In a starless and lonely place, beyond the edge of what is known, is the planet Dargoul. Horrible beasts foreign and familiar, compete for the right to lay their claim on this savage wilderness, and humanity has but one advantage over them all: Magick.

So powerful are their abilities, that humans have become the new gods of Dargoul. Their dark and horrific natures, left unrestrained by any true gods, has plunged the world into an era of endless conflict, strife, and sorcery. However, when a scorned beast born of the world's own womb, steps forth to free the world from the tyranny of the human, he discovers that their powerful abilities were granted by something more than just chance.

A force, malevolent and dark, has cast its influence upon Dargoul from beyond time, and soon it will descend upon this world to collect the debt that humanity owes it.
