Book 12 starts with chapter 883.Current schedule is Mon-Wed-Fri, USA timezone.

Jason wakes up in a mysterious world of magic and monsters. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters, and that’s just the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Follow Jason as he makes a place for himself in a world that is strange, yet sometimes strangely familiar. He’ll meet crime lords and aristocrats, gods and monsters on his path from would-be victim to heroic adventurer. At least, he tries to be heroic. It’s hard to be good when all your powers are evil.

Please note: I am Australian and this story is written in Australian English, so there will be less of the letter Z and more of the letter U.

rather than be shaped by the world around him I feel like the world is beginning to change because of his existence.
even the gods of the other world are talking notice, what unique about him isn’t his power or even being an ”outerworlder”, but his ideas and how he interacts with the world around him, he is the type of character that affects the mentality of the people around him and forces people to question everything even religion.
This is just a short review after reading all the chapters released so far by the time I posted this review.
i add to it later on when I feel like it lol

Chapter 146 was everything I could have asked for and more. 11/10, would buy pottery.

Great series, I always see it rated either top tier or right below on book lists of similar titles if that’s any help for people. I enjoy the humor most, followed by the world/character building done throughout the series. Definitely worth your time if you are searching to scratch an isekia itch.

One of my top 5 favorite litrpg series of all time. I've even started following the author on Patreon and purchased the audible books up to the current pre-order.
Jason Asano is an awesome main character. He makes me laugh a ton. Side characters, plot, world building and grammar are on point. The story makes me feel a range of emotions, which I always look for in any book.
Shirtaloon is a talented writer for sure.

Progression and pacing is great, universe is well set up and the comedy is awesome, the Aussie style banter is tops.
Jason is a bit moody at times but he's a nerdy kid so it's to be expected.
The switch to a different world  was a great change of pace and gave the story a completely different feel

Great story with an Aussie flair hard to complain about that. This really has brought my once dormant love of reading back, makes me wonder why I ever stopped.
Story might not be everyone's cup of tea but I highly recommend it.
Audio book is also top notch and the narrator fits the story perfectly.

I've been reading fantasy for a long time, and this LITrpg style stuff for the last few years. I've found a few issues in the style that frustrates me
    1. The lack of long term vision/adaptability in the world. Basically they start their world building and eventually the character gets too powerful and the story starts to fall apart. - I'm over 700 chapters into this story and still feel like I'm going to need 700 more to understand the world that is being developed. This is on the top of my list of why I love this story.
    2. The empty machismo of the male characters. Gratuitous sexual violence always only perpetrated on women. The weird 'dudes club' way that the character parties develop. Like the authors were living out some weird fantasy... fantasy. - Jason is not the most nuanced of characters, though he has nuanced up a bit as things have progressed... but he doesn't feel like a wannabe frat dude.
    3. I enjoy the non-american centric-ness of it. I love my american friends, but it's nice to have the perspective come from elsewhere.
    4. Can I add, again, just how nicely conceived the world is? I really enjoy it.
    5. Weirdly, and this may seem like a contradiction, i like how vague things are. I have no idea HOW MANY COINS or HOW MANY PANTS Jason has. Thankfully.
Is it a perfect story? I don't know what would be. I could use a few less 'he said' and 'she said'. But that's mostly because I listen. It is, for me, the perfect kind of escapist fantasy. It doesn't wander off into 27 separate narrative threads, I like almost all of the recurring characters, and I don't have to overlook random bits of cruelty that seem to be inserted at random.
Plus I really enjoy the story. I have all the audiobooks and follow along here.
    Thanks for writing it.

What happened to 883 to 949 was on 900 and it's gone:(. Was really getting into the characters explanation on how Jason had improved. An then out of nowhere I'm lock out of reading. Just move to 950. I will say there is some points where the sentence didn't quite to seem Wright 🤔 like words or a word was missing nothing big a verb or adverb here an there.

So. How to begin a review?
The story is fun, even though I personally did not like the beginning so much. In my opinion, it gets better as it goes on, story-wise. Some arcs are better than the others, of course, but still, I liked them better than the opening one. Obviously somehow you have to present the reader a new world, so I understand that the beginning is the hardest piece to write.
The MC is a bit of a prick, and I agree with people who say he just does whatever the hell he wants to do and nobody punishes him for it. Not only that, they actually agree with him. And yet, that's one of the reasons I like reading this story. I might be a bit of a dick myself, but I empathize with the dude enough to cut him some slack.
Grammar seems good to me, but the style is a bit flat. Now, I know how hard it is to have a style that's both consistent and unique enough. I am writing three different stories and I see that even switching between one and the other set me back at least two days while I get into its unique style. Add on top of that the fact that even two months can change your style radically... I get it, you know? I just hope the author can find HIS style and be comfortable with it.
Overall, a great story. I definitely recommend it.

This fiction started off fairly strong, then after the MC hass alot of stupid rubbish decisions and reactions I have had enough and have given up on the story.
