The Author does a great job with the setting. They play a fairly long game with exploring a vision of the future ~40 years from now in the trips of 'late-stage' capitalism. Ideological disputes aside, that slow pace of setting development works wonders for investing you in the character's limited knowledge and plans.
Characterization is also lensed like this in a similar way. You see how the main character views others, *not* a narrated view of actions with a character opinion tacked on at the end. It's kind of annoying at first, but it helps you really understand why she makes certain decisions.
The overall story plot is pretty early on so far, but based on the foreshadowing seen in the setting and the character conflicts seen, it's probably going to be great.
Couple of minor things:
Some LitRPG elements. But it's not at all reliant on those and they are extremely dwell in the grated into character development beyond "number go up up up".
If you are excited by extremely graphic depictions of mind control/hypnosis (but not sex... that's off screen), Fiona will make that happen in a way that seems almost realistic. Very well done if you're into it. If not then it's no big loss, the way it's integrated into the overall plot is excellent.

Huh. This is quite good.
Seeing a story focused on brainwashing and hypno powers I was expecting to find another trashy power trip. Just focused on building a bland harem with questionable acts. This story is so much more. Firstly Cibelle both has personality of her own, and genuinely cares about other girls. She tries and struggles to remain ethical in face of her newfound powers - which is both entertaining, and so much better than just giving in.
... also the whole hypno thing is kind of hot. Pretty well written.
