    Hello Royalist. How are you?
I chanced upon your book the Liar's Tale and I am very interested in the concept. There have been many good books that talk about lies and deceipt, and this one has an interesting idea that's hidden inside your words.
Your opening sentence caught my attention, 10 Points! The formatting as a bit here and there, so I easily lost track of what your were trying to say, but you compensate by drawing my attention your your actions.
The dual perspective of the soldiers and the boy felt like something from the series 24 hours, where multiple things are happening as the timer goes down. You were very clear to differentiate which writing or action belong to the Soldiers and the Lying Protagnist (I hear them at the door, so I smashed a bottle to my head).
The confusion were some parts in the story, such as the 'Fathers' reaction of having his son betray him, taking the blame as if he really did it, and how the wife and himself were 'chill about it'. I apologize if I missed any detail that were crucial in leading up to this.
The backstab on the soldier that rescued the boy was... unexpected. I did catch the fact he wanted revenge, but the critical reason behind it wasn't emphasized. Everything was moving at a too fast pace, I was still trying to grasp what was happening when the boy smashed the bottle to his head. I had troubling taking in the point where the protagonist stab the soldier, attempt to kill Red-Eyes, and got caught with a... thank you?
The best thing in relating to this story feels like a unique Game of Thrones atmosphere. Peope backstabbing each other with class and... I wouldn't say dignity, but how the good old Medieval people do it.
Please continue to do your best! Your writing is strong and is waiting for that moment to rush onto the fields and embrace its freedom!
