in an age long forgotten by everyone but the oldest of gods an age remembered only as 'the divine purge' saw to the deaths of thousands of gods as they where hunted by a race that became addicted and dependent on feasting on the blood of deities which resulted in a war that ended in the complete eradication of the race known as the 'god eaters'

or so it should have been.
