Description

James never believed in reincarnation, souls nor too good to be true fantasy worlds that may or may not exist. So imagine his surprise when he was violently ripped from his body, transported to another world, and had his soul stuffed into the inventory slot of a trash hero all because of a certain incompetent God of reincarnation.

Armed with weaponized emotions and a hurting soul, James is determined to make his way out and have a chat with his perpetrator.

    ★★ 2.0
A decent idea overall, but incredibly poor writing quality, and some inconsistent details. A notable one being the main characters name. For now not worth a read, but maybe with an editor and some time it could be decent. It could also use a bit more explanation and information, given the nature of the story.

    ★★ 1.5
There are some rather jarring issues that make the story hard to read. Starting in chapter 2, the main character's name suddenly changes from James to Williams, though is consistent thereafter.
Most paragraphs are a single, run-on sentence. Incorrect capitalization (Him versus him), spelling mistakes, and potentially incorrectly auto-corrected words (pressures instead of pursuers) abound.
The original premise of being stuck in a low class hero's inventory is little more than a footnote as of chapter 8. The story suddenly takes a drastic setting shift with barely a single line of explanation.
To be honest, it feels like the author is either a younger writer or a non-native english speaker. Nothing wrong with that, it just means they need a little more practice and perhaps to spend a little extra time polishing the story.
To the author: Don't let this low star review get you depressed. Yes, I gave this story a 1.5 rating, but that is based on it's current state. Keep writing, carefully review what you write, and keep honing your skills. You may need to re-write the early chapters to improve the story, but beyond the sudden name change you can wait until you feel ready to do so.
