I saw this in the 'Others also like' section of my novel. Every time I'd go to check on my own series this would always be the first one I'd see. I usually don't read a lot, but I've been fairly bored and decided to check this out since it kept catching my eye.
I'll start with my main criticism. The beginning felt a little rushed, and jumbled. It was hard to get into the shoes of the main character, and then the big plot point happens so suddenly in chapter 2 that starts her on her quest, and had little development and room to feel impactful. There are also a few grammatical issues here and there. English is not my first language and so at times I can be really bad at reading, and there were a couple of instances where weird sentencing caused me to do a few double takes.
    Now for the good.
The world building and interesting and fun to see slowly expanded. Chapters aren't tiny, and while I wish they would be bigger, they do a good job of telling the story they need to.
The real meat however is with the characters. What might have been a fairly simple and generic fantasy world is opened so much by the protagonist. While I don't like how quick the beginning was, she is a fun character, and it is nice to see how she reacts to the world around her as it expands and opens.
The plot does a good job of making you root for her quickly, and want to watch her succeed.
Overall I'd say it is a good read and I hope to see more and catch up.
