Volume 1 is now Available on Amazon!
The opening of Pandora's Box changed the world, giving rise to an age of superhumans and monsters. Yet mankind was not safe from its own hubris, and in the end, it destroyed itself. It's the end of the world, but Sonya Chernovna has been given a chance for a redo. With her memories of the world to come and her deep hatred of the society that had risen out of Pandora's Light, Sonya sets out to change the future.

- AusphelianRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I started this read, thinking it'd be something more chill, mercantile kind of thing.
I was wrong. Boy was I wrong!
I've never jumped over to Kindle so quickly before...partially because I made the mistake of not looking for a stubbening. It is what it is, this is the first perfect five out of five review I've ever given.
I binged through all of volume one in maybe two days and was *immediately* distraught that I wouldn't have time to binge Volume to on RR due to it being published at the end of that week. The Author is a god and I didn't have to wait. Anyway, I made my title comment probably around chapter 25-30 when I reached out to share it with my friend group. I said it directly to the Author when I finished Volume One.
I can confidently, without a doubt in my mind, say I've been proven correct, time and time again, in the 320 chapters I've read.
Its not a matter of giving this story a chance. It's only a matter of whether or not you are ready for the journey you're about to experience.
So tell me, are you Hero? Or are you Villain? - BlueRequimRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I would say this is a super villain story done right, the MC ain't bloodthirsty one sided violent Villain but instead it's a cool headed pragmatic person who knows what she has to do to help the world and she ain't afraid of getting her hand dirty for It.
Honestly really great, I recommend it 1000% - Dominick RRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A great look at what I view is a true anti-hero. Someone willing to do whatever is needed to save the world. Including heinous acts. A great dive in depth on a MC with an iron will and a cool powerset. Can't wait to see what the author does in the future, only thing I want to see more of is more chapters!
- NYX.Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love the book the concept is beyond cool, the author doesnt make any grammatical errors ive caught and the story flows quite smoothly, i kinda got lost in the whole alternate persona thing but after a reread i got it.
also author if you are reading this (I'm a reader and and a fan of your book The Broker. I've had it it saved in my bookmarks for some time as i have been swamped with university and work. I stopped reading on chapter 143 and now I'm on reading week for school ( a week off) and i thought I'd catch up only to find the book stubbed, i know this is bold request to ask for permissions to read the stubbed chapters but please man. i really don't have the money to buy the book on amazon and im only 20 chapters off from where you stubbed it. If you get this please consider my request.) - PENPLOTTERRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Loving this so far. It has kept me up most of this week binging through the story.
Gutted I just got to the end of the current chapters. Can't wait to see what's next!
The fact that your starting to blend multiple genres into a single story is interesting.
Keep up the Great work - SienikiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I loved this so much! The plot is progressing nicely, MC is a cheeky bastard, and I can't wait to see her literal cult grow. The anti-hero vibe is done beautifully and without being the extreme edginess it usually succumbs to and the whole secret identities and being on both sides at once is muahhh. I so look forward to where this goes.
Keep being awesome mighty Author - YourStoryTierHasUpgradedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don't read much superhero stories, but I do read lots with villainess protagonists.
It's a bit of a rocky start, at least it was for me since I'm not the best at continuing things if it doesn't immediately grip me. But once the plot starts kicking off and the plans put into action, Sonya definitely becomes one of my favourite villains I've seen written on RR.
Especially because she is able to pull everything off and live a double life with the inability to lie. Which is a power move in itself imo.
I don't know what about this story keeps me in its cluches specifically, the intresting broker power? The characters? Or the way both sides of the hero and villain conflict are basically orchestrated by the same person?
When will Sonya meet her wife in this life? 😔
Maybe I'm the one shaking hands with Sonya, promising to read it all for nothing in return except a story that's a little more intresting than others. But I'm in for the ride and don't plan on leaving soon 😌.
At this point the fic has become a comfort-level fic, so this review is definitely biased lmao. Though I do invite you to at least check it out if it seems interesting. Bonus in that it updates quickly :)
The grammar in chapters usually has a few small mistakes, but the author is pretty decent at correcting them semi-quickly as far as I'm aware :)👍 - aka_MAXRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0"Broker" is one of those rare stories that truly stands out on Royal Road, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Here’s why:
**World-Building**
I love how "Broker" is set during the early days of a powered society. It’s incredibly interesting to see a world where superpowers are just starting to emerge. The author's take on how this world would evolve is both fascinating and believable. I find myself eagerly following how the society changes and how the MC influences its direction.
**Main Character**
The MC is absolutely captivating. Her powers, similar to AFO from "My Hero Academia," make her incredibly powerful, and she uses her abilities in such smart, strategic ways. She’s confident, even arrogant at times, but it feels earned. Her pragmatism and willingness to do whatever it takes for what she believes is right make her a complex and compelling character.
**Side Characters**
While the MC’s close allies can be frustrating and sometimes seem to work against her, other side characters like Shark and the detective add a lot to the story. They’re well-developed and bring different dynamics that enrich the narrative.
**Antagonists**
I’m really intrigued by the hints about the main villain, who hasn’t appeared yet but whose abilities seem perfectly designed to challenge the overpowered MC. The current antagonists are weaker, but they serve their purpose in moving the story forward and highlighting the MC’s growth.
**Story and Themes**
"Broker" is a supervillain story done right. The MC is not a mindless villain; she’s a cool-headed, pragmatic individual who believes in her mission. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty for what she sees as the greater good. The plot is engaging, with elements of political and economic intrigue, an impending apocalypse, and personal growth for the MC. These layers keep me deeply invested in the story.
**Conclusion**
In summary, "Broker" has captured my imagination with its unique world-building, compelling main character, an - darkrikeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is good.
The grammar is good. Mostly just a few mistaken pronounce.
The Characters are good. Simple or uncomplicated.
The story is good. I like what going on and what will happen.
Style is a little so and so. Basically how the story is told. Can’t really put a name on the problem. But it has to do with the character's interactions plus sometime whats happening and what character are saying is not on point.
-Example - talking about how the MC loves to her lover while it is the MC that needs to hear it and the lover has no context or need to hear it.
Either way. It is minor and smooths out as the story continues.
This is good and I am excited for more! - eloigioRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’ve only reached chapter 5 so far but I love the book already. The style and character are great so far . Halfway trough the first chapter I knew I was gonna love the book.
tho I wonder how OP her ability will get and if she can use it on her self to find out what her eyes do .
