A farmgirl and cityboy from two different planets are entwined in an unlikely friendship after being wrongfully framed of a crime. Together, they pull off a daring heist to steal a spaceship and escape their crumbling midworlds, adventuring around various solar systems taking various odd and dangerous jobs in search of fame and money.
