Description

She entered the Tower seeking death. Instead, she keeps finding reasons to live.

In this life, she's Bella, a jaded med student trying to catch up on centuries of medical innovation. Or at least, she was before the Tower appeared. With the promise that she would find whatever she sought if she reached the top, she entered, hoping to find a way to end her curse.

However, even with hundreds of lives of experience to fall back on, reaching the top is no easy task. The Tower is filled with wonders she could only dream of, and what she once believed was the peak of power was only the first rung of a much larger climb. Her foundations are unshakable, but the Tower is deeper, deadlier, and moreexhilaratingthan anything she’s ever faced.

And when she finally reaches the top? She’ll decide whether to end it all… or maybe not.

Was excellent but will be dropped according to the author and this will never be given a proper ended as the  author feels like they screwed up on this and have lost there motivation I would have loved to see where this went as I felt like it could be rewritten instead of being dropped but I’m not the author

While perhaps the Long-Way-To-Go setup could deter readers, it's important to note that The Phoenix is a Tower Climb genre. The exposition gives extremely cautionary warnings about how long each floor of The Tower should take. The Floor # to Chapter # ratio will be very comical to see.
Yet the end goal is extremely well defined, being a Tower Climb genre and all.
The culture and social dynamics of this vast, multidimensional tower is one of the keys to ensuring the glacial pace will be worth the time spent reading. From what I've seen thus far, a well designed political structure with unique races and lifeforms has already been planned for and written.
While the main character has an overpowered head start, we are immediately shown how very little that means in the grand scheme of the scale of the Tower. Yet she remains very mature due to the nature of her past lives.
While still quite early in the storyline, the potential for something great is certainly present. The Tower itself is an iceberg and we can only see the tip of it thus far.
Or perhaps it's just a Tower and we're only on Floor 1. Wait no, that's not a metaphor.

Very good unique story, would 100% recommend you give it a try. The characters are very well written and their motivations all make sense. Typa novel that not very predictable. The only issue I have with it is that apparently the tower like forces you to team up? Thankfully it's not like others where the MC gets stuck with dumbasses who don't know how to hold a sword. She gets to choose them so obviously they're competent. Honestly it's not even such a bad thing because a lot of novels are just grind grind grind without the mcs making any friends, so I think the author is setting that up to not happen in this story. Also, it's not as if they're leeching the rewards from the MC (as far as I can tell) overall I definitely recommend you give it a read!

What you've got here is a cultivation tower climber, like it says, delivered via crisp and addictive writing that stays on point and pertinent in solid steps in full obedience to steady progression. Oh yeah!
It's immediately entertaining as it quickly sweeps us up into the cold and merciless violence that I hope you were expecting by dipping your toes in this. Trials and challenges await, and if you aren't up for it, you know, you can always tap out and go home. Nah, just kidding — you are dead, buddy! Dead, dead, dead. Just like most of these clueless sods, not even close to ready for what they poked out of curiosity.
But not Bella. Earned experience just knocked on the tower door, that which is born of many lives, including ones of great martial prowess. Was one of them an angsty teenage lover of a vampire? I don't think so. You're probably safe. Phew!
In any case, you'll learn about these lives as you go, and as you see her interface and dissect this new realm in a calculating fashion. By no means is she flawless, but rather is she in the process of shaking some Earthly rust off, not to mention trying to understand the alien methodologies and politics of the tower. But you'll find intelligence, pragmatism, and solid capability in her, in realistic proportions. And yes, by the way, there is fighting! Big spoiler, I know. It isn't overloaded, and I found it refreshingly to the point without being plain.
I also love the style of 'bored immortal tired of everyone's shit.' Don't be a pest, okay? Let her do her own thing, already! :D
Grammar-wise, you have attention to detail, and everything is as solid as 99% of other stories. Moving on... style. Fits the genre, hits the spot, heavy content-laden getting-to-the-point, often sardonic, good irony, got me some laughs. Very much gets down a relative introvert having to navigate social environments.
In closing, I'd keep reading (I'm more of a binger, mind you) and I'd heartily recommend it for those who like manga or anime

first off the story's still pretty early in but I am super curious and hyped about where it'll go, its probably the only hunter x hunter inspired story I've encountered that has enough mental chess between charcters to work, even though this early on its in pretty small snippets (the jin-whatever his name was guy scene for example gave me a lot of hope for this being very smart/mental) the other thing I like is the character writing particularly a lot of the side charcters are super interesting, theres like multiple charcters both on the magical and phycological fronts that are "hanging-guns" right now that I'm curious about where they go, which a lot of stories fail to do for me especially when they go relatable over interesting and end up achieving neither in my opinion which this story thankfully avoids, I'm sure if you are reading for relatability you will still inevitably get that through lots of charcters being fleshed out all in a tough situation inevitably one will have parts that hit for you. overall its really good and I really hope the author continues this and it gets more traction because I really want to see where this story goes.

I have read up to chapter 47 on Patreon, and the story is so pleasing to read.
    Pros:
    - Good pacing
    - Interesting background
    - Complex MC
    - Curious side characters
    - Good time skips so the story doesn't become boring
    Cons:
    - Wish there was more already to read.

    Realistic reincarnator
Very well considered approach to reincarnating. I have read countless reincarnation stories, but the way this one handles it in the opening felt really well thought out and had a bit of realism to a person who is living through it
Realistic blend of the real world and fantasy elements
They really thought out how to anchor the story in the real world, while also weaving in a bit of fantasy into the backstory, and kicking us off into more and more fantastical stuff as the story progresses.
    Stronger to Strongester, done right
As a character that basically starts out at the peak of power for the world, we quickly reveal that this is a cultivation story and the heights that are possible will scale up unimaginably. Starting as the best "of humans" and having a huge advantage that is fun to read through, while also having real limits and prospective challenges that will be coming up that she will need to be much more powerful for, sets up a progression arc that promises to be fun to climb.
    MC with confidence
This part is kind of a mixed bag for me personally. I love that the MC is a strong and assertive woman. She also has good survival instincts in that she doesn't gloat or show off her power or involve herself in anything unnecessary. Love all that.
The only part that rings a little hollow is that she is so confident in her power even in the face of unknown situations that it can be a bit hard to care about someone so infallible. Which she mentally acknowledges that she is not more powerful than everything in front of her, but she is still way out beyond the realm of what her (considerable) experience can predict, and yet she is completely unflappable.
This concern is likely to clear up though, because the MC does still have good characterization, so likely the upcoming chapters will continue to "melt" her personality a bit as she relearns to care about people and at some point encounters things she didn't expect.

So far the story has quality, but mostly just a very standard interpretation of a bunch of existing genre staples and tropes. Other than the element of reincarnation, which isn’t that unique, it’s lacking an element to make it stand out and be special. The MC is fairly pessimistic, and doesn’t seem to value relationships much, so the cast is pretty limited so far. It’s still early days, so there is plenty of room to grow into something special, but it needs to find something to help it stand out.

Started really good with a very interesting concept and the world building is done very good, with the power system as well.
the biggest problem is the main character have absolutliy no personality. the idea that shes bored because she did everything makes sense, but i have zero attachments to her, and because of that most of the otger characters also dont really feel impactful.
could be really good with some tweaking to that problem, as the idea of the book is a good one
