Style: This has a nice, clean writing style. The descriptions, especially of the action sequences, painted a picture in my mind. The author has a great deal of potential and will most certainly continuing to refine the prose. I thought the amount of description was balanced well with the dialogue, but would not have minded more internal thoughts.
Story: The story has plenty of action and intrigue to offer. It's paced well, with beginning chapters that made me really curious to learn more about the world and to see what would happen next. I'm a sucker for brutal action and this offers plenty of it.
Grammar: It is well-edited. No complaints on grammar.
Character: Sera is a great character. I'm very picky about villainous leads because sometimes I can have a hard time connecting. Sera's devotion and empathy for the spirit tree is very compelling. She's convincingly ruthless and deserving of the role as MC, which only makes her love for the spirit tree that much more meaningful. I'm curious to see how she'll change as the story continues and how she'll impact the world around her. She may be brutal, but she does have some good points to make about how the spirit tree has been treated. I hope to see more fleshed out characters like Sera.
I don't review very often, but it's obvious a lot of effort went into creating this story, and feel like it deserves to be recommended.

Hey! Check out this story! I've actually read some of it because I love Tree. The world needs more tree fics. And Sera is great. It has the OP MC that's promised, but there'll also be some massive potential for further growth in the future. And I will say, I found the antagonistic forces to be particularly interesting in this story. They start out the story only one step away from winning.

It's enjoyable. The main character is competent and confident, and the side characters aren't annoying (so far). The pacing is good, in my opinion. I feel like with a lot of these kinds of stories, the plot progresses at mach 100 as the author tries to shove a million action sequences and bits of artificial conflict to try to hold the reader's attention. This one isn't slow, and there is action, but it feels more natural and less forced. That could change though. It's too early to tell for certain.
If I had to complain about something, I think the dialogue could use some work. It's not bad, but it is a bit clunky, and the characters always saying exactly what needs to be said, and not leaving room for a whole lot else, which makes the exchanges sometimes feel a little rushed and unnatural. Again though, it's not bad, and definitely not worse than most other stories on this site. Just an area I think could use some improvement.
Overall, while imperfect, it's enjoyable, and I have no major issues with it, so 5 stars.

This story’s quite intriguing. A spin on something old.
We see a dungeon growing with an avatar who’s old.
She quests for things to aid her, and travels realms most dark.
No Disney songs of heroes to guide her on her larks.
Instead, she’s out there growing, doing what she must,
gathering up allies and others she can trust.
The grammar is quite flawless. It won’t cause you any harm.
In the past and in third, no need for some alarms.
The style, like some others, makes me smile wide.
While there hasn’t been some poetry, metaphors abide.
All in all, it’s fun to read it and play with awesome prose.
The system won’t cause havoc. It’s built within the flows.
The story seems intriguing, but it’s only just begun.
We’ll see just where it takes us. No doubt, there will be fun.
Still, it’s a darker story. The villain sweeps the stage.
Like a final sunset, the dark will take its place.
The characters are growing. I’m sure they’ll take the stage.
For now, it’s hard to judge them and know what fans their flames.
If you’re in the mood for villainy, mixed with a dungeon core,
go ahead and try it out, of that I do implore.

It is a good story with not that many character but enough to have a grate pacing.  For the style sometime it switch between character has main so the grading is lower ( my preference sorry) if nothing else it's good great character, and for now the story is great, a dungeon building intrigue and mysteri style.

I waited until I read the entire story before writing a review to be as confident as possible. The story itself starts off very well, but there are some inconsistencies right from the start. For example, when Sera first arrives, she doesn't get injured to use her powers. However, she does, saying that natural magic requires a kind of tribute to be used. As the story progresses, you begin to see and feel an urgency to finish the story; everything speeds up for no apparent reason or explanation. For example, we learn nothing about the other three Elder Dryads, nor is Sera's winter journey completed, nor are the other three journeys. Haziel suddenly becomes stronger. In the first fight with Dante, he more or less manages to win, and then in the second fight, Dante and Zoha together fail to defeat her. Sera herself is immediately crushed without being able to do anything. And when she gains more power, Haziel suddenly becomes even stronger. During the book, when Sera discovers the truth, we're given to understand that Sera's purpose had changed: to become a deity herself and then find a way to resurrect the other four Elder Dryads who were betrayed, abandoned, and eliminated. This path is essentially abandoned; there's no real conclusion to what was said; they were simply abandoned. Which is a shame, because the story had great potential, but it wasn't developed to reach a pointless conclusion. The ending, like the one above, makes Sera's entire story pointless and pointless. I was expecting something like Sera's rise to divinity, the resurrection of the other four Elder Dryads, and then an epic showdown with their Traitor mode. Everything was abandoned for a lame ending; a real shame, I was disappointed.
