Forest God

Csialeide is the old god of the forest of whispers, winding the secrets of the world in her endless snail shell. But even ancient gods long for companionship. To ease her loneliness she takes a daughter, a delicate hatchling chick, who falls from her nest on Csialeide's back to seep in her corrosive slime and be reborn a goddess in her own right. But raising a god-daughter is nothing like Csialeide expected.
