Book 1 is now available onKindleandAudible!

Never underestimate the guy who has so much Mana it should kill him...

Nathaniel's bus ride was supposed to be just another boring commute. But now, he, 23 fellow passengers, and a corgi named Biscuit are stuck in a "Hell difficulty" tutorial, battling monsters and leveling up.

Easy difficulty, anyone can handle. Normal difficulty, you've got to put up a fight to get by. Hard difficulty is where only the tough ones last. And Hell? That's where you have to be a bit out of your mind!

With his terrifying talent for mana manipulation, Nathaniel decides to invest every stat point into mana. Attribute imbalance be damned. It will either kill him before the monsters and his enemies can, or turn him into one of the most powerful beings within the system.

This is the kind of book where I find myself waiting for a stockpile of chapters, reading them all in two days only to immediately buy the Patreon and read 3 months ahead. I then suffer immeasurable sadness for a long time until the cycle repeats.
I am truly glad this author can make their living from writing, if for no other reason than to get my fix.
If you are into progression as a genre, this series is the paradigm of what you seek.

    Food!
For a story about an all-powerful benevolent corgi, there's a lot of range. Some LITRPGs will just lean into delving, acquiring skills and abilities, developing skills and abilities... getting stronger in general. Yes, Biscuit is ridiculously OP, but when a dog boops you IT MEANS SOMETHING. There's adventure and loss, rage and affection, mystery and determination. Have some hell in your day.

I found this story on Amazon, and read this book before finding it on Royal road, this is my opinion for the pages 1-101.
I enjoy the book enough to want a second book by an hour into reading, even if the character is not my cup of tea.
The main character is kind of an egomaniac, and always thinking about everyone else as tools or objects, which bothers me, but...
The story and world building is otherwise quite amazing, even just at an hour in, I wish there were more books.
Very rarely do I read books with a character I dislike the motives of, but this one pushes me to enjoyment via the rest of the story telling.
    Wonderful Author To be fair.
Update: Finished the book, and I changed my mind about the MC, he is a solid character.
Author knows how to handle first impressions and overall story telling quite well, it is a really good.
    Character development is quite enjoyable.
I feel that very little could be improved overall without seriously hampering the flow of the story, There were a few typo's in the book version of the story though they were minor.
My overall impression of this story is a high one, as I have read a good deal of stories about Power fantasies, and Isekai, and this is definitely one written to a higher level than most.
The story telling is I want to say in the top 10% if not higher.
Thank you for creating this wonderful story, May it never end.

It's a little rough around the edges, but all around pretty good!
At first, the janky prose and antisocial protag make the story feel like itll be a generic sysapoc litrpg, but as the story progresses, it begins to show some real depth and character. The author just has a knack for taking genre tropes and implementing them in interesting ways. And yet, the story isn't bound by those tropes, and the plot goes in all sorts of cool and unexpected directions, and gets you genuinely excited for what'll happen next.
Oh, and the fight choreography is fantastic, the fight scenes are all incredibly hype and actually make the characters feel as powerful as theyre supposed to be. And, simultaneously, it avoids the excesses of power fantasy; Nat is constantly encountering new challenges and powerful foes that match or exceed his strength, which genuinely feel like they earn their difficulty. It can be hard to properly strike that balance, but Cerim makes it look easy.

My current opinion about this novel: Great, looking forward to every new chapter,  if you like this type of story I would recommend reading it. Though I had some problems with it (it isn't a masterpiece).
1st. If you have a problem with "average/bad" grammar you should know that the author's writing improves a lot as the story progresses. If you look at the new chapters and compare them to the first few chapters you will see larger paragraphs with more descriptions, and better writing. So don't leave because of that. As far as I remember, I have't found any misspelled word
2nd. For some reason in the beginning, it was clear that some characters had a grudge against the main character, it came across as artificial at first, just to create some form of conflict but it became clear that there existed some form of connection between many of the people on the bus. I was happily surprised that the interactions were actually thought out and meaningful. And had an impact as the story progressed. Relationships don't just grow out of nowhere, people don't become best friends the first time they meet.
3rd. The main character- I want to repeat something that he himself says, He's the "normal" one. As much as he himself isn't "normal" the others around him aren't either. This is shown when
The people from Hard difficulty meet the ones from Hell. They are still not exactly normal, but if compared to the people from Hell, they are "normal"
Though I will say that the characters, especially the main character, sometimes aren't 100% true to what they are portrayed as. Though they don't deviate far.
4th. And the thing that probably draws me the most about this story. Is how literal the words "weapon of MASS Destruction" are. Houses collapsing, giant creatures crushing them as they move. Mountains crumbling into dust. Rocks, twigs, and trees being ripped out of the ground and flung at enemies. The author uses and abuses the environment around his characters to create compelling battles

I had been worried at first when it looked like it would be an overpowered rise in the human world by the title. So they way the story went was a nice change to say the least. I mainly loved two of the ways the author wrote the story, one when you actually feel the characters growth through the story. Second is how the skills work. You aren’t just given a list of skills that do everything and deus ex machina the story but each one has its own section to show the significance of the improvement and how the characters use them to their fullest. Anyway I love the story and where’s its going and waiting for the next chapters! Ps: Beware of the Biscuit.

Great novel no doubt about it, It's a bit raw in the start if I am remembering right but stay with it and you will find a rare gem. So glad I stumbled upon this novel.
    Characters are so worth it
    Story's as engaging as wonderful
Give it a shot, you will love it.

The characters are unique and have their own progression/skills. Everyone is doing something different and no two people use the same skill in the same way.
The plot, world and system are all intriguing. So much stuff going on at any moment, it's amazing. I love it.

This is one of the best stories out there. That's really all that needs to be said, but I will do my best to elaborate, knowing full well that I can't possibly do it justice.
Nathaniel isn't your average human. He's a little bit of a sociopath, or maybe just on the spectrum. But, he likes Corgis so he can't be that bad. Really, not many of the characters are "normal." This choice really allows the author to dig deeply into the human psyche and expertly explore details that other books miss out on.
The story is a heart pounder, both in suspense and in investment into these characters. The author really does an amazing job putting these characters in difficult positions, eliciting an emotional response out of that, and finding a way for those characters to both evolve and overcome.
Please note: Characters do in fact die. This can be traumatic for the reader invested emotionally in a side character. But, because of that it adds to the uncertainty of it all. Is my favorite character going to survive? And, RARELY, a character presumed dead does find a roundabout way of returning, so even if a favorite side character does in fact perish there's always the hope that they return. This makes the stakes feel more real and keeps the reader on the edge of their seat.
I have rarely, if ever, noticed a grammatical error.
