Description

The Confederacy of Aligned Systems has been deeply wounded. Wracked by unceasing warfare and beset by enemies without number, they have still done their best to defend their allies and member states. But a new challenge has arrived. With humanity on the edge of reemergence, can the Confederacy hold out long enough for the Terrans to arrive in time to help? (This story takes place after First Contact/Behold Humanity and Dark Ages. It is STRONGLY recommended that a prospective reader read both installments)

If you don't then you won't get a lovely weekend safety briefing in the authors comments. Also check out First Contact, same author, just as good and holy crap 1k chapters.

I have been an avid reader since 4th grade, an unfortunate amount of time ago. I got pointed towards royal road a few months ago by a friend and found a few decent reads on here, but mostly just stop gap reads between books I could find. This story, and First Contact, is in a league of its own. It is one of the most impressive and well written stories I have ever come across. Do you want action? It has it. Comedy? It’s there. Emotional rollercoasters that leave you considering life and the way we as people think and act? All the way. The author has made something here that is nothing short of amazing. It’s the work of someone who has lived life and seen some shit, and it’s in every page he writes. I hope this story never ends

So right, but so wrong - an amazing paradox within the hamburger kingdom - the perfect unbiased leader selection mechanism completely legal, validated, authorised, notarised, and  certified with the legally mandated level of corruption, graft, and rigging.
If you don't know what i'm talking about you havn't read the book yet. You might be a little lost if you haven't read the epic 'First Contact' , ralt's prior novel, but it mostly stands by itself ...
Rather than replacing this review, i'm just going to add another paragraph at the beginning every time i hit a chapter that i feel deserves a 5/5.

Every time I get an update that a new chapter is available I smile and it makes the day a little better than it was.  Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us!
This is an original story with so many references to other great lore.  I love the fact that we get a story that goes back and forth in time and covers tens of thousands of years!

Pedal to the metal storytelling that builds its context as it goes.
It switches viewpoints, time scales, universes, species and empires to cover the entire tale at a swift pace.
This is a continuation of a previous story, complete with recurring Empires and characters.
It's action packed, amazing, weird, momentous and emotional writing well worth being crushed by.

These stories are so awesome, the setting is on an epic scale that makes all other settings seem shallow. The writing style is overwhelming quality, action on small and large scales, characters with deep motivations, and the author writes like a machine.
I'm so glad this fiction picks up where the last one left off.

Favorite story on here, doesn’t try to make humanity look better than we are while still showing how incredible we can be. While still including the absolutely ridiculous and making it feel believable in context. Very fun, loving every word of it. It’s making me want to rere adF First contact. . My text has disappeared from the box. Hopefully this is readable

How do you even describe Ralts Bloodthorne’s work? Imagine tossing HFY into a blender, adding every sci-fi show, internet meme, and existential crisis you’ve ever had—then hitting purée. That’s Nova Wars. And boy, you’ll enjoy the ride—especially if you survived his “short” 1000-chapter warmup Behold Humanity (aka First Contact). Strap in. Sh*t gets weird.

I still dont understand how Ralts did it but he managed to thow together every scifi world in existance and make it somehow coherent. I dont know what he's on when he writes, but I want some.
Plot is action packed utter chayos. With plot twists left, right, front, and center. This isn't a story meant to be heavily realistic, it's fun, and slightly insaine, with it's fair share of tugs on the ol heart strings.
I've enjoyed the past 1000+ chapters and have no doubt I'll be enjoying many more to come.

This is one of the stories of all time, I can tell you that much.
But the thing that has kept me hooked ever since I read that first post on r/HumanityFuckYeah is, that the story is batshit insane.
I have never before witnessed such madness executed in a manner like this before, and the way everything snaps together when you find that last piece is near euphoric.
I highly recommend reading the entirety of First Contact, Dark Ages and now Nova wars.
The grammar missteps sometimes, but when you're making something for days if not weeks at a time you're bound to make a few flaws.
