This is a reality broken by fantasy. Eerily like our own, a universe in peril.

What could only be described as an existential crisis, the Shift Noumena has forever altered the course of human history. Cosmic waves that warp everything in their path, spawning creatures that shouldn't haveeverexisted, and dramatically changing climates so radically, they become unstable realms of existence. All humanity can possibly do now, is to try in vain to integrate something by it's nature inhumane. And stare towards the skies, in wait for the sky to fall down.

However. Something has begun to "unlock" within humans--especially ones that survive the Noumena events. siVis, "modern enlightenment", gives the user the ability to become just as much an anomaly as this existential crisis--and of course the youth that grew up during these times are prepared to seek this power out... But our protagonists aren't so lucky. This isn't another heroic tale, but a story about growing up--during a time that where life literally didn't make sense.
