A very whimsical story that the author is clearly having way too much fun writing, with a unique style of rampant chaos that's very enjoyable to read.
There's nothing too deep about it so far, and there's a lot of comedy based around the main character being an utter murderhobo maniac of a Zombie, but there's some fun promising character development and greater story hints.
So far, I would absolutely reccomend this funny, feel-good romp with a penchant for gore, and I hope to see a lot more.

My current favorite of the monster girl trend.

Pretty standard fantasy/system world. There are hints to some more unique big picture things, but the story is not far enough to really know.
All in all, its been a fun read so far.

It's more original than more litRPG. Also, the author of this fiction said they like the so I'm a spider so what light novel so that basically puts them as one of my favourites. Also, I really hate the 50 words word count minimum so I'm still typing just to fill that out. 55 words.

This is a nice slow paced story, MC is a clueless but nice girl who quickly grows OP.
This looks like the first story by the author and it shows a little. But the good news is that even in these first chapters Evil Lemon is showing progress and willing to take creative criticism well in comments.
Overall I'm enjoying the story and will be reading it when it comes out.

OverallI picked up Zombie Girl Evolution out of a passing curiosity of the wave of Monster Girl Evolution stories, and found a surprisingly fun read. The highlight of the story is the zombie girl herself, who acts... pretty much how you'd expect a zombie girl to act: hungry for brains without much of her own. Despite that, her simple thought process is what makes the story funny. The plot itself isn't super special or complex right now, but it does set up some mysteries about why our protagonist awakens. Overall, a pretty comedic story if you're looking for something more lighthearted!CharactersChloe is a comedic OPMC(?) who is driven mostly by her instincts and curiosity, and I love her for it! Her antics are definitely the main hook of this story. Aside from her, I like that the side characters have their own unique voices and watching them interact with the MC is delightful.StoryThere are some interesting mysteries that are set up, such as Chloe's real identity and what is the nature of her awakening (some sort of divine contest?). I do find that the worldbuilding is a little basic for now, aside from one aspect regarding how the divine powers are portrayed, but I guess its simplicity helps in making the setting more familiar to readers. I enjoy the story as more of a fun and casual read than something that is meant to delve into deep themes/worldbuilding, though that might change as the story progresses.Grammar and ProseProse is mostly simple and easy to follow, serving its purpose as a casual read. Love that the protagonist has a very strong voice! Some choices of words are a bit off to me and there may be grammatical slips here and there, but nothing too glaring.

Having a blast following along with Chloe and all of the crises that come with zombie life. She makes for an excellent MC, and the system that follows is just as much fun. Lots of clever quirks and an interesting take on the evolution mechanic, to say nothing of some twists and turns to classic zombie tropes. More complicated than just outright eating brains--although that's fun, too, of course!
Looking forward to seeing what's in store for our girl. Very loveable and very unique in her own way. It's Chloe's time to shine.

Honestly, this story really surprised me. At first, I thought it was just going to be a fun, lighthearted read and it is. But after sticking with it for more chapters, you can tell there’s something much bigger going on in the background.
Chloe, the MC, is this silly kinda clueless zombie girl. Sure, she kills a lot, but she never really comes across as evil. She’s a zombie, so a lot of what she does just feels like her nature, like eating brains (which she does a lot).
I really liked how the author actually makes that brain eating thing matter in the story without it feeling like a cheap gag. As the chapters go on, you can see Chloe slowly growing as a person. She starts helping people, sometimes on purpose, sometimes by accident. But either way, it’s fun to watch her change.
The writing style is super easy to follow, and Chloe’s voice especially stands out. You will always know when it’s her speaking. I will say, there are a few tiny grammar mistakes here and there, but they’re so minor it didn’t take away from the fun at all.
Overall, this is just a really funny, enjoyable story with a main character that’s hard to dislike. If you’re after something fun with a quirky MC, you should definitely give this one a shot.

This is a well written and very entertaining story. The author manages to create a zombie with craving for tasty brains that is whimsically stupid, thoroughly entertaining, dad level funny and entranced by learning magic.Gripes:I don't really like the storys unclear usage of levels where on one hand, level 1 of a species only tells you they are at the first stage of that species strength, but doesn't tell you anything about how that species strength compares to other species. This means that when evolving your species into a different (most likely stronger and more rare one) you get your level reset to 1.Meaning that while the system focuses only on telling you how you compare to your fellow species while giving you no comparison for how you rank against other species it also only tell you the species and level (not rarity) when you kill someone, doubling down on this behaviour.I'd argue that this would be counter productive for a system to do, unless it's goal is to confuse it's users and watch them being slaughtered because they happen to kick a rare level 1 Chicken-Dragon hybrid instead of a common level 1 chicken.I mean, that would be quite funny...So... any openings for the job as a system?

TLDR - great story, cool main character, lots of funny moments.
A light hearted take on the zombie protagonist. The author has managed to convey Chloe's innocence and naivety (in that she doesn't know much about anything having gained sentience as a zombie in a dungeon) without loosing the 'monster' part of being a zombie (i..e the eating brains thing, oh, and being completely, if animated, dead). the cast of supporting characters are well thought out and have their own quirks and personalitlies, but it is Chloe that remains the star.
The author has a light hand and the comedy is (mostly) subtle which is spread throughout each chapter. It is rare not to have passages causing me to giggle as I read each chapter. As for the writing itself, grammar/spelling is great, paragraphing appropriate and word usage is varied and, at times, clever. The plotting is quick enough that the story move along at an enjoyable clip without feeling rushed, with hints of something more that is just slowly being developed. Looking forward to seeing a) Chloe being OP and b) how the conspiracy pans out.

Is this the most intellectual story ever told? No, no it is not. So what need have you of your brain? Just let Chloe hold on to it for you, I'm sure it will be fine.
Chloe is written so refreshingly different from your normal MC of course she doesnt care about whatever that puffed-up guy is saying, its not related to brains and looord she could go for a snack. The lack of concern she has for most things makes sense: shes a zombie why would she care about loosing an arm? Not like it hurts at all.
Its a fun read, its an easy read. You dont need a complicated character with multiple motivations for something like this. Chloe is hungry. Magic brains taste goodest. Chloe find magic man and obtain snack time.
