There is a lot of isekai stories on RR. Genre is pretty crowded. So it is always good to find a new interesting one.
Story so far is closer to Aladdin gone wrong than assassin creed. But I enjoy it a lot. The MC reacts quite believably and his initial struggles are quite well depicted. I always have trouble le with stories were average joe turns into hyper competent James Bond in 3 chapters. Here, James actually struggles, makes mistakes. And while and I don’t enjoy others’ sufferings, I enjoy reading something that is not pulled from author bottom cheeks or for the sake of cliffhangers, nor to appease the reader.
it’s well written, and the pacing made me binge 25 chapters in a day.
i will follow this story.
