Description

My name is Sol. After the Machine Gods killed the human race, I was transported to a fantasy world. Except it was not a normal world. There was a System, but it was fading and weak. It did not have enough energy to give people Classes and Skills, and another piece of civilization crumbled after each Beast Tide. The only way to gain magic was to hunt for cores, enslave monsters and perform profane rituals. Or do something that everyone thought was impossible. I did it. I forged an unbreakable bond, sacrificing everything to save an angel and a demon from a fate worse than death. Now we are in this together, trying to save a world on the brink of annihilation. The System must be restored, and its secret uncovered. Or else all will be lost to the monsters that roam the land. After reading Infinity Dungeon, I honestly have to say that I really, genuinely didn’t expect the story to develop in the direction it’s currently heading. It kind of caught me off guard in a surprisingly pleasant way, because it feels like Luca is either experimenting with something completely new or—who knows—maybe he got replaced, or perhaps Icarus somehow infiltrated his RR account and is secretly writing chapters behind the scenes. At this point, anything feels possible.
What I especially appreciate is that certain parts of the story aren’t strictly required reading. You can basically skip them if you dont like stuff like this, and it won’t mess with your understanding of the main plot. You can really tell (or read?) that it’s something new he’s trying out. It gives the whole thing a unique vibe that makes it enjoyable even for someone like me, who normally doesn’t need this kind of extra material.
I’m genuinely excited to see where the story will go from here, and I honestly can’t wait for more chapters to drop so I can keep reading. It just feels like it’s building toward something interesting, you know.
And of course, huge respect to Famine Bringer for delivering such a detailed, complex review while somehow managing to use basically zero filler words. That’s a skill I clearly do not possess (I got some inspiration of him/her idk and certain programs because my english is mediocre at best).
(It would make sense, wouldn’t it.)

Alright, I am going to make the most optima use of my expansive vocabulary I forged from years of reading in order to optimally enlarge the exact quantity of words that this review contains. Should you have the rather reasonable desire to know what my review is shortened, I will leave a “TL;DR” or “To Long; Didn’t/Dont read” at the end so that you could be informed of the content of the review without needing to wade through the large quantity and quality of words that I will utilize.
To start, this author has shown competence in past stories, clearly displaying that they are no novice to the art of wordsmithing, however is would seem that the Romance/Harem Genre is  unexplored territory for them (as stated within the bounds of their discord) and so I will say the review is based upon the author being new to the Romance Subspace. Also, be warned, minor spoilers ahead.
From the first nine chapters, it is shown that the world the author has created is already made well, and from just surface level information, it is clear that most of the system is at the very least thought about. Though it is possible I am reading too deeply… I still find that the Bonds and the systems use of them to grant classes is interesting. The Equals Bond that Sol obtains with the two girls (who’s name I am hardcore blanking on) grants him a unique class, though it would appear as though he had to sacrifice a different class and the ability to gain skills in order to make the Equals Bond in the first place. Oh hey, I hit the word requirement… I’m gonna go back to normal talking
So, TL;DR is basically the System and Magic seems interesting, and the characters have, like, a couple THOUSAND YEARS of history at least, so we know there will be juicy lore to discover. Outside of the Story itself, the Spelling and such is just as good as expected, the only issue is the Author being new to the Romance Scene means they lack the Extensive Vocabulary of one who has worked there longer or forever, though

Enjoying the pace and settings. Took a bit to get used to the idea of this system, but it's unique and I'm liking how the author is progressing the story.
Gotta think up more words for a review. This is why I don't normally fill these out. See this story is special otherwise I wouldn't type this much. Whew...

The original title idea: Good Story, Worldbuilding and System show great potential
(i definitely don't write this to pad the wordcount)
The Worldbuilding and what we begin to see of human culture in the story (at the point of writing this) is interesting, the system is mostly intuitive and the parts of it that aren't seem like they will lead into the larger overall plot later.

This is one of those stories that wears its tags on its sleeve LitRPG, romance, and harem and actually delivers on all three without feeling like it’s ticking boxes. What surprised me most is that beneath the familiar setup, there’s a steady effort to give the characters and their relationships some emotional weight, not just surface-level attraction.
The premise leans into a darker, slightly edgier tone compared to the usual power-fantasy fare. The “fallen” aspect isn’t just aesthetic it shapes the world, the conflicts, and especially the companions the protagonist gathers along the way. There’s a sense that these characters come with baggage, and while not every backstory is deeply explored yet, the story does enough to hint at layers beyond their archetypes.
The LitRPG system is fairly clean and readable. It doesn’t overwhelm you with stat dumps every chapter, which is a big plus. When numbers do show up, they feel relevant—either marking a meaningful progression or reinforcing a key moment in combat or character growth. The progression itself is satisfying in that steady, incremental way rather than relying on sudden, unbelievable spikes in power.
Where the story stands out most is in how it handles the romance/harem elements. It’s definitely present and unapologetic, but it doesn’t immediately devolve into a checklist of conquests. There’s actual buildup—banter, tension, moments of vulnerability. The dynamics between characters feel like they’re evolving rather than instantly locking into place. That said, if you’re not a fan of the genre, this won’t convert you; the harem angle is central, not optional.
Writing style is straightforward and easy to read, which suits the platform well. It’s not overly flowery, but it gets the job done and occasionally lands some nice emotional beats. Dialogue flows naturally most of the time, though there are moments where characters sound a bit too similar or lean into familiar tropes. Still, it rarely breaks immersion.

The story has good potential, we get sucked into a fantasy world where the system is failing, and the MC meets two millenia old angel and demon that are stuck in a trap or prison or whatever you call it.
Now, the issue I have with the story is the inconsistency, first in the characters where the "angel" is shy sometimes, and super bold some other times and the opposite with the demon, and it feels like the characters don't have a distinct separate voice from each other.
Same with the "amnesia" in the first few chapters, the characters know somethings about the system because the plot needed it to, and then later on, they have no clue how anything works.
And then, we finally get to the spoiler part
when the MC decides, on a whim, to tell all his secrets to this one dwarf who hires him for a job, and just divulges they have a one of a kind bond that has never been seen before, also after they banter loud as fuck in front of everyone for no reason (mind you these characters are supposed to be 15,000 years old at a minimum). Of course, the guy they divulge this to is somehow the only one in the city who would help them and not take advantage! wow what a coincidence!
It feels like the author had a really good idea and worldbulding, but then is now rushing the events without making them seem believable to tell the story he wants to tell, but its just not working for me.
