    Let me start with the beginning. This is not for everyone and requires a lot of patience and attention. The first 20ish chapters were for the lack of a better term pretty uneventful. There were some moments which were noteworthy, but other than that the story felt rather bland. The big pull for me was the world building. I mean it makes sense as it is a slow burn, but it could have been handled better.
    But as the story picked up steam and the pieces started to fall into place, man it got sooooo good. All the small set pieces that were set up without us even realizing started to pay off as the chapters rolled by.
    The fight scenes were amazing but this is much more that a simple fight to get stronger story. It's more conceptual if that makes sense. Like the addition of time and existence (still not fully sure what is going on there, but it's a part of the intrigue). It truly is a unique and fresh take in the genre despite a standard start.
    Most of the characters keeping a few aside were rather plain, but it made sense as it was from the MC's perspective and once it's revealed what he knew and had locked up. OUF. Chapter 71 was truly spectacular.
    Also for the main villan, I don't even know if he is even evil, not in the standard sense ofc. There is so much depth to the story and some of the fleshed out characters.
    Finally the earlier chapter could definitely use some rework. I mean they were not bad, but they weren't spectacular either. The story at least for me picked up around chapter 40 and once I reached that point there was no turning back.
    Final final thing. Zoey is the best.

    Essence Archive is a genuinely compelling progression epic. The world-building is consistent and impressive, with each new location adding depth to the setting instead of just serving as a backdrop to make the world feel big. The system is organic and well woven into the story, feeling less like a mechanical checklist and more like a natural extension of the characters’ lives. It quickly moves from raw exposition to action-driven revelation, keeping momentum once the opening chapters settle in. The characters are well designed and developed. Zoey, who is so far my favorite character, went from just comic relief into a character with real vulnerability and heart. The other characters also add emotional stakes and weight to the story, showing their own growth while pushing the narrative forward.
    The first few paragraphs were a bit rough, and there are some issues in the pacing, particularly due to heavy exposition. Dialogue often slightly dive into info-dumping, and the secondary characters, although great, revolve a bit too much around the Mc in ways that sometimes feel limiting.
    Essence Archives has epic battles, interesting characters, weight, and a realistic world that feels lived-in. While there are still some stylistic rough edges, the book has insane potential. If you like progression fantasy and LitRPG with heavy lore, I definitely recommend it.

    Started Essence Archives, and it feels like something different. The writing is atmospheric and pulls you into a world that seems dark, mysterious, and clearly layered with a lot of hidden depth. There’s a sense that the story isn’t just about action or typical fantasy tropes, but feels more thoughtful, almost like it’s leading somewhere bigger.
    Too early to say how it'll unfold, but it has definitely caught my interest. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

    Omg this was everything I had ever wanted in a book. Every chapter feels like a short film, and the level of immersion it provides, the high tension, you can’t even blink while reading. In the era of same old lit rpgs done over and over again, I really do appreciate an author willing to take risks instead of just following the already working formula. Maybe the only downsides are sometimes the pace feels slower than the usual but nothing extreme just makes you skim through some descriptions (that might just be a me thing cause my attention span is cooked🥀) and NOT ENOUGH CHAPTERS! We need more, but I understand since author seems like the quality over quantity type perfectionist. Writing quality is top notch and I really hope this book gets the love it deserves!

    The Author knows what he is doing, there no wasted scene in this story, he has a clear idea of what exactly he wants and expresses it accordingly.
    The story being a litRPG avoids the pitfall that the other in its genra fell to often, it has element of litRPG but with its own twist, it avoids being too much game-like and all the element of its genre almost take a backseat until and unless the story requires it.
    Because the story is more of an adventure to uncover the mysteries of the Archives,  the unfamiliar world, and their own pasts.
    The writing style is very vivid and expressive, it's not direct, and I like the way it makes me imagine their world
    The charecters are likeable, compliment each other nicely, while they follow an archetype they avoid leaning too much into it.
    I really like the pacing of the story, it flows really good as soon as you are about to be bored with EXPLORATION stuff, it shifts to blood pumping ACTION, and when that start gets too much , it shifts again and drip feeds you EXPOSITION knowledge. Nothing over stays its welcome.
    The Author got the rythem of the story down perfectly.
    Eagerly waiting for more.

    I have not got very far, but with chapters on the longer side, it is enough to from an opinion. And my opinion is that it isn't bad. But there is nothing good either, which is why my rating is "fine, meh".
    Out of a few problems I managed to pick out:
    1. Names. They are ... complex. When reading, complexity of words matters, and names that are basically a gibberish of sounds are difficult to remember. Not that you can't have them, but having 4 complex names, on top of having to remember like a dozen names of other people, all within first a few chapters... It is just needlessly difficult.
    2. System. "Statless" it is, no arguing there, and I to be honest also like Litrpg not Gamelit (those are confused way too often). There is just a problem: other then having no stats, it has little prominence. Its just not exiting at all. And this is a litrpg, so thats kinda an important part...

    Everything is good except storytelling. Paragraphs are cut by contradictory sentences. For example;
    It could be seen but not be touched/it can be heard but can't be smelled/he did it but actually didn't it/Fire was hot but didn't burn.
    Another thing that breaks immersion is how the structure of the paragraphs and sentences. There are so many lone sentences at the end of long paragraphs. Reading so many short sentences quickly tires the reader. For example;
    He went here.
    He saw a figure telling things.
    Then he slowly came back.
