Who needs a Class when you're already the strongest anyways?
Ten years ago, Amelia woke up alone and lost in a broken world where she had to fight for her survival.
Now, after reaching the pinnacle of power, defeating the Void itself, and escaping the abyss, she has finally found her way back into the real world. But instead of returning to Earth, she arrives in the land of Vacuos. A fantasy world with magic, monsters, Classes, and Levels. A world that is governed by a System like it were a video game.
And when rewarded with a Class befitting her accomplishments— to become a powerful [Hero] that will forever dedicate her life to protecting this world that is not her own— she only has one response.
“Absolutely not. I’m going to live a normal life now, thank you very much.”

- Peter I. (Ash & Ivy)Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0What do you do after you conquer the void and reach the apex of power? What do you do when you finally escape the abyss and find yourself in a new world with a System and Classes? What do you do when you’re Level [0], lost, tired, and broke?
Meet Amelia, the new arrival of the world of Vacuos!
With no class, she’s forced to join the Adventure’s Guild. After all, killing a few monsters shouldn’t be that much harder compared to killing voidlings, right?
- The dialogue is crisp and witty:
“Isn’t it possible you just went… a little bit crazy?” the blonde girl suggested idly.
“Rude,” Amelia said flatly.
- The main character, Amelia, and her sidekick, Noele, are polished and fun to read.
- The syntax and punctuation are solid.
- The story is lighthearted and enjoyable. - RunnerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The MC get's summoned to a broken world / universe and has spent the last 10+ years fighting just to live. She finnially escapes into an universe with a system that wants her to be a Hero and defend the world from the same enemy she escapes from.
Her answer: "*NO!* I'm tired and just want some peace."
Hijinks ensue as the MC tries to find a peaceful life of not fighting when all she really knows involves fighting. - WantedsoloRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0One phrase: Absolutely awesome...
I'm quite new to this genre and can't really say much in relation to other novels but all I can say is I am absolutely hooked. From the plot, idea and the author's impeccable character sketching (the irony of how the protagonists backstory is organically and slowly revealed while the rest of the characters are artfully introduced). absolutely amazed and willing to write home about.
(To the author: single request- Pls make more chapters: Seriously am devouring your chapters like anything and waiting too much is know to kill)
Either ways would recommend to everyone reading this comment!
Style: For me it's a personal favorite as I write as this as well- The dialogue is incorporated into the story with a present and past narration with various changing perspectives.
Story: Love it! Can't say more without spoiling the story.
Grammar: Seriously, not a single typo till where I've read and although the sentence structures are casual, you know that the author knows their english. No idea how the author's pumping chapters out this fast either.
Character: I've already explained how the side chars are all beautifuuly introduced but I've not given 5 stars cause I still think the MC should be made a bit more stable. Her character till now has had more mood swings than a typical teen and I think some of her eccentricity should be explained more with her facing her inner demons/ encountering some real challenge. (all my individual views off couse) - ender69Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok just wow. This is one of my new favorite web novels. I get a really strong "one punch man" in fantasy Isekai land feeling. The ennui and the deadpan humor totally come through in spades. Noelle is a pitch perfect apprentice and the pacing of the monsters is very good as well. I rarely write reviews but I have to make an attempt to give an alternate viewpoint compared to the haters. Please don't pay any attention to the low reviewers. Well except the honest ones. Bit you can tell which reviewers actually read the storyand arrnot trolls right? Good writing and prose, very well done! MelasD, don't let the haters get you down! Please keep the chaps coming, I'm already addicted. For review readers, take a look at my favorites and the other reviews I've written. I like to think I have good taste lol. Metaworld Chronicles, He Who Fights with Monsters, The First Defier, Magical Girl Gunslinger, Beneath the Dragoneye Moons, Salvos... You are in very good company. :)
Yeah yeah I know MelasD writes Salvos too! Just a little light humor. Cheers!
Ps if anyone who is not a troll reads this and also likes the story, please help the author out by rating and reviewing. Thanks! - darksevenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you're looking for an OP MC story, then this is the one. Despite the MCs absolute martial strength, there is still growth and plot without some of the rediculous contrivances other OP MC stories end up needing.
MelasD has continuously refined their writing in their other great stories and it really shows in this one. If you're looking for a fun easy read, this is perfect. - JSBAssocRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a hilarious and engaging story. It is not a progression story, so don't look for the same tropes here. The frustration of the mc is quite funny and the interactions with the characters she meets just add to it.
I find the writing descriptive, error-free and keeps me immersed in the story. This is worth your time! - ChaospatRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is the story of an OP MC who lost everything and don't want to fight anymore and search what she want to do now.
The fights of the characters other than the MC are good.
The relationships between the characters are believable, but not fantastic.
The world building is simple, but it works well.
I recommend it, although the release are unreliable. - Marshall75Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Initially I found the story was pretty funny, but would get old soon enough. Amelia was just too OP, and there wouldn't be any real drama or depth. I found her apathy and boredom with life to be pretty interesting and I enjoyed her relationship with Noelle. Also, I liked that the main villains are humans rather than monsters and the story remained funny though the first 50 chapters.
- ChickenChiefRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A really nice read once you get to the juicy content. At first, the story may present itself as OPM-like (one punch man) or stories where the character is simply too op. Well, it is that, but it's far more than just such.
Amelia is not a Hero, or at least, she doesn't want to be one. By all means, she has the power to become whatever she desires, but because of this, she loses what she most yearns for: the freedom of being Amelia. She wants to live life as herself, not as a Hero.
As selfish as it may seem, she has her reasons for such actions. This is also a fundamental notion as to why this story is much more impactful than any OP character in other stories. She is quite literally living in an existential crisis, one that she cannot escape. Perhaps it's fate, perhaps misfortune, or perhaps it's simply life. It doesn't matter. Amelia is set on defying the odds.
The style fits how we see the world. Sometimes it is presented in the third pov and others first. Nonetheless, each presentation is meaningful and enjoyable. This also meshes well with the story style since we get the best of both worlds.
The grammar is really good.
Overall, common Melas W.
Final score: 42.73/42.73 - chocbear25Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The author definitely achieves a one punch man feel that they are going for, making it a very fun read. It just feels a bit slow at times, with not that much happening in a single chapter. I hope that we start getting deeper into the characters. I recommend it
