With no class, she’s forced to join the Adventure’s Guild. After all, killing a few monsters shouldn’t be that much harder compared to killing voidlings, right?
- The dialogue is crisp and witty:
“Isn’t it possible you just went… a little bit crazy?” the blonde girl suggested idly.
“Rude,” Amelia said flatly.
- The main character, Amelia, and her sidekick, Noele, are polished and fun to read.
- The syntax and punctuation are solid.
- The story is lighthearted and enjoyable.

I feel like a proud reader who has witnessed an author become better and better as time passes. This latest story is interesting and well written, and, in my opinion, a step above the author's other works.
The Level Zero [Hero] by MelasD is an exciting, action-packed tale of a hero’s journey that captures the reader’s attention from the very beginning. The story follows Amelia, a strong and determined protagonist who is thrust into a strange new world with its own set of rules. Amelia is given an opportunity to take on the role of a hero, but is determined to just live a normal life instead.
The setting is the usual Videogame style with classes, levels, experience, and so forth.
The story is written in a third-person point of view, and the author does an excellent job of making the reader feel as if they are following Amelia’s journey. Through the vivid descriptions of the world and its inhabitants, the readers get a real sense of what Amelia is going through.
I always prefer a female main character, and Amelia is a great one. She's tough, no nonsense, but is rational and not a murderhobo.
Overall, The Level Zero [Hero] is an enjoyable read that is filled with suspense, excitement, and a good female main character. It is a great story for readers who enjoy fantasy and overpowered protagonists, as well as those looking for a thrilling read. Highly recommended.

A really nice read once you get to the juicy content. At first, the story may present itself as OPM-like (one punch man) or stories where the character is simply too op. Well, it is that, but it's far more than just such.
Amelia is not a Hero, or at least, she doesn't want to be one. By all means, she has the power to become whatever she desires, but because of this, she loses what she most yearns for: the freedom of being Amelia. She wants to live life as herself, not as a Hero.
As selfish as it may seem, she has her reasons for such actions. This is also a fundamental notion as to why this story is much more impactful than any OP character in other stories. She is quite literally living in an existential crisis, one that she cannot escape. Perhaps it's fate, perhaps misfortune, or perhaps it's simply life. It doesn't matter. Amelia is set on defying the odds.
The style fits how we see the world. Sometimes it is presented in the third pov and others first. Nonetheless, each presentation is meaningful and enjoyable. This also meshes well with the story style since we get the best of both worlds.
The grammar is really good.

A no-nonsense story where the MC is trying her very best to go into retirement and maybe get a pet too-and then all the hilariousness that follows her stumbling about trying to become anything but the hero of a world she doesn't belong in.
Ignore all the troll reviewers that have read only edgy stories their whole lives and never thought there's a wider literary world out there.

Initially I found the story was pretty funny, but would get old soon enough. Amelia was just too OP, and there wouldn't be any real drama or depth. I found her apathy and boredom with life to be pretty interesting and I enjoyed her relationship with Noelle. Also, I liked that the main villains are humans rather than monsters and the story remained funny though the first 50 chapters.

Hijinks ensue as the MC tries to find a peaceful life of not fighting when all she really knows involves fighting.
