Mira is determined to be a botanist—no matter how dangerous or violent it may become.
Mira made two requests upon entering the multiverse: a botany class to further her research and to be dropped off in an isolated forest far from the violent god-rearing system BS going on. She was granted both—but not in the way she expected. The system abandoned her in a hellishly dangerous forest—where she earned a rare class that excelled at killing things.

- AlcatrazIsland5Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0One of the best writings on this or any site. I can't get enough of the world you have created or the characters you breathe life into! I can't wait till our heroine is roaming the multiverse with soul plant monsters letting everybody know that there's a new bad bitch in town!
- Falcon9aRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Definitely worth trying out. The author either knows about botany or they do their reaserch! I like learning facts through the characters actions. The writer has occasional spelling errors but great technical skills; the writing is very easy to read. They also have very distinct characters who seem to be good people, which is always a plus for me :)
- KanzibrixRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I adore OP main character isekai/isekai related stories, and this give me one with a main character who resonates with me. I adore her moxie and her motivation, and can sympathize and empathize with her. (though maybe not about being in a deadly poisonous forest, even though I did live in Florida)
I am excited to see where her story takes us. - ShayanaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What a great story! I love the creative system mechanics and gaining strength through careful allocation of requests and rewards, and level ups not inherently making you more powerful (no stats here, at least so far). And Mira is awesome, I love her fighting to do what she loves and live her dreams! Excellent writing style, too, and few mistakes.
- ToxicValkyrieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Loving this book. Waiting for each chapter is going to be both joy and curse! It's well edited and has a great hook and premise. The MC has plenty stacked against them so you feel the rise and fall with the character and celebrate their success and morn the failures.
- Umbral PlagueRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Wow.
I got to admit, when I picked this up, I was skeptical.
I wondered if it would go too hard on the botany details, and we would lose out on the progression.
I even worried that it would focus too much on one aspect, making it tedious.
All those worries, unfounded. All that wonder, deserved.
Wraithwood Botanist is a fantastic story about a girl who loved her plants so much, that cosmic karma decided to grant her wish.
In a forest that's absolutely outside of her level range.
Hilarity ensues, and with her trusty cat Kline, she botanizes her path to becoming a badass, and every step, while difficult, is richly fulfilling.
By all the Elder Gods, READ THIS BOOK! - ZuraAstraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this story so far, the writing is excellent, the characters develop over time, the plot looms over the main character's head and you can feel how one wrong move could end it all, yet it doesn't feel like the main character has indestructible plot armor. The author manages to hook me again after every chapter! Updates are consistent and very frequent. I honestly couldn't ask for more out of a story.
- [email protected]Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0For taking an entire book to cover a week this story felt pretty fast paced. The main characters are enjoyable and there is a lot of character development. Writing is tight, the magic system descriptions can get a bit wordy, but there is enough action to smooth that out. Looking forward to reading book 2

I am loving the story. The stakes and danger of the place feel completely real, her motivations make sense and the side characters are three dimensional. They have their own POV, and so far they don't exist just to praise the MC. The MC gets realistic push back.
Mira feels like she's in real danger, and the gains feel earned. The deus ex machina even had a totally understandable in setting explanation. - zhaanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Saw this on the rising stories a while back and have always enjoyed a good plant based liyrpg and was not disappointed.
Am also maybe a bit biased as I lived in Fort Collins where the character is from pre system so bonus points for repping my hometown.
A few Things I like that the author did.
sidekick animal companion does not talk even tho they are clearly intelligent. The active decision to not have them speak either through magic or telepathy, but while still playing a major role is something I enjoy and thought was well done. This does not mean he does not have depth.
I like how ambiguous the system is and we are not sure the overall morality or it. Plus the interactions between MC and system are not all just factual or lvl up info, there is substance.
Whole has not happened yet I believe that the author could totally maim or kill a main character and it would still work, giving the story a real threat of death makes the accomplishments feel more legit.
Overall a well written story that when combined with the daily updates makes it a winner in my books. Am current with the story and don't imagine dropping it anytime soon. I hope the author is able to keep up their update pace and don't get too dismayed/burnt out.
