Somewhere We Belong is a gripping and emotional tale of brotherhood, survival, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going when the world turns against you. The writing is smooth and easy to follow, letting the story breathe while never losing momentum.
I was especially drawn to the dynamic between Will and Raik—human and werewolf, brothers by blood and by choice—who never stop protecting one another, no matter how dire the situation becomes.
I truly loved those characters. So real. So well written. Will is admirable. He could have walked away anytime but he never did. He is very clever. Even Raik shines. Unwilling to abandon his brother even when there is hope for him elsewhere. True brotherhood and family’s love.
There’s constant tension as the two are relentlessly hunted by the Guild, with every encounter adding stakes and urgency. Their shared past slowly unfolds, revealing the heartbreaking fate of their parents, which gives the story even more emotional depth.
The world itself feels lived-in, with dark caves and forests adding a haunting atmosphere to their desperate journey.
What elevates it further are the unexpected allies who offer rare moments of hope and the opportunities the MC could seize with a sanctuary to find.
If you’re looking for a character-driven fantasy with heart, danger, and powerful emotions, this is a definitive must-read. If you love good novels, this is for you. I can’t praise it enough. Discovered it by accident in the forum. Highly underrated in my opinion. I seriously hope more will discover this beautiful story. The author is talented making us love the characters and fear for them. This is what I call true story telling. Excellent!

A story about a sibling—one is the wolf, the other were.
The author throws us headfirst into a tense, visceral thriller where angry village mobs, led by a professional monster hunter, close in on the sibling from the very first chapter. But this is no mere action-adventure. Beneath the chase lies a deeper undercurrent, an exploration of what it truly means when we say blood runs thicker than water.
It's about belonging. It's about a sibling who knew they stood a better chance leaving the other behind and chose not to. About the search for a place that they could finally call home, not just a safe house.
The prose is evocative. Scene transitions glide effortlessly.
It begins with a wolf's bane: death lurking in the shadows.
Perhaps it'd end with a snowdrop: hope in the face of despair.
This is a tale best savored with a cup of chai—spicy, stirring, and comforting.
