I love your highly descriptive writing style You truly bring every part of your Characters and your world to life in the minds eye I can see it all so clearly five stars on the descriptive writing.
The Dark Humor and also the Wiki Descriptions of The Enemies the Items I love your humor it resonates with me I love Pete's Mostly Functional Armor it cracked up when I read
A massive anvil hung precariously above the door, swaying in the breeze.
That's going to kill someone, Mindt thought.
Aida: Two people so far. Don't worry, both rezzed.
large anvil that is just hanging above  I love how when Mindts inventory bot goes into Pete's Inventory is  Cache: Rusty Pete's filing system is absolute chaos! Chainmail mixed with plate armor? Gauntlets sorted by 'Number of Remaining Fingers'? And - Is that helmet being used as a soup bowl? Oh my word. That greave still has a leg in it. Someone get a tissue.
I love the different AI used for the Cache and Aida How Each one that is different in every single character five stars
I really am enjoying the special classes and all the wiki humor explanations I laughed so hard when Retro became the Dad class and his attacks like I'm not mad I'm just disappointed so funny Bro.
Then the heartfelt twist when Retro Changes the Diaper of the  Magister Palora
your are truly ticking all Freudian Boxes
I can feel as if in times of our lives we have been all the Characters. Like I feel I went through my butterknife stage somewhere between  covid  allot of us did.  Then in some places in time of Our lives we experience the Mindt mindset as well.  Financial Issues Living paycheck to paycheck educating ourselves in the markets so we can get that to the moon investment that will set us financially  for life.  Then there is the Game Master Himself The AI who is basically like a child in a sand box playing with al

The world building reminds me of the Foundryside series. Very well written and I gotta say I'm hooked! The action scenes are vivid, and the characters personalities really come through. The humor is well placed and makes this dark scenario a bit lighter when its needed. The shift in perspectives also adds a certain level of chaos and reminds you that MANY are going through the same game but different solutions and approaches. All the D&D references and connections are also very welcome.

Loved it! Was drawn in right from the beginning and wanted to carry on reading. Would recommend to anyone who loves fan fictions and wants to be immersed into some reading! Whoever has written this is very talented and will definitely read some more of their work. Thank you for creating this!

I'm 6 chapters in and am taking the time to leave a review because it's that good.
I'm really excited to see where this story goes. It has a very well written start, a fun and unique 'system-intro' with a lot of personality and room to grow, and I can't wait to see how it takes on the real-world issues it has, by Chekhov's Gun, declared as targets. Kudos wiznaibus!
    Back to reading!

I pretty much laid it all out when I commented on chapter 19. But overall, I love the concept! It is very creative and anyone can enjoy it, especially if you are into post apocalyptic, technology takes over the world type of stories. Which, I am! I can’t wait to see the final result.

Coming from CCC (@Alita), wasn't sure what to expect. The premise of reality turning into a video game has been done a lot, but I'm glad this so far doesn't seem to be a simple power fantasy. I found myself chuckling more often than not at the descriptions, dialogue and antics. (Dadbard and Lettuce made me chuckle). I'm curious to see why the Zombies are non-hostile. The cast of characters so far is likable and distinct.

When I first saw this story on CCC, I'll admit I was interested but I only saw it as an audiobook audition so I didn't know about the novel until today.
I was not disappointed when I first started reading. In my personal opinion, the story is built well built and I have remained so captivated that I binge read the current story in an hour.
I love how the perspectives get switched so we aren't just seeing the situation from on point of view but from multiple giving a real nice view of the situation and how people are handling it.
Also love the various references in the story as well as its connection to real life with the ai taking over in both instances. A sort of social commentary of sorts.
A whole lot of potential with this story so I look forward to seeing where it goes next. Keep up the good work!

The story so far has got me hooked! However I say that the concept of how the game works should be changed a bit to where it’s not an exact match or too close of a match to how the game D&D works? (I know the book is partially inspired by D&D) I just don’t want to author to be hit with copyright or anything. Other than that I’m hooked so far and very curious about how everything came to be!

Great idea and well presented. It was compelling enough that I read straight through chapters 1-10 without stopping except to briefly answer my wife's question about what I was reading.
In terms of structure, I thought the formatting was great for easily distinguishing who/what was talking. I did find a few grammatical oddities, but nothing major.

I am @austin-ao-mcnamara on CCC, also going by Austin AO Murphy.
As I'm a huge fan of stories where characters are trapped in an alternate world--particularly that of video games--we were already off to a good start. The inclusion of interesting near-sci-fi elements with the introduction inside a faraday cage and the AI quickly taking things over in a forceful way opens the doors to many conversations about AI today. While I do wish I knew more about the world itself in the first few chapters, it's worth a read.
