl he picked up near the start and I like imagining what the future holds for them. I kind of want there to be a story arc about the girl the MC picked up meeting her parents (Although I like the idea the mother actually loves her) and other people who abused her after all this. I also kind of like the idea the girl that died to help the girl the MC picked gets reborn. Maybe as a child between the MC and the girl ( Don't ask how it would work, This is a world with magic after all) I just like the idea of this girl being forced to stay around them.
Overall it's a really fun story.

I've read lots of cultivation and Litrpg books and novels and I have to say this one is one of my favorite. The story flows well, the conflicts and fights are interesting and captivating. The grammar is also good, the only thing I annoys me a little is when the mc uses both he and she to describe her self in the narration. Makes me think they were talking about someone else until I reread that specific part. Also i would love more chapters

This was such a treat to read that I've binged this to the "current latest as of this review" chapter.
The characters are all deep and interesting. The MC is very villainous while also fair as well as wise and prideful, written in a compelling way. The main cast is complex and great, the political antagonists are crafty but underestimate the MC, the powerful antagonists are an actual threat.
The story is well written with little to no grammatical errors. The plot is interesting with great parts and cool lines. I really like that this is still a cultivation story but made easier to digest with the mix of classic fantasy isekai tropes and less on the mystical magical chinese wordplay and god pills. Has great classic isekai conflicts while still having the brutal comeuppance scenes of chinese stories without the confusing traditions and wordplay (confusing to me at least). The gender bend is pretty minor but affects the difference between the MC's past & present.
Again, this is a fantastic story. Part of my top original fiction. Thanks to the author for the story and I look forward for more!

I've read a lot of cultivation stories and I love this one a mix of cultivation and leveling system, what a fun and unique concept especially when the cultivation way is stronger. I hope that you continue this story as I want to see what becomes of their relationship and will Connie fight the demon lord or maybe become the next 😂.

I’ve enjoyed this story so far… there have been some ups and downs but mostly I’ve enjoyed the journeys Connie has taken me on. The world building has been surprisingly decent and there have been many times I’ve laughed and shouted while reading this story. There have also been some times where I was just so upset 🤭 but it’s been overall a blast. One of my biggest gripes are the way Connie handles relationships. She obviously was a man in her past life, I get it but what I don’t get is she acts like she’s never courted a woman, recognises the feelings of a woman and never even dealt with a woman. We know that he was married in his last life and even adopted a child, as you can read from the first chapter… the thing I don’t understand is her total lack for not caring or seeing how others care for her. It’s was a long annoying ride to get Connie to finally start to see things from a different perspective.
One thing k will also state is the side characters are superb. All the characters are well written but those that have a role to o,as in Connie’s life were phenomenally written. We see Connie take L’s and W’s. Which I like… I do very much enjoy an OP main character but I don’t want everything just given to them for free. Connie has had to work for every scrap of power, every thread of wealth and gains. I simply love how she handles a lot of the situations she comes across. Just nonchalantly destroying things and people 😝😉 could stop me from just laughing at their misfortune because they decided to make an enemy of Connie. She’s fiercely loyal and very intelligent.. I can’t say too much else without dropping spoilers. Just know that this has been a fantastic series. I thoroughly recommend it.
