‘Money is Power’ - that was Rollo’s motto to live by before it came to a sudden end.
Those words couldn’t be truer when Rollo finds himself in a corporate-ruled dystopian world where corporations run rampant to line their own pockets. Find out how he navigates through the technologically advanced world with the help of a system and how he makes use of his advantages to survive in a cutthroat world where lives come cheap, all to come out on top.
One thing was clear in this new world: the poor were exploited while the wealthy thrived. The path to riches may be a vicious cycle, where you must keep spending more to protect yourself and the wealth you have attained until you reach the apex. What kind of impact will Rollo have on the world around him along the way?

- AurathasRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Style: I very much enjoy the style. The writer doesn’t hesitate to get you into the action and doesn’t drag on and on with their prose. It is a very clear and concise writing style, which is very much appreciated considering how often other stories can get bogged down by trying to emulate some extremely long-winded famous and traditional authors of the past. (You know who I’m talking about.)
Characters: The characters so far are interesting, but we don’t know a lot about them so far. However, I’m sure this will change as I am still very early in the story.
Grammar: The grammar is very good, you aren’t going to run into very many issues beyond a minor typo or missing punctuation, certainly nothing that would ruin your enjoyment of the story.
Story: Now, the story is the best part for me. I love the setting, I’ve always been a big fan of cyberpunk settings and having a story that adds in game elements? Sold. I also appreciate that the story leans heavily into the cyberpunk aspect with a variety of cybernetic implants, sleazy corporate overlords, government corruption, and an apocalyptic wasteland outside the cities filled with raiders. Seriously, check it out, you won’t regret it. - DanbdtRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The only issue with this one is the rate of update. But you can't trade quantity with quality!
Very good story, just enought system. At the start it kind feel really system dependent. But as of now in the late chapter, it's well balance.
I love cyberpunk so nothing to say about the world building.
Thanks author, you make my day with every update!❤️ - DawnofanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Had to make an account to review as I’m really enjoying it so far and I’ve weirdly seen identical low reviews of the loud minority, malicious individuals, or sheep’s that are just copying other reviews.
if you enjoy cyberpunk stories like ghost in the city, cyber dreams, or skitterdoc, you would definitely enjoy this.
Give it a try. - Killer NoobRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I absolutely love the story. The idea it’s absolutely unique the way it’s written as well done and the characters are well designed. I wish there’s a little bit more character development, but the story is spot on love the way the author puts the storyline together and leaves little hints here and there that he addresses and wastes that sometimes are anticipated and sometimes a complete surprise.
the story release is a little bit slow in my opinion and I’m always anticipating the next chapter.

beyond this point, there are spoilers:
The main character is amazing. I kind of wish he went into more details about the past before he died in the previous world
? The biggest problem I can have with the story is the lack of better communication or story between people in their love lives. It’s not something that really is required for the story, but is something I would love to have a bit more done not necessarily needed for the story though.
My favorite scene so far was when he got kidnapped and was getting extra information from the company got kidnapped for.
least favorite part so far was the bug hunting and sit down on the plane, but that was well done - T.A.L DeasonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0For fans of cyberpunk styled stories this is a good one. Roll is a money hungry every day guy just trying to make a buck and then his world changes. There is espionage, upgrades, cybernetics and killing! All in the name of the almighty credit.
the style is a good mix of cyberpunk and litrpg. The author does a great job of explaining the leveling and progression system. The MC has basically one motivation, make money and he falls right into his new world ready to do what he can to make that money!
grammar is very solid. No issue that I saw, or atleast none that take away from the story.
The story is familiar but definitely a more mature tone in play here. The MC Rollo doesn’t spend a lot of time dwelling on his new circumstance. He instead falls in and becomes a merc after deciding being a cashier in a cyberpunk world won’t cut it. He meets some friend along the way Ezra and Flo. They serve as the setup to him being part of a crew. I love the missions and the way the MC just accepts his new reality.
The characters are good. The MC Rollo is pretty driven by wanting to gain status and wealth. The side characters are colorful and seem way more at home in the cyberpunk setting. Overall the characters are strong enough to drive the story forward. - WontalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What a great story.
Well written, the characters are filled out and their reactions are believable. And the story has a satisfying end. Lots of unusual concepts including many old memes that are woven into the narrative.
My high recommendation for a new author. Also his new book is looking promising. - YacovoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A story about how someone experience in violence and business would do being put into a cyberpunk world. Action scenes paired with trying to build a startup.
Main character is nice, if a bit of murderhobo given the system he receives. Does kind things for those he seems innocent, and murders anyone he sees as wrong. At least he seems to acknowledge his tendencies.
Story is a bit slow paced on the business front, but understandable when trying to build a Corp from the ground up. Having to divide skill points between business skills and not dying skills is an interesting dynamic.
A nice read and will see if it keeps being interesting. - blackius420Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0A rockstar story, that hits pacing, character development, a MC who is more realistic than overpowered, touches on the good tropes while avoiding the abused and personally ones I find terrible. The setting is rock solid and has laid the groundwork for so much more to come. Had a good balance between action, espionage, slice of life, and avoid just dumping characters for no reason other than the author forgot about them. And a character who focuses on what he is good at instead of taking a role he is terrible at
- josefb27Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's based on Battle Angel Alita after the Ice Age, ain't it? Well written and engaging. I really like it. The characters still need some fleshing out. But everything else is awesome. 👌 keep up the good work. 👌 keep up the good work. 👌 keep up the good work. 👌 keep up the good work.
- callmeclumsyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Really liked the book. This is about a System in a cyberpunk world. Unique concept of nice CEO in a dystopia. I want to see how this pans out. I think the system could’ve been more fleshed out however, I like the idea of Upgrade Points over straight attribute points and its implementation in building a corporation within this dystopia. I also enjoy how the system is there to keep the MC focused on entering fights instead of hiding behind his minions. Good work Author!!
